actually one of my customer brought a samsung i997
which was restarting on logo...i tried to enter recovery or download mode but i could not
as soon as i insert battery into it...it starts restarting on samsung logo i tried by inserting usb as well
but it restarts on battery bar so i looking for solution thanks?

If you put in battery pushing no buttons, does it go to samsung? That would be stuck power button.

yes it goes on samsung and keeps restarting i hav checked the power key no fault found

Have you tried plugging the cord into the phone, holding the up and down volume buttons then putting the battery in? If not try that :fingers-crossed:

i tried that but its in same condition
You have a faulty power button. If it boots as soon as you put the battery in, the button is "stuck on"

The power button was not stuck but it has a sort
after replacing it works fine thanxxxx for it...

I have a Samsung Fascinate that will not boot, i get a black screen with a cellphone a ! in a yellow triangle and a computers. The 3 button method will not get me into download or recovery! takeing out the battery and plugging into usb with the volume up button down doesnt work either. I tried plugging it into the computer but adb nor odin would detect it(yes i have the right drivers) please help ive hit a wall
Try plugging in with the battery out and the volume down button pressed until the download mode shows up. Btw may I ask how you got yourself into this mess?

as stated in the first post i have tried that method to get into download mode. and i got into this mess trying to get clockwork on the phone (did not install properly) and trying to put samsung fasinate (verison) rom on it... oops lol?
Actually in OP it says you pressed the volume up button. Volume down is what gets you into download mode.

Found the solution that worked for me. I had to plug in the usb hold volume down then pop in the battery to get it to go into download mode.
Ohh usually it goes with the battery popped out.

That is how you get into download mode on the Verizon Fascinate. Why are there all these guesses all over the internet? That is how you do it.

Was trying to reimage this phone using Odin v1.3 a usb malfunction error message came up Ive been trying to use it to several computers since then, but the same message kept coming up and of course the odin could recognise the devise and i went up turn the phone on normally all i have is a black screen with a phone and yellow explanation and computer logos on the screen the explanation sign is in between the phone and computer logos and now I can not do anything with this phone...I think my only option is for somebody to help me to find some image that will run on the SD card instead of the USB port.

I was in download mode and in that i didnt know how to restart the phone. so i removed the battery and now my phone got stuck in a situation where i can see phone+pc with exclamation icon in the middle.
Please help me what to do it.
Hey don't worry. Even I got the same situation once. I removed my phone from Odin coz Odin did not start and was not responding. So when I pulled it out it showed me that sign. I tried removing the battery several times and last it came . Try it.

Guys finally the solution:
Simply remove the battery and the press volume down + home button then press the power button.
Try for some time and it will be back soon
Just connect you phone with pc and Odin will detect it...simple

Your phone is soft bricked. While you battery is in, press volume down+home key+power button. Then flash a stock firmware with doin then it will be fine...

I have a galaxy s GT-I9003 that is facing a boot loop, i tried factory resetting it but no luck. Then i was going to try to reflash it but the download mode now doesn't load ,when i am holding the volume down + power+home button it shows a black blank screen but nothing and if i remove my fingers it just boots normally shows the samsung logo and keeps rebooting. I tried volume up +power... and volume up + down+power... but nothing seems to work. I would appreciate some help with this issue.

Remove the battery. Insert the battery. Now do the steps you are trying.

Is your phone a brand new device? Have you ever mounted a custom rom on it? Because on some new slc device (like mine) download mode is "factory locked" and you have to enable it with adb. Look around for the correct guide.

download Android SDK platform-tools, or standlone adb toolkit, run:
$ adb reboot download
can't acess download mode
remove battery
press power button for 10 sec
wait for 5 min re-insert the battery
press vol. up + home+ power
Hey guys this is my first post, but anyway my samsung infuse 4g is in a boot loop. Ive tried cleaning it, replacing the battery, hitting it, but nothing seems to work. Im wondering if anyone knows a solution to my problem. It just flashes samsung logo and restarts, and NO I cannot put it into download or recovery mode. Thanks for all the help.:cyclops:
If you can definitely not put it into download mode or recovery then I think you need a JTAG. But are you sure you are doing it right?

Mine did the same thing and it was a sticking power button. What you need to do is open the phone and use some compressed air to clean the power button. Also, while you are doing this, you need to hit the power button repeatedly so that it will dislodge the gunk that is in there making it go through the power cycle.
So I have been unable to actually start up my tab for about a week now. When it's plugged into the wall, the charging screen flashes on and off continuously. When it's unplugged, it will flash the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0" screen on and off until the battery is dead.Holding the power button does nothing. When I've tried plugging it into my computer, it is recognized for 2 seconds, then not, 2 seconds, then not.How do I fix this??

Give us some info. What did you do to it before this happened? Root? Custom recovery? Other mods or scripts? Did you Google search to see if there's something on the net that might give an explanation? Anything you might have done just before it quit turning on would be excellent.

Since you can get into download mode, have you tried downloading the stock ROM and reflashing it through Odin? Don't worry about root at this point.
