I have my note 1 without being rooted with the leaked official JB. My problem is that I can't choose between swype and samsung keyboard while I write a message. Also, and that happens only with greek language, and only with samsung keyboard, the letters are all caps and not only the 1st letter.
also in case i have trash from previous rom, someone said to restore the phone. From where? I go to samsung account--> divice backup--> restore? i don't want to delete any files, or restore to factory settings, just to clean it because it lags after the new rom.

to wipe you need to be on a custom recovery and going to wipe and factory reset, wipe cache, and dalvic cache.

Tell all these with instructions pls. I don't know much from these stuff. To do wipe I have to delete all my files? I want to reset it and stay to the version that I am now

yeah to do a proper wipe you have to factory reset your phone.
there are backup methods, such as titanium backup (Etc.) you can google them up.
but you have to be running a custom recovery, i'm on my note II running twrp,
so i boot into recovery by turning on the phone by holding Power+Volume up+Home buttons,
the menu pops up and i go into Wipe,
then i go into factory reset and i complete it
then i go back and wipe cache,
then i wipe dalvic cache,
i wipe each a couple of times, cause i'm used to it.
I use this process in order to flash new ROMs that way nothing actually stays from the old rom.
If i recall from the last time i used ClockWorkMod recovery, factory reset is in the main menu as well as cache, same process, but for wiping the dalvik cache, you have to go into the advanced menu.
you say you want to stay on the same ROM you have, all you have to do is wipe, then reboot.
but careful, cause if you wipe, and you don't backup, then you won't really be able to go back. you should boot into recovery, make a nandroid backup, and then wipe, if it doesn't fix it, then you can go back to exactly the way you were before the wipe.

i don't know anything about the note and what has been released yet, but i usually stay away from leaked builds, that may be the problem,
it isnt that you wiped the phone incorrectly, but that the ROM has a bug.
What can i do now? Can i root the phone, then keep a back up and try another rom?

Reboot
Are you rooted or stock. If stock it may have something to do with the latest OTA OJ6. If rooted, I think what the 2nd post could be right, reset is you best option. Just make sure u backup your data on the internal memory. As it be erased with a hard reset.

If you don't do a factory data reset in the settings of your phone but use the factory reset option in twrp recovery instead then you will not lose your pictures or anything else in your internal SD card.
Odin flash the stock firmware after doing a full wipe of system, data, cache, dalvik and factory reset all in twrp recovery before Odin flashing.
Good luck and have a nice day.

Your phone needs to be rooted to use twrp as I have outlined.
Good luck.

It's easy to root.
Get the twrp Odin flashable TAR file , the noble version and Odin flash it after copying Jovys rooting kernel into your internal sdcard.
You can find jov23's stock-modified rooting kernel in the n920t original developers thread here in this forum.
After Odin flashing twrp your phone will boot into twrp recovery where you need to install Jovys zip file kernel.
Good luck.

I leave my phone idle for 1 minute and press the power button and the phone doesn't respond for around 10 seconds. Then the notification light flashes red a few times and the phone just reboots. It happens ALL THE TIME. Is there a fix for it?
Thanks!

Stock ROM (32.2.A.0.305), Androplus kernel, I've had it for 3-4 months now

I think best thing for first if you dont want to try new firmware, do factory reset, data cache and dalvik cache, if it don't help flash new firmware using flash tool.
