So today i found out that the droid thunderbolt has ice cream sandwich 4.04... my question: how do i root my droid thunderbolt with the official firmware, 4.04. I found a thread saying "root any 4.0 ICS" but i am not sure if that counts for my thunderbolt AND i dont want to brick it. please forgive me, I cant find a thread really answering my question. I am a noob. I have rooted my thunderbolt before. but i ordered a new one, this one is brand new and i have yet to even update it, but i am assuming that i will be updating it to ICS 4.04 may some one please help me and 1k apologize for being a noob

Bought my Atrix in Australia with Bell firmware, rooted and successfuly flashed it with OLYEM_U4_1.4.2.gz some time ago.
All works fine.
With the forthcoming Telstra update to Gingerbread will I be able to just upgrade my Atrix without any hickups or do I have do do something else to it prior to upgrading.
should have auto update you can look for an update in your settings latest one i think is like 2.5 but i wouldn be worried much bout gingerbread in october or november they should be releasing ice cream sandwich occording to what i read on google

Moving to Q&A
I have a rooted HTC Amaze with s-on and unlocked bootloader. Yesterday I tried to flash Android Revolution so I can have an ICS rom. I couldn't use my phone for almost an entire day until I finally figured out how to get back onto bulletless around 2am.
I want to upgrade to ICS but I have no clue what to do, I have read many many threads about what to do but nothing is really clear to me.
I might be asking something really obvious to some people but I am eff'd if I can't use my phone and I just need a little help from someone who can tell exactly what to do, thanks everyone.
HTC AMAZE
Originally Telus, unlocked for WIND now.
version 2.3.4
Bulletless V2.4.1
Sense 3.0
no help????
I know that everyone that bought their phone from tmobile can just update it by going through their settings and doing it but mine can't. I currently have a unlocked tmobile sensation and I have at&t on it and the phone is rooted with a custom rom called Android Revolution HD 3.5.2 by mike1986 and it says my android version is 2.3.4. I have no idea what all of this is but a couple of months ago my cousin did this for me on my phone and now I'm trying to get ICS on this. Is there anyway I can do it? Is there a guide or anything?
Thanks for reading.
