Anyone receive ICS FOTA?

Like my title, whose Sensation / XE already receive ICS FOTA ?because i saw some forum post the HTC official Europe ICS RUU for public download, i suspect that is fake official RUU.

The posted RUUs are leaked. They were built by HTC.

Not fake, im using it atm, runs perfectly

That's old news (beta). I think they were talking about a new stable official RUU.

Just seen someone comment about a new ota earlier on Google+. Could happen.

There is a finished ICS, and some HTC employees are using it, I seen a Sensation XE running the final version today (see my other post in general)....now hopefully one of the devs contacts can get hold of a copy of it, well, we will be laughing

That can be found with the search button but iirc:
If you update the update will be downloaded but not installed
Then you have to boot in recovery and install updaet yourself

It means it is an XE rom.

Will I be able to receive OTA updates (from HTC) and install them, after I have flashed this RUU?
I get the new firmware (3.24) right?

If you want OTA updates, flash the RUU specific to your carrier.

Hi solar, test roms usually won't get ota updates. This is still a beta release.

no, as this is a test rom there are no ota`s.
you can always flash your old ruu (1.7x) to get back to stock and then receive ota`s when the officiel ruu is released.

Well, actually my idea was to flash a RUU (ICS) so I'll get as stock as possible and then be able to get OTA updates so I'll be fine for the next months.
But I guess that won't work.

I guess you have to wait for the official release
The stock rom is pretty much loaded with bloatware by the way.

I dont think 2.3x is anything special. This is just the 4.1 update for Vodafone Germany.
Just to throw it out there, Vodafone France and Orange UK are supposed to be on 2.34 going by HTCDev.
This also means the One XL is perhaps alive and well(aka selling) in France and UK now, adding a few more large/key regions to the mix.
Baseband is barely a higher build than 2.29 was.

I think niceppl was the lucky one with s-off out of the box. Should be the only one with s-off as far as I know...
If any one flashes this thing, or somehow manages to extract the rom.zip shoot me over a copy of the radio.img or post how you got it to extract properly.....
