Hey xda, here's a little project I have been working on recently. I am the type that forgets stuff easily, so "todo" lists are a godsend. However, I am frustrated by how slow the process is to create a new reminder, so I decided to make my own.
Notable allows you to create notification reminders on the go. Need to remind yourself of something to do? Just open the app, type in a short message, and create the note! It's that easy! You can see your reminders and notes straight from your notification area.
Notable is designed with speed and simplicity in mind. No need to go back to home screen and launch the app to create a reminder, just open the notifications, click the shortcut, and create away! Best of all, Notable runs in an overlay so you don't need to quit what you are doing beforehand. Notify is also ad-free and lightweight on your phone.
Quick feature rundown:
-Multi-line reminders
-Different color flags (icons)
-Option to turn a quick shortcut on and off in the settings
-Design inspired from the Holo / Google Now cards
-Click to dismiss the notification
-Restore previous reminders after a reboot
-(Android 4.1+) Edit notifications
-(Soon) Sync with Google Tasks
Get it here!
Very nice! Been looking for something like this.
simple and useful
thx
Thanks for the comments guys. Any ideas for new features that could be useful?
Would appreciate any feedback.

Just beamed over a new version(0.6) to allow swipe-to-remove notifications!
great work man, just wait 0.6 cause i don't like the standing notification
Looks great. Only thing I see as an improvement is option to hide the Persistent "add reminder" and maybe add timestamps.

The add shortcut can be removed in the options. as for the timestamps I think the app do keep track of it, but it could be improved, yes.

Really nice app! I've been really enjoying using it the past 2 days. One suggestion: is it possible for the app to appear in share menus? I'd love to highlight some text in Gmail or Messaging and send it right to Notable.

wow nice app keep up the good work
Looks cool and AWESOME I am going to make a few requests . 1 thing that annoys me is the "Add Reminder" notification if possible can you implement add new note to the only expanded or the first expanded. 2 It would be nice to have folders or a profile toggle inside the app that lets you choose between your "work" "home" "school" or whatever to show in the notification bar and not the other profile. 3 We all love widgets. Keep up your work
Very nice app.Handy and fast :good: I would love to have the ability to change the reminder icons with some custom ones
I am also available for Greek Translation if you want
Thank a lot for your app, Very useful and nice looking .
It's exactly what I was looking for ! I'm waiting for syncing with Google...
If you need french translation, I'm your man !

Yep, weather information would be awesome.
But after all, its supposed to be a clock widget, not something like Beautiful Widgets or Fancy Widget.
The editor by the way is absolutely awesome! great freedom of customization and aligning. Never saw something like that before
And yeah, more Widget Sizes would be muuuuch appreciated!
Testing now, looks promising though! Do you think you could add, if not already there and I can't find it, a vertical option as well?
Kinda tedious to use tuning option. Suggestion would be to be able to drag parts with your finger then use tuning for fine adjustments. Love the widget keep it up.
EDIT: and a left, center and right justify option

Sorry, I was at work and only had a minute to post. What I meant was that I think it would be good for you to add a vertical text option. I posted my lockscreen to show you what I mean. If your trying to give the app a lot of flexibility, that option would add to its appeal.

Hope to see feature apps by you.

Hi All,
Thanks all for your feedback.....
New updates will be there on market.
I will mimic complete WP7 experience with this app, even i would like to see how it will look like on Android.
Trying to implement Voice Actions just like WP7 messaging has in my another app POPUP 7.
Once it is done will try to implement same here also.
One with ads and one without ads versions will be soon on market.

SF Launcher Is a Google Now Inspired Launcher For Your Android Device..
As you can see from the images, the higher section of the launcher presents your usual, quick-reference information such as time and date, as well as a graphic of a the San Francisco / London / generic Google Now skyline which changes depending on the time of day.
Underneath that, you get the widgets section, and adding / removing widget cards is a piece of cake. You simply tap on the "Add…" button, and by swiping across, you can also conveniently switch widget cards. A long press of a widget brings about the option for you to remove it, and while one cannot yet rearrange them, said functionality is, according to the developer, forthcoming.
The developer seems pretty keen to move onwards and upwards, but of course needs the help of users, so by downloading and submitting bug reports you can help turn SF launcher into one of the very best available on Android.

You're right, apparently theres no actual search option buuuuut if you go to categories then decoration and scroll until you find the one on the right hand side of this screenshot. Of course it might not be on the right hand side when you look but you should find it eventually.

Damn this is great. Thank you for the find. I can't wait until they "smooth out the edges." Will be using again!

What a strange and cool idea for a launcher, I'm having a lot of fun with this right now. Here's to hoping that it gets some tweaks soon to smooth out the UI a bit.

Hi guys,
I work at Everything.me and it's great to see you like out beta so far
We intend to polish the UI and improve performance and functionality.
Are there specific things you would like to see in the next updates?
A few popular suggestions we got are adding folders to the app drawer, scrollable dock, unread badges for app icons and adding sound to search (we only did that in the video ) .
Pretty clever concept.
have yet to download it to see how well it works.

It'd be nice if the image/wallpaper that pops up when you search would be changed randomly.
Not just the same pic all the time.
Like if you search beyonce, it'll show different images of her in the background every time .
Oh and also more options;
- Enable/disable scrolling of wallpaper.
- Choose # of grids (icons in home and app drawer)
Basically most other options you'd find in a typical launcher..
Thanks!
