I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Fit Gt-SS5670 The media scanner keeps on running all the time in the notification bar and stucks at various %'s after every reboot since I have bought it. Tried changing my SD for about 15 times no of it helped . 2GB memoery cards dont give the problem any SD card higher than 2GB makes the media scanner carzy.My newly added media doesn't appear in the Music app nor my Gallery app. Samsung Service couldnt help me out of it . Please help :crying: any other ROM except for CM gives the same problem to my phone.

Backup phone & sd card. Then factory reset the phone along with SD card via Privacy Settings.

Problem Solved by changing values in buildprop
Finally ! checked buildprop statsthere media.stagefright was set to be false by default which was the reason for so.. :good::highfive:

You can only use about that much for storage. It's normal. Please change the prefix of this thread to [solved]

No....the other partition of your memory Is for the phones software files, Rom, and some other things. It's not true 16 gigs....all phones are like that even the iPhone. Any phone that has built in memory for storage is like this

It's about right. A part of it is allotted to system storage (ROM)
If you have Titanium backup it will show you how it's broken down.
If not use "Quick System Info" I don't have the HOS with me or I would tell yo exactly how it's broken down.
Off my head about 1.8 is for system (ROM) maybe 1.5 or so for internal storage
a little over 10 for sdcard.
Once we get s off well be able to partition and get abit more space

As others said you don't get to use that full 16GB. There really should be a marketing law so they can stop this sorta confusion. Kinda ripping us of here.

I wonder how could i let my device upload and sync specific images folder automatically?!
I have tried copying the images to camera folder but the copied images were not uploaded!!!

Go to Dropbox -> settings -> Turn On Camera Upload
Now Dropbox could sync all the photos in your camera folder..

You have to put all the photos you want to sync in the camera folder, you did it?
If yes, try to reinstall the app, and wipe the cache before reinstalling it!

Copying images to camera folder now working but definitely there is better way to auto upload whole images in the device

I'm having the exact same issue. Did anyone figure out how to get this resolved?
Here is Google Chrome Browser which is movable to SD Card. It takes only 7MB in internal storage. Rest all app is installed on SD card. This is for both root and NON ROOT users.

I am using galaxy tab 23100 with cwm recovery 6.0.2.7 installed. And pac rom 4.2.2 also installed. Previously i am having rom manager app by kaushik datta. But due to some reasons i uninstalled it. Now if i try to install it from play store or any other sources,it is saying insufficient storage available. But i am able to install any other app other than that. Plz help me i want to install that app

This can happen when the .odex file from a previous install remains in /data/app. I have used a file manager, "root explorer" to delete the file.

I had the same problem I had deleted Titanium Backup and tried to re install it but kept getting the popup saying insufficient storage available.
Sure enough I opened the data/app file and there was an odex file for TiBu and once I deleted it I was able to install TiBu no problem.

Hi manny I got a real problem
Firstly I am on dn3.1.1 rom and I flashed the contact.zip file
After phone reboots the contacts and call buttons disappeared from my phone
What should I do now
Should I flash the rom again !!!

Don't flash the whole rom again instead push the original apk in system/app.
