Hey, can you confirm that robotic voice fixed on wcdma networks? I mean really confirm Because derefas said that he's sense 4a is based on gsm only desire c firmware, and there is different firmware for cdma phones, he said that to fix robotic voice cdma firmware should be ported from the scratch. So I wonder is it really fixed in your rom, I've just made full setup of stock yesterday, linked ext 2nd partition, used scripts and it took quite a long time to make this setup, but I'm okay to drop it all for working sense 4a with robo voice fixed, so mate please let me know. Have you tried voice on wcdma only network? I'm really confused now

i just flashed this rom just now dont see any prob as of now
i seem to have around 600MB+ on phone storage after installing my contacts

Man! This is so frustrating...everytime I try to downloaD some app in playstore, it says package file invalid.
It has happened repeatedly. I flashed Rom 4 times. First 2 apps install well then rest give error.
After that, even when I tried to install whatsapp from titanium backup, it says app not installed.
Please look into this and give a solution as fast as possible.otherwise. the Rom is fine, but this makes me wanna switch man.
So did anyone tried cdma network, is robo voice really fixed? Any confirmation? Please reply

Let me begin by saying how popular the HTC Explorer (codename Pico) is. Almost anyone who wants a budget smartphone has one. Its simply the best phone out there in the price range. Even the hardware specs aren't that bad. It is very much capable of running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, although unofficially an unofficially ported version of Cyanogenmod 9.1.
Cyanogenmod 9.1 on an mdpi device such as the Explorer poses some problems/bugs caused due to scaling down of the graphics. One such problem is the caller id screen where by default, it is displayed as shown below in the attachments.
As you can see the caller picture is cut off by half and looks really ugly. I have developed a fix for this and now the caller id will display the full contact picture as shown in the picture.
v2.1 changelog (see attached image)
Added Enable status bar option during calls (Useful to check messages or other notifications during call).
Added Disable lights out option (Does not turn off light when near proximity sensor).
Added Exit to home on end call option (Disable going to call log after every call).
Download:

Download the zip file above.
Copy it to a folder on your SD card.
Reboot into recovery.
Toggle signature verification off if necessary.
Choose the option install zip from recovery.
Browse to the zip you downloaded and select install.
Reboot.
Manual installation:
Using a root file explorer delete Phone.apk in /system/app directory
Extract contents of the zip file you downloaded and find the Phone.apk file (modded).
Paste in /system/app
Set permissions as -rw -r -r
Reboot.
Development discontinued. But mod still works.

You should delete the existing phone. Apk which will free some space then paste the new.

Well, you can try the following.
1. Try flashing the v2.1 zip. Updated in first post.
or
2. Make sure there is no unwanted apps in system other than cm9 ones. then try both flash and manual. In manual, once deleted the Phone.apk, restart and then paste the new phone.apk
or
3. Make the latest lirakoa install in this order. wipe everything (factory reset), go to mounts and storage and format /boot and /system, install lirakoa zip, install gapps, install google now (i usually use it but its ur choice), install v2.1 Phonemod, restart. Then you can install ungaze or int2ext (I prefer s2e as its safe) and then restore form titanium backup all your user apps.
Just flashed and it works great! However, I get a FC on selecting "Dialpad Settings", otherwise its perfect. Im running Evervolv ICS ROM.

Must be an Evervolv issue as it didnt originally have the dialpad settings but cm9 had. Cant test as i dont use evervolv

I'm glad you liked it and happy to hear it works on your device. However, I am sorry cuz that isn't possible. That screen cannot be made transparent as far as I know.. The customizable screens are dialpad only.

I tested it on my Explorer, and packed it in one zip. Once more, IT'S NOT MY WORK JUST MY REPACK
Included:

- Analog Clock Widget
- Wallpapers (in extras/wallpapers)

keyboard and camera panorama are not working fine ... after selecting options in keyboard phone stuck and panorama is showing just different colors in pixels ...

Can't wait to get 4.2 on my N7. Glad to see Google isn't giving 4.2 a new name cause it seems people just always want the latest named Android, no matter what version it is...

I suggest removing the ripped clock widget and adding the new Clock apk instead. It includes the clock widget and the new redesigned desk clock with stopwatch and timer.

yeah, i am happy to see your initiative, just for a suggestion, why dont u use CM10 beta # 3 as base? Currently i am using it on my pico and its greatly stable

for me mobile data is damn unstable on cm10 bro so using cm9 only
ofcourse we can use cm10 as base i havent done any modifications relevant to operating system its just a bunch of apps and some edits and themes

yeah sure buddy... i am also facing a bit of mobile data problem but that i observed is for some particular connections only... my docomo and aircel are running fine... but a bit issues with reliance and airtel...
anyways no off topic drifting, coming to the point, WP for PICO is coming!!! hell yeah!!!

yes but having a full pledged modded rom is better than having to go for paid apps to get full functionality hence we are delaying the release of the Modded Rom to give u the best of the Windows Mod Launcher:highfive:

Guys just try this tweak by flashing once and I guarantee that you ll experience that so called buttery smoothness both in apps as well as games. This collection of tweaks contains all the required stuff so that u don't have apply each tweak separately.
Recommended that no tweaks are applied before. Uninstall seeder if u have installed. Entropy values should not have been modified.
Just download the tweak and flash it in the recovery. You must have at least 10mb according to the developer. I recommend u to delete some useless stuff like Apollo, android keyboard,etc. U can install those stuff like normal apks.
If you want to verify that the tweaks are working just open terminal emulator and type:
Su
Directinject
Set the min free values according to how u deal with apps by typing:
Su
Rambooster
Type the following in the same to achieve zero lag in the ui:
Su
Entro
That's it! Experience real working tweak!
Tested on cm9 build 9, cm10.1 beta1.

If you are trying to use this tweak on phones with overclocked kernels, just copy all the stuff from system folder to the respective folders in your phone and set the permissions(check all the boxes using root explorer). Use 600mhz while transferring stuff into system partition. Use any root apps to clear dalvik cache.

There's no relation between these tweaks and WiFi. Flash a better kernel or rebooting solves the Wi-Fi bug. If you are using cm10.1 b3 then WiFi hotspot won't work.

Yeah. It does work. What kinda questions are u guys asking??? There is no relation between the kernel and the tweak above. The bugs if present is are inherited by rom and kernel.

It does work on every rom built for any kind of android phone with init.d support (all of custom Roms have it).

In simple words u just don't know how to flash.
Like I said around 10mb must be free according to developer. But the quality of the recoveries we use just won't fill the memory completely. So delete all the unwanted stuff like wallpaper apks, media files, boot animation, unwanted language packs, etc. Just make the ROM look slim. Flash it. If it boots then flash gapps. If it is flashed properly, then flash that kernel. If your phone works correctly without any apps force closing, then reboot to recovery and flash the stuff.
U can install all those stuff u deleted later. @everyone just don't post stuff like ROM not booting, etc,etc. First confirm whether the rom is booted and then flash this stuff.

Do you kidding me? I am not a st*p*d noob xD... The ROM has 50 MB of free space, so this isn't the problem. The ROM and kernel work perfect, mean that must be the SD card or these scripts or both...
