[Q] Booting up problems - HTC One S

So after months of trying I finally got CM10 flashed on my HTC One S. Now I have one problem. If I turn off my phone and turn it back on it just stays on the boot animation. To fix this, I always have to flash the boot.img of CM10 in order to boot it up correctly. So now I can't turn my phone off because of that issue and I don't want to keep flashing the boot.img. I used TWRP to flash it which went great. My hboot version is 1.14.0004. So can you please help me?

I rooted my phone and installed a rom without s off.

I rooted my phone and installed cyanogen mod 9 without s off. My phone was stuck in boot loop so i panicked and just clicked on flash new kernel on Mr. Hansoon's htc one x kit so now my phone is stuck at the htc screen at startup. Is my phone completly broken or is there anyway I can fix this.
-I also didn't backup my phone.

[Q] Stuck on CM startup ring

Just unocked, rooted etc my one s. Installed CM10 and gapps. Rebooted from recovery and its just stuck on the greenish CyanogenMod startup ring. Been spinning for about 10 minutes. How long should it take? Should I do something? I don't want to reboot it or anything and screw anything up without checking with you guys first. What do I do?
Thanks,
Kevin
OK so i shut it down and rebooted it to bootloader screen. From what I've found, I need to take the hboot file from the rom and fastboot it to replace the existing one on my phone.
Currently my hboot is 1.14.0005

Bootloop?

Hi people, I've been searching in the forum but I couldn't find a solution for my problem. The fact is that I was trying to flash a new recovery because I wanted to try TWRP, so I did that thing with the All in One tool. The problem comes when I try to go into recovery. The phone shows me the recovery logo and then it turns down. From that moment my phone can't boot as normally and it stays stucked in the HTC logo, sometimes it boots normally, but after ten seconds it reboots itself. What could I do? I've tried to flash different recoveries and versions and no one is working. Please, help me 'caus I'm ****ed up!! T-T

Did you flash a custom rom? if so fastboot the boot.img using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1604677. If you didn't I would relock the bootloader and run a ruu.

Hook phone to PC and format the whole thing re install twrp through fast boot pick a custom ROM flash boot.IMG through fast boot.. Then flash the ROM reboot.. Make sure you wipe both caches in recovery at the very end.. Problem solved..

[Q] S-Off Boot Loop/Crashing on boot

Hey everyone. I just did the S-Off and everything went fine except for the boot loop issue using a 4.1.x based rom in which I had CM10 installed. I installed CM10.1 (4.2.2) and booted up fine. I then tried to install the KingKang rom and it started bootlooping again. So per the usual I held down power and vol down to get to the bootloader to get back to TWRP and now it wouldnt turn on. I went to plug it in and then it went to the HTC white logo with red warning and shut off immediately. Couldnt get the charge light or anything and still no normal boot, bootloader, or download mode. Any ideas?

HBOOT 1.14
Bootloader Unlocked and S-Off
Resolved. Throwing the phone at the wall must've jarred the battery and was able to get to recovery via bootloader. Weird...

As for the HTC logo bootloop after s-off, has anyone had this problem as well and/or found a fix?

first custom rom i installed after s-off was ICJ and it gave me alot of hell even got qhsusb_dload once i wiped and flash cm10.1 and that has been fine. not sure if s-off had anything to do with it since i never flashed ICJ beforehand.
Yeah I think I'm done with flashing roms etc. until all the problems are worked out. All I can get to work without looping is CM10.1 and CleanRom 5.1.
im owned hahaha i have s-off and i can get into fastboot but not into recovery, tried to flash twrp but still wont boot into recovery, and i cant boot normally, starts booting and i hear the booting sound but it just gets stuck at the htc quietly brillant white screen, after a while just reboots and gets stuck again.

[Q] Problems flashing boot.img

I found myself needing a backup phone so I dusted off my old HTC Inspire that has been put up for years. To make it more useful I wanted to put CM7 on it. I got the bootloader unlocked and clockwork recovery installed and flashed CM7 and GAPPS. My issue is that any time I power the phone it locks up on a white screen with the HTC logo and requires me to manually flash boot.img again to get my phone booted in CM7. Anybody have any ideas? Why would I have to flash boot.img every time I power or reboot my phone? Please help.
