Hi,
I have a galaxy s2 which can be connected to my TV through HDMI and I already have a cable for it. It works perfectly. I want to play my videos/pictures on galaxy s3 / nexus 7 that my family owns on the TV through the galaxy s2. How can I do it?
If your s3 and nexus 7 have mini HDMI ports on them, then you can just use a cable for the video.

I'm getting ready to upgrade from my iPhone 3GS, with the Samsung Galaxy S2 being at the top of my list. One reason for my choice is the OTG support on this phone, however, one of the Apps I intend to use (DSLR Controller) reports that the OTG is disabled in newer firmware. Anyone here know if this is the case with the S2 from AT&T, or have any more information about this issue?
My wife owns a Samsung i9000 and I have a Samsung i9300. We will obtain a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7'' P3113 next month. My initial idea was use it as a travel media player for my son, buying a car seat holder and a HDTV adapter. But I've readed P3113 has not TV out, so my questions are:
1) Is it possible tv out on P3xxx family via minijack-rca or usb-hdmi?
2) Is it possible to stream from the P3xxx to the i9000 or i9300 and then to a tv without a wifi router or 3G connection? I'm thinking in a hotel in a foreign country...
3) What is the "best" 7'' tablet with tv out?
Thanks in advance.

I have a 2014 Ford Focus with Sync with MyFord (not MyFord Touch). It support Applink that lets you connect phone applications to the car AV system. Unfortunately when I try to use applink on the car with my phone it says the phone isn't compatible. If you go to Ford's compatibility site here. It lists the LG Nexus 5 (D820) as "This device many not be compatible with SYNC AppLink". Now the weird thing is which phones are and aren't listed as compatible with AppLink:
Nexus 4: No
Nexus 5x: Yes (but no bluetooth audio)
Nexus 6: Yes
Samsung Galaxy S4 (SGH-I337): No
Samsung Galaxy S4 (SCH-I545): YES
Samsung Galaxy S4 (SCH-L720 with firmware L720VPUAMDL): No
Samsung Galaxy S4 (SCH-L720 with firmware L720VPUGOD2): Yes
Samsung Galaxy S5: No
Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport: Yes
Does anyone know what separates the phones than do and don't support Applink? Any ideas if there is a hack to get AppLink working on the Nexus 5?
Thanks

I have a spare LG Nexus 5 / or Samsung Galaxy S4 rooted and fully available and on happily ready for my next vacation in a resort in Mexico. I will bring it with my 12000 rechargeable battery.
As I can only have 1 wifi connection, I would like to use this phone as a bridge (with natting) to my 4 devices (ipad, my wife's phone and mine...) when I will be at the swiming pool of the resort.
In my room, I already have a Linksys E2500 that can do that job bridging the uplink at 5ghz and serving the 2.4ghz to my 4 devices.
What would you recommand ? is there an already project ?
Thanks

NO, you don't.
LG made the 2013 gen5 Nexus 5 (and 2012 gen4 Nexus 4).
Samsung made the gen3 2011 Galaxy Nexus.
So, what do you REALLY have?
