auto rotate only while soft keyboard is active - Android Apps and Games

I've searched everywhere for this one, maybe the API doesn't support it:
I hate auto rotate and I always have it set to off.
But when I'm typing, the landscape mode is very comfortable.
Is there an app that enabled auto-rotate ONLY for when the keyboard is displayed on screen?
I've seen other apps that control auto rotate (force/auto/off) per app - but the keyboard is not a standard app...
Thanks

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible... couldn't a system-wide app just run a check to determine the state of the soft keyboard?

How to Disable Auto Rotate?

Is there a way to disable the rotate on the Touch Pro? My annoyance is that some times I take pictures with the phone in landscape..... and when I view the pictures, the phone would auto rotate the screen making unviewable
I see a solution with using different picture viewer. I use Resco, because it has much more functionalities than builtin viewer. I want to disable autorotation while keyboard is slided out. Any hack for this?

App to control auto-rotate automatically?

I don't like my homescreens to autorotate but I do like it when I am using my keyboard in apps such as forums and texting.
Is there an app that will set autorotate to OFF on my homescreens and ON when using my keyboard? Or maybe where I could specify which apps I want to activate it on and have it work automatically?

i'd like to know as well
Not really any apps that I know of that can "detect" when you need the auto rotate function to work. But, I use Switch Pro with the auto rotate on my homescreen and I use Quick Settings, which works on any screen by using a long press on the search button. This calls up the app and I can activate auto rotate and quickly go back to the previous screen. Hope this helps.
Well, there is an app in the Market called "Auto-Rotate Status Bar Switch" that turns auto rotate on and off from your Notification Bar. It works fine and I use it, but I was just hoping for an app that automated the process.
There is another app called "Rotation Toggler" that is actually even better. You can just turn rotation on and off by long pressing the Search button and clicking their icon.
tasker.. you can set auto rotate to turn on when you open specific apps

No "auto rotate" widget works properly on market?

Hi I wad surprised by the number of widget switches that allow to enable / disable the auto rotate screen feature (there are plenty) ; but not a single one works properly on my galaxy tab. I mean when I enable with any of these Widgets the "auto rotate" setting it works fine, but when I disable it, it looses the current screen orientation and set a predetermined one.

Is there a way to REDUCE the rotation sensitivity?

As the subject said, the rotation (gyro) on the GT7+ is very sensitive. Many times I just titled the screen slightly and the screen rotates.
Can't you just turn off rotation in the quick task settings when you open the notification slider? Is that good enough for your uses?

I can, but I do use the rotation feature. I.e. when browsing the web. It get annoying when I read a PDF, the screen rotates, so I have to rotate it back, turn rotation off, keep reading, click on a web link, rotate, doesn't work, turn on rotation, etc...etc...
I also have an iPad 2 and the rotation is not as sensitive.

Toggle the orientation with a shortcut/toggler app?

Sometimes I'd need to quickly switch the global orientation to landscape and back. I hate auto-rotation as it's slow and often rotates unneededly with any phones I owned. The best solution would be a simple app/shortcut that would simply toggle the orientation between to states (eg. standing portrait-left landscape). I could then assign this app to hardware buttons, gestures or launchers.
I haven't found something like this until now - is there a way to do this now (Tasker task, Xposed module etc), or will I be able to write an app to do this - can the global orentation be changed programmatically?
Try this Ultimate Rotation Control = Here
Ultimate Rotation from Play Store is the best app doing this job
