Here's how to unbrick it and get in onto the download mode.
After getting it into the download mode, flash KPE

[Q] URGENT!! Issue of Samsung Vibrant

Hi guys,
I tried to root my phone and installed the "One-Click lag fixed"
Then, my phone get into trouble
So, I can power on my phone and it stuck at the "Galaxy S" pages. Not loading into the system. Then, after it keep loading on that page for a while, the screen turn black and if I touch the 4 button that are placed under the screen, they glow. If I press the power off, it will restart itself and stuck at the "Galaxy S" page again.
Here I have downloaded the (1) ODIN v1.3 (2) s1_odin_20100512.pit and (3) T959UVJI6.tar
I open the ODIN exe, press volume up and down button then plug my phone to my computer, then my phone showed an Andriod digging the ground.
Then I added s1_odin_20100512.pit next the PIT option and T949UVI6.tar under PDA option. And click Start
Here's what the ODIN showed:
<ID:0/003> Added!!
<ID:0/003> Odin v.3 engine (ID:3)..
<ID:0/003> File analysis..
<ID:0/003> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/003> Initialzation..

<ID:0/003> Completed..
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 1 / failed 0)
<ID:0/004> Added!!
<ID:0/004> Removed!!
Also, ODIN showed PASS; therefore, I unplug my phone from the computer
however, when I am done with ODIN and my phone reboot itself. The same thing happened. It stuck at the "Galaxy S" page
What did I do wrong!?
Thanks everyone.
sounds like a busybox issue. try this flashable version in recovery mode then reboot. :

Flash only pit file while you are in that mode, odin must detect the device.
When flashing is done Remove batery and enter download mode.
Flash pda/phone /modem/modem.
Your device revives.

[Q] GT-P1000 not booting after HEIMDALL Failed Flash

Hello everybody.. I'm in trouble I would appreciate your kind assistance.
I was trying to flash my GTAB GT-P1000 Wifi 3G using Heimdall
I followed the instructions I found in this forum. The flash failed and got this message:
Code:
ERROR Partition "primary-boot" does not exist in the specified PIT
Then the TAB shows only a GREY Battery screen and only after I plug it to wall charger.
It no longer gets into the recovery mode or the Download-Mode using the known combination: Holding Power + Volume down.
At first I was scared, but I used another combination: Pressing Power and both of volume buttons - and + then releasing Power button while keeping the volume buttons held.
In the screen there is a small android and a text:
POWER RESET OR UNKNOWN UPLOAD MODE
This trick allowed me to enter into a different Download Mode, and both odin and heimdall detects my device.
Now I don't know what should be the next step.
Please could you tell me what I should do to make my tab alive again? Any hints are welcome.
Hi Guys,
Finally I succeeded at getting it into Download Mode, I run Odin3_v1.7 and tried to flash it with GB_Stock_Safe_v5
But the flash always fails after movinand.mst.

S8+ odin failure

Hi everyone,
This morning i clicked on an app "torque pro" and my phone immediately rebooted itself and got stuck in a constant reboot loop. I couldnt get into stock recovery either. I decided that the only way to bring it back to life would be to flash the stock firmware again via odin.
I have tried for the last 2 hours using different versions of ODIN and Different stock firmwares but i end up getting a write failure everytime around 70% of the way. The log is below:

My phone is technically an ATT S8+ but i had flashed the Canadian Bloatfree firmware before. Does anyone have any suggestions how i can fix this. Smart Switch doesnt even have the option to initialize so i cant force it to flash stock back on the phone.
use a official cable(usb) maybe that will work.
Tried a couple of cables as well as the one that came in the box with the phone... same result unfortunately.

Drivers maybe
Drivers are all good. Since I am in Canada and the phone is AT&T... Samsung Canada wouldn't even check what's wrong with it.
Samsung website showed Ubreakifix in Buffalo as an authorized repair facility and I took it there... Thru weren't able to do anything to the phone either.
Just a little bump...
Samsung Canada is being ridiculous and refusing to service a USA phone
Hey you! Here is your fix
1, load into download mode (bixby volume down, power button)
2, click cancel (volume down)
3, load into download mode again
4, click continue (volume up)
5, flash, no error now! No need to flash another bootloader or etc, just every time you want to flash anything use this trick.

I have the issue to and I tried this method for a few hours and nothing changed. Flash error in Odin is still there.
I saw this guy doing it in a YouTube video. . Looked like the timing of it was very tricky . . . . Did you see the video ?
hth.
I saw a couple of videos in which the guy goes into download mode again the moment he starts Odin.. I've tried that many times but I end up getting the same error. With that being said in my case the BL anf CS files flash without any problems.
The AP file though goes 70% all the time and then stops at "__XmitData_Write" portion. I wonder if there is anyway to find out what that is.
Try if you can flash TWRP with odin.
If successful, format data and wipe everything.
After that try flashing official firmware.
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..

Failed flashing TWRP 3.2.3.0-zeroflte.img.tar via Odin in Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920I

Hi guys!
I have a problem trying to root my Samsung Galaxy S6 (SM-G920I).
What I already have done:
- I installed Samsung Drivers on Windows 7
- I activated USB debugging on the cellphone
- Boot into "Download mode" (Home + On + Volume Down) --> Confirm with Volume Up
- Run Odin as Administrator and without Admin rights
- I plugged-in the cellphone via USB
- I clicked on the "AP" button and opened the "twrp-3.2.3-0-zeroflte.img.tar" & even the "twrp-3.1.0-0-zeroflte.img.tar"
- Default settings in Odin loaded
- I clicked on the "Start" button
- The process begins but after a few seconds the "FAIL!" message appears:
<ID:0/007> Odin engine v(ID:3.1301)..
<ID:0/007> File analysis..
<ID:0/007> Total Binary size: 24 M

Before crying ..... did you remember to unlock the bootloader in Developer Options? You wouldn't be the first one to do that (as I look into the mirror, remembering my failure to do so) If you don't have that option, download Samsung's CROM app from the Play Store to unlock it. There is also the "Flash lock" option toggle in Odin, although I have never tried it since it is un-necessary on a 920F.
Good Luck. Feel free to click "Thanks" if you find this useful.

Hey forumber2!
Sure, here it is:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-G920I
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
REACTIVATION LOCK: ON
Secure Download: Enabled
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 1 (0x0000)
RP SWREV: B: 4 K: 2 S: 2
Custom Binary(RECOVERY) Blocked By R/L
And after that is the "Downloading..." message and the "Do not turn off target".
Thanks for your help.
