Has anyone heard anything other than what's online? Is it coming to Verizon? The only thing holding me back from the DNA was the storage, and the fact that I would loose my unlimited data.

Verizon usually doesn't carry HTC's "stock" phones. I would not get my hopes up.
Stock?

HTC wanted to sell the One X as its flagship device, Verizon won't order them.

Tucker, what luke means is that the powers that be at VZW prefer to have HTC make phones specific to them. Verizon just loves control. They get the iCrap an Samsung Galaxies only because people will often switch carriers for those phones.
Verizon treats HTC like a chubby girl vying for its attention. It makes it do things the other girls wont, because the other girls (apple, samsung) are more popular and have more self-respect.
I hope HTC can get to "galaxy" status, and have the M7 on all carriers. I also want them to make removable batteries and SD Card slots... I guess they're all equally unlikely to happen.
Duely blundered from my thunderdolt.

My contract with AT&T is up and ive been using a ****ty nokia since I broke my Tilt2 over the summer. I'm thinking about the Atrix but not sure especially if it cant be rooted. Wish the Samsung 4g was coming sooner... What do you think I should do? Want to hear people's thoughts and arguments, especially since I can change carriers if i want. I'm in NYC and I already know AT&T sucks, Verizon gives handjobs and puppy dogs, so lets hear it...

The decision is up to you, but if you are hell bent on Verizon and have Atrix on the brain id hold out for the Droid Bionic.
Nah im not hell bent on Verizon, it was just a preemptive response to all the flamers who were going trash ATT
It would be awesome to get that dual screen phone Sprint was touting...
Go to T-Mobile this weekend only for any smartphone for free.

No, that phone will be absolutely horrible for development. Android is not designed for two screens.

Both the G2 and the MT4G are 4G.
Galaxy S II, I want that! The international version even has AT&T bands. Hope it comes here so I don't have to pay 600 for a phone.

I don't think anyone can truly answer this for you though, which is why the atrix vs inspire threads keep popping up. In the end you'll have to weigh the pros and cons of the features and networks and decide what's best for "you"

I love the Inspire but HTC with a dual core snap dragon running army 1.2ghz,sounded kinda interesting. But your right. Atrix was a huge fail, thanks for advice.

When I got my Inspire I knew that there would be more dual core options later in the year. But I've got another upgrade due in August I figured I would sell the Inspire at that time if there was a good alternative then. I bet there will be an At&t variant that will be out by the end of the 3rd quarter. I don't think the Sensation will be the steaming pile of fail that the Atrix is and it will have a 1520 mAh battery.
When I look at the spec's it's basically an Inspire with the DC SD, a better screen and they found the room for the bigger battery. Add Gingerbread and Sense 3.0 out of the box and it looks like a Dev's dream. By then they'll be cooking IC Sandwich roms.
I'm sure it all will be ported to inspire.

haha I just read the last replies and i think, it's so funny how most guys here from the states always worry about the network . I mean who cares what phone you can get with At&t and which one with verizon. You can get pretty much every single phone to work with every single carrier. Just buy a phone without simlock and buy the plan from whatever network you want.
Anyway, dont know why i just brought that up again, i guess cause im german and i never ever bought a phone directly from a carrier before

It doesn't work like that.
AT&T and T-Mobile phones are not compatible with Verizon or Sprint. The opposite is true.
Verizon phones are not compatible with Sprint. The opposite is also true.
Even within GSM (AT&T and T-Mobile), they use different frequencies. AT&T is 1900MHz, while T-Mobile is 1700MHz. It's exceptionally rare to find a 3G GSM phone that works on both carriers.
So, yes, it is important to consider the network in the US, because you probably won't be able to take that phone to any other carrier and still get 3G.
I'm new to verizon just came from TMO where I had a G2. Now that I have verizon and obviously have a Tbolt. I wanna trade my G2 for another verizon phone. What should I trade my G2 for? I don't know what device to look into.

If you want to experiment with the second phone, I'd suggest a dinc, even though it will be significantly less powerful than a G2

I was actually thinking about getting one. I found an Iphone4 today on CL for $320. It had already been sold. Then I started thinking that Verizon would probably change my date plan if I got an Iphone4 under my current account.
Why not just sell the G2 then hold on to the money to buy a replacement phone when you need to? Phones will devalue over time pretty fast and become obsolete, money holds value significantly better. That way by the time you possibly break your Thunderbolt if you do break it, you can probably just buy another one as a backup because it will be considerably cheaper then.
This is pretty turrrrible. how can they do that? Unlocked bootloader for 15$ per month? Might make me hold onto my S3 for alot longer than I anticipated.

Well, that's one site, so it may not be true. My guess is that Moto and Google won't work together and make a non-Nexus phone. But, in the case that this is true, its reason #187324 to get the hell of Verizon, as I will be doing in August. Easily the worst carrier CS-wise. Cost me $65 to return the DNA. I'm just done. T-Mobile take my significantly smaller sum of money.
I doubt any of that info is true. Just my two cents.

Smells like bull****.
Even if true, you should unlock the bootloader using tools found on XDA and then donate the $15 to the awesome devs here, thus making the world a better place

T-Mobile service is terrible though. Two bars of 4G in my bedroom with verizon, data dropping on the note II on T-Mobile. Literally would drop 4G to 3G and back and forth and data was unusable. Both sat pretty close to -111dBm.
Might be going back to sprint. Least I know from having had them I get their 3G. Can't wait for their LTE.

Lol in my area, tmo gets >20 mbps hspa+ speeds. Sprint has actually no service. Verizon is the best, but eh I'll deal.
Not being an official statement, I suspect the article is full of fertilizer.
....sigh...just because it's on the internet it doesn't mean it's true. Plus for it to be a trend, this would need to be happening with other devices already, which is not.

You do know that google now owns Moto Phones right?
Lol if this is true, Verizon is full of shit.. You can unlock your phones as long as you pay us. LOL
I read the article on droid life, it has to do with unlocking the phone to use on another carrier.I think we'll be just fine if it truly is bad why would they start charging $15a month extra for unlocked phone's (which is ridiculous) they may have the best service but they truly become money hungry....T-Mobile is slowly catching up...maybe in the future they'll take big red's crown.never under estimate the under dog.my opponent did and lost

I don't believe so. I don't think AT&T has EVER carried a nexus device? When the Galaxy Nexus hit, only T-Mobile/Sprint/Verizon where the only ones to carry it.
Why not get it from Google?
What does it matter? Just order from google. I sure wouldn't want AT&T "my commute", AT&T connect and so on. /cringe
Best buy is supposed to have them I think at some point.
Last I heard Best Buy currently had them but I'm not sure how well stocked they are and there charging quite a bit more

All for the best. If I'm getting a Nexus why would I let AT&T sink their teeth into it and stick me with all their bloatware.
like everybody said, ATT probably won't carry it. even if they do, i'm sure they'd mark it up like everyone did.
Swappa is your best friend.
You don't want AT&T to sell any Nexus devices. Just look at the S4 forum for your reason. Same reason why I'm never buying a phone from them again.

They did sell the Nexus S a number of years ago.
I use the Nexus 5 on AT&T, works great, great HSPA and LTE speeds.
It would be a lot cheaper to buy the phone outright and switch to att's aio wireless product. That's what I did. $55/mo, no contract, no paying for their overpriced phones. I can buy a brand new phone every year, still come out ahead, and sell my old one. No real decision to make.
