Where are the roms

Came from a G2 that had lots of rom options. Thought this phone had better rom support. I've s off, androoted. Not finding any roms worth flashing or that work completely.

Did you look in the dev section? Not finding any roms huh? I guess you aren't looking then.

Kindly point me to something that has everything working. Since I guess I'm not looking.

Thanks for posting half working or stock roms, it was real useful. No wonder this phone doesnthave near the developement as other phones. Roms that work completely and aren't betas would be great. Why is everyone being so difficult ?

because you found the general section but not a rom :/

You've just about overstayed your welcome here. Post something nice, or don't post at all. And if you want to leave our device, PLEASE let me show you the door.
There are some great roms here and the dev action is amazing. You don't like it, LEAVE!

Never said I didn't find a rom. I don't find any that are not in some way broke. Hence the reason asking for roms worth flashing. So far everyone points to betas or stock. I'm on stock. Don't you think I was in dev section to have got s off, root and unlocked boot loader?

I think I know what he means, he wants to know why our dev section isn't absolutlely over crowded with 15 of the same base ROMS with different tweaks or a different devs name on it. And the answer is the devs are giving us everything they CAN, and if you feel development is lacking blue did one hell of a job on writing up a dev reference guide so feel free to pitch in and start developing if its not to much to ask? otherwise ill just look at you like another end user who only uses xda to better his/her device and does nothing to further development

Seriosly, I don't think we need a new thread for a question like this. Just browse around and look at the features of each ROM and what interests you. Flash them yourself and decide what you like, not what others use.

Then you have come to the wrong forum. This is the place for people to experiment and learn, not to be spoon fed even the decision on what ROM to flash. Since you give no criteria, I would say CM10 is your choice as there is less likelihood of issues which would cause you to make more threads like this.
These guys are correct--
To many opinion threads. Opinions are like "****oles" everyone has one.
The real issue is these roms work differently for different folks.
The rom that someone or several people say has issues, may be the perfect one for you.
The OP gives all the needed features/info, so try what sounds good for you--

[Q] New update to Jelly bean and HTC one S

Can anyone help? I have downloaded a new update to the HTC One S which is the new Sense 4.1 and the jelly bean update. Now I tried to install but
kept rebooting me into bootloader. I tried to Root my phone once and managed to unlock my bootloader but wasnt able to install a working recovery on my phone so I just relocked the bootloader. So What Im looking to do is either to find someone to help me root my phone by helping unlock my relocked bootloader and help me to fully root my phone and to install a new rom or to help me install the new update on my One S.
My Device is an S3 chipset. I think ofcourse, as my Cpu runs to up to 1.7 mhz... Can anyone help me do one or the other?
Lollll. This is a funny post. Have fun getting flamed man. I hope you get burned.

Moved To Q&A And Cleaned.
OK the OP made a mistake, but really some of the responses are just out of order. Its only a moderators job to resolve forum issues, so i ask all just to report and move on, it will be sorted.
So you are the first person on planet earth to recieve the jellybean ota? Lucky u

My advice for you is to go at a MobileServiceCenter and for aprox 15 euro you can get this job done. Also, for sure you don't have Jelly Bean, but just the last version of 4.0.4. ICS with 4.1 Sense for S3 One S.

[Q] [noob] Best Rom?

Hi, mitchel0 here
I just recently got my first android phone, the at&t USA HOX. Since A root exploit was just found, and I really want jellybean, I was wondering what the current best rom for this phone is. I have no prior experience in android and am a noob. I am looking for functionality, stability, compatibility, and battery life, so please recommend me what the current best is. Thanks!
P.S do i need to flash a radio, or do roms come with those? If I do, what radio? Thanks!
If you rooted from 2.20 you can't flash a radio.
There is no "best" Rom. Go flash and experiment
Best rom threads are against the rules as wellm

CM10 is great. However, h8rift, the developer, is doing a lot of work to the kernel right now, so it will be 1000x better soon. :highfive:

ROM selection is a personal preference. What works for one person, may not for another. Because of this, "best rom" threads really serve no.purposem The best way to find out what ROM will work for you, is to research, flash, and experiment.

That's up to the moderators, and I don't think they can divulge that kird if information.

Mod said temporarily. How long is that? Those people on the ROM would like to know if it going to be shutdown or if development will continue. Is there ANY information available of the issue?
Sun Dream had his account banned and has stated that he will not be returning to XDA. There are multiple other options available if you want a Sense 5 ROM.

Yes it turns out that it was. Sun_Dream himself had stated in a post (that was subsequently deleted by moderators for other reasons) that he wouldn't be returning to XDA. I guess he changed his mind.
