Hi,
After flashing BAKED BlackBean 7 I'm stuck in a bootloop. Is there anything special I need to do? Nothing I do seems to work.
I've installed the latest version of TWRP, I've tried dropping the Camera fix into the rom but that makes no difference.
Coming from ViperOneS 2.0.0, not sure if that makes a difference.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2113254
Thanks
Would post in the rom thread but I don't have permission.

Ya you have to fastboot the boot.img.
Ok, I'm sure I've done that as well but I may have done it wrong.
Which boot.img? The img from the Rom or the camera fix. I'm not a home otherwise I'd just try.
Thanks!

If you using the camera fix then use that one.
Thanks, got it working.

I have an Optimus One, and I have tried to put an ICS ROM on it, but it always gets stuck while booting up, and I can't boot into recovery either. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Did you flash the right ROM for your phone? Did you do a full wipe?

I'm not entirely sure what I did, but I was finally able to get into recovery, so I now have a version of CM9 running properly with a Google apps package added on. Thanks for the suggestion, though

Pretty sure you're right. When I ran 1.84 stock, even rooted, debloated with CWR, no message. Once I installed a ROM with modified kernel, it appeared.
This has been covered many times, just search. If everything is stock (ROM, recovery, etc) then you will not get it. Stock kernel + TWRP recovery means when you boot into recovery you will get it because it is not stock. Get it?
Sorry I forgot to mention it's not just happening when boot into recovery, it happens everytime I turn the phone on normally

Well custom ROM + modded stock kernel or any other kernel = the text. It's nothing go worry about, I don't understand why everyone is freaking out about it

Are you sure?
I think it's only due to the kernel because i had trickdroid with stock kernel and it didn't show the message, when i changed the kernel (not the rom) the message appeared.
I may be wrong of course

No, you're right. torxx is using the stock kernel on TrickDroid 7.0 and 7.1. As long as htc won't publish the sources for its Android 4.04 kernel, there will be no alternative kernels. So besides booting into recovery there won't be any messages using the stock kernel.

Trust me, I know the feeling. I was like this when I first hour my phone no worries mate!
@others who posted - correct. Torxx uses the stock kernel. Stock kernel means no message TWRP recovery means message because it isn't stock.

Check your kernel version. If it's the same, there is possibly not much you can do about.
Most recent update of my issue
I have flashed the newest ruu (3 uk) downloaded from the ruu collection post and got rid of the message. I also rooted and installed custom recovery on my phone and the message still did not appear
I attached a screen shot of my software info
Btw I tried to flash trick droid 7.1 (without flashing the boot.img)after done this, the message did not appear however my phone is stuck with a boot loop just after the boot sound (and no boot animation). The last time I installed trickdroid I flashed boot.img and everything went fine however I got the development only message, so I suppose the issue is with the the kernel in the boot.IMG I flashed last te when I installed trickdroid
If trick droid is based on stock kernel how come I can't get it to work on my stock phone? (rooted and custom recovery installed)

It's based off the 2.21 Euro release. If you installed any other RUU, you need to flash the boot.img either via fastboot or TWRP. This may result in the development message again (not sure what ROM gave me the message, but it was still there on TD 7.1)
I have the same kernel version as in the image rootrider posted in post #13, but I always have the red text on every boot.
What may make the difference, is whether the boot image is signed. The boot image from a RUU is signed. I bet the boot image from torxx is not.

Hey everyone I've been flashing different ROMs trying to fox this problem but nothing seems to help. My phone gets the black screen and random reboots probably every 20 mins or so. Its pissing me off bad! Wiped everything possible 3x before I flash any ROM jb/ics and even dark side wipe 3x too and nothing helps. It still does it. I'm almost to the point of throwing this thing against the wall and using some pos go phone lol. Can someone please help me! Thanks

Without knowing what ROM you're using no one can help you. Random reboots still happen in Jellybean but they aren't every 20 minutes. Download the stable CM9 for your phone and try installing that. If you still get random reboots you have either a defective phone (not likely) or you're doing something wrong.
I'm on orthus one and it happens to me one literally every ROM I try including the stable cm9. Idk what I'd be doing wrong. I'm on sk8s latest recovery if that helps. Should I just odin back to stock and go from there?

What was your original ROM? Are you coming straight from stock ICS to the customized ROMs or are you coming from an older android version?

Make sure you're on a higher version of CWM or get on TWRP, the recovery may have had a lot to do with it

I'm running Liquid rc1 v2 myself - it's buttah smooth! Check out TWRP recovery - it's a must for flashaholics. You can download the goo manager from playstore and install the recovery or flashable version available in dev section. Try it and you'll be hooked.
So I've been looking for a fix w/ my problem and haven't come across anything that works.
I installed CM 10.1 6/30 nightly. Phone worked great...but then all of a sudden my phone has stopped working.
I Odin'd back to stock...but my camera is still failing. I'm back at MF1 now...but I'm just trying to find a fix to get my camera working again.
Anyone have any info that could possibly help me out?
Thanks

that should be it if not just copy paste it. its a little down the line and it has all 4 carriers.
big red is in green and make sure you get the touchwiz JB 4.1.1 and 4.1.2 download
install:
1) flash your rom and get it started
2) Back to recovery and flash KT747
3) After it install stay in recovery and wipe dalvik and cache
4) Fix Permissions
all of this at the same time you flash kt747
hope it works
Flash any kernel that has been updated to md3 source and up, just so you aren't just left with Ktoonsez as your only option, Lean kernel also works.
