No calls no texts - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Flashed a stock rom and now I can't make calls or send texts. I tried flashing radios as well with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you read about imei and back it up? Have you tried any of the imei sticky threads or droidstyle's sticky guide that will guide you through nearly any issue?

No prob. I'd say its 90 percent likely this is your issue amomare (I hope that I have his name right) has also released a powerful tool to help you restore imei
Edit: make sure its an IMEI issue before doing anything!

[Q] Quick question between sch-1535 & gt-i9300

What is the actual difference?
Obviously they are different models, but what is different. I only ask for rooting purposes.
Not just models, completely different processors. Nothing that has to do with rooting is compatable between them.

Thanks for the quick reply! I will steer clear of the i9300 roms.

Do not flash anything made for the international gs3 unless you want a nice paperweight that cannot be recovered (unless you JTAG.. Not cheap)

Sch i535 Gs3 4.1.2 root

I'm supernoob here so I apologize if this is resolved elsewhere. I need to know if the root method for the vzw sch i535 gs3 4.1.2 is exactly the same as for 4.1.1. Just so all the non noobs know I googled this and searched xda several times and did not find a definitive response or even a specific 4.1.2 method. I am really new to to modding/flashing and I just want good solid information.

Thank you. I understand the bootloader for i535 has been especially troublesome so I was looking for something that specifically mentioned my device build. Ill try this.

XDA Samsung Repair Utility?

Does anybody know where I can find the XDA Samsung Repair Utility? found in this guide? I deleted my IMEI and the thread on how to restore it can't be accessed on xda.
I believe it was pulled - violating rules. Try a search I think there was a thread a few weeks back asking that same question.

Same here! It would be great if someone could post a mirror! Seems there are more and more people losing their IMEI's and no exact guides to restoring it. have seen the xda repair utility in a video, and it would be great if it was that easy to fix our devices.
Anyone? Buller? Buller?
regards!
I don't think we can have mirrors for that tool on xda but I can point you guys in the right direction. See my post.

It took me a while to find but the easiest solution was to odin back to stock. Section 5 here.
Then type *2767*3855# on stock dialer to reprovision your phone (will wipe again).
