I created an account and am fiddling around with it.
Looks good so far. One small remark, when you advertise full control, it would be nice to actually have full control.
Enabling GPS etc..
Will play around with it in the next few days and I'll report back my findings.

Great news!
Now all transmission of data occurs over an encrypted channel (SSL)... even more secure!

The server upgrade is over and all services are up again.
Remote Phone is ready to sync more and more users! Yeahhhh..

Hi Guys,
Been developing for Android for a couple years now and have some apps published. I know XDA for years now and, believe it or not, just today I signed up for the forums. Silly me!
History:
Last year I traveled with my family. It was a big group, 6 people in total. It was a lot of fun, but we had one small problem: sharing the expenses! At one point my father would pay for the taxi, hours later I would pay for lunch, and after that my mom would get me some ice cream... and it goes on for a whole week.
After 7 days, I had no idea how much I owed my parents, or how much they owed me. Quite annoying! That's when I decided to develop an app to try to overcome this.
Using the I Owe You You Owe Me app you can create debts and credits for your family friends, picking them from yout Android's contact list, or quickly creating a contact in the app. You can also find this person in your Facebook friend's list and, if this person also have the IOU app, he will automatically get notified that you are creating a credit or debit for him/her. Pretty neat!

I have created the Free and Pro version. Free is Ad based and Pro is not. Basically that's all. I have decided that from now on I won't be adding new functionality to the Free version, just the Pro one.
The next functionality to be implemented will be integration with Paypal. You will now be able to pay (or get paid) your friends through the app, using your Paypal account!
I am also considering the use of the new Google Wallet, but not for now at least.
Features:
- The IOU data inserted in the app is now backed up in the cloud. If by any chances you have to wipe out your phone, for example, when you install it again, the data will be there!
- Facebook integration. If you connect I Owe You You Owe Me to your Facebook it now means that your friends can find you via the app the add debts or credits to you. And vice-versa.
- Reminder notification. Set an alarm to let you know when a debt or credit is due.
- History. You are able to see the history of pay outs
- App support many different currencies
- Reports. Generate reports to be sent by e-mail to your friends

2-way live synced notepad/sketchpad?

I'm back in college, and sort of stuck on a communication issue. Several of my family members are engineers already, and eager to help out - but they're all in different places around the country. explaining maths and physics over the phone/skype alone, is extremely ineffective. We all have the Note 10.1, and have been looking for something like a 2-way live notepad or sketchpad to make this arrangement work properly. Even a simple "Paint" app would do the trick, as long as it allows live 2-way "sync" with input from both sides.
I've been googling my brains out for a week now, and refuse to believe there is nothing out there that can do this in some fashion. Anyone come across something like this?

I have not found anything that syncs by itself, however, for my different paint programs i use foldersync to sync the appropriate folders to my dropbox account (several other accounts can be hooked up to foldersync), and this allows me to have a constant backup of all my artwork.
You could setup something similar, a dropbox or other account to sync to, and then specific folders on each device for syncing. Just search for foldersync on the play store.

Syncing files is not a problem, we use dropsync for that currently - but for this intended purpose, that would require completing the task, saving the file and then it can e viewed in the other end. As with maths and physics, we'want to be able to give explanation over skype, during writing...

I've been hacked, can you help me to see where was the problem?

Information:
Just 2 hours ago I have been hacked and I think that was in my phone. I was making a paypal payment to a friend using the paypal app when sudently, seconds after sending the payment I received a mail of paypal with that transaction and another one of 2.500€ that obviously I never did.
The payment was never make because I don't have so many funds, but they tried 5 times with different quantities and all of my cards. Well, after seeing this I changed my password and all of that **** and right now I want to know before I make a clean rom install if I could investigate where the hack came from.
I am using a Galaxy note 3, it is rooted but limited apps have access to root and I also use xprivacy.

What I want
I want to investigate if is possible a little bit more of this. I was thinking on restoring a Titanium of all my apps to yesterday, open logcat or any app that can help me to know where the leak came and what app was the malware and try to make another legit transaction to see if happens anything from my phone.
The problem is that I don't really know how should I proceed and I want to solve this for me and more people.
Any idea?

Is the network you used secure out of curiosity? What kind of apps do you have as far as security just curious?

You could try taking a look at some of the applications' play store reviews as well as the modules' forum threads to see if anything had been reported. I'm always very cautious with root permissions, hard to always know what an app will use it for. Personally I stick to my PC for transactions and stay as far away from Google wallet as I can

There's a VirusTotal app you could try, maybe one of your apps is malicious. But if you'd know how to, I'd also just copy all the apps to your PC and then upload them to VirusTotal that way, it'd be a lot easier.
There's also some pc malware out that can infect your phone even. I'd run a decent anti virus on both your phone and your pc as well. (I like Kaspersky, Malwarebytes and ESET personally).
The other thing too is maybe your passwords are just really weak. I'd recommend a password generator like Keepass.

Probably the most useful app I've found on this site! I work constantly and have my phone on silent and I always miss calls and later have to deal with the whole "why didn't you answer" crap but now I can at least know instantly when I miss a call and notify the contact asap instead of hours later.
