First of all - if a team member of Team Chopsticks or Team Rook would like to hold this thread that's fine with me - just make a new one and this will be edited to nothing.
2/9/2013 - Official CM10.1 Preview 2
Download : http://www.teamchopsticks.org/p/cm101-release-notes2.html
Known Issues as of 2/7/2013
Whole-device encryption is not supported at this time
(AT&T only) "Use only 2G networks" option in Settings does not work
(AT&T only) Changing "Preferred network mode" in Settings does not work
Contacts on SIM card are not accessible
Changing call forwarding from this ROM is broken
MTP mode does not work on Linux or Mac - stick with USB mass storage for now
Video preview
Preview 2 fixes the following issues:
Fix: brightness slider did not take affect until lock/unlock of device
Fix: CPU spends most of time at 1512 and 384 && battery life is short (credit: cyanogen, who tuned the powerHAL)
UPDATE: As of 2/10/13 - Nightlies for the Skyrocket are available at http://get.cm
I will NOT be updating this OP with nightly changes; you can view those at http://changelog.bbqdroid.org/#skyrocket/cm10.1/next
I will however run a tally on which nightly I am running, as I will not have the time to flash a new one every day - so those people new to CM nightly system can be assured that I'm on a relatively stable one.
Currently on : Preview 2
Extra Tidbits
Photo sphere will not be released as part of this ROM due to proprietary issues, check for flashable zips.
Slide along the bottom when the notification drawer is down to access quick settings (for easier onehanded use)
CSCHMITT has 'On CM9/CM10 go into Mobile Network Settings -> Network Operators, then Search Networks (can take awhile), then manually select the network name, back out to the Mobile Network Settings menu at which point 'Use only 2G networks' and 'Network Mode' should now stick. One catch, you'll have to do this dance following each reboot and possibly after coming out of flight mode.'
If looking for a custom Kernel - car vs driver has one in the works I believe - please be patient
To enable developer settings - go to about phone and tap the build box 37.5 million times while holding your breath and it'll enable.
4.2 Gapps are available http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip there.
And finally, if you change your DPI, you break your play store - please google 'Multi DPI playstore' and you'll find one to install to get around this
FOR THEMES: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801752 (685 of them)
FINAL NOTE: Don't be an ass in this thread.
Thanks to Team Chopsticks and Steve Kondik (Cyanogen) who stepped in.
I'm not getting Picasa Web albums in the Gallery. Not sure if that's a ROM or a gapps issue.

Anyone else unable to send or receive mms pictures in GO SMS PRO? The stock one seems to work but no matter what options you play with the GO ones won't work. Any ideas? CM10 was working fine and it was a full restore from that copy.
Video Recording
Well I did a few tests with the video recording.
When I recorded with the phone in portrait all the recordings and previews have the green lines in the preview and playback.
When in landscape however, only the 1080p recordings and previews have the green lines.
Nonetheless, all of these are blurry when recording itself. The playback on the ones that do work come out perfectly fine.
Seems pretty awesome so far. I have noticed that it won't go into deep sleep, still working on figuring out why.
Anybody have a d/l mirror? My downloads keep stopping at 99%.

I got below result:
Portrait:
720p - recording and playback are fine in stock and MX player
1080p - recording fine but blurry and lines when playback on stock and MX player
Landscape:
720p - recording is blurry, playback in stock and MX player with green lines
1080p - same as above in 720p

Weather on the lockscreen question: How do you get this thing to stay on the lockscreen?
I set everything up in setting->Sytem->Clock widget->Weather panel.
But when I click the power button to get to the lockscreen it's not there. I have downswipe then swipe to the next screen to view it. At this point I've removed some of these extra screens so now all I have to do is downswipe, but can I get it just to be there on the initial lockscreen?
Not a big deal, just trying to figure this out.
Thanks!

Are you positive weather is enabled? That was my problem.
If it is remove everything from the lockscreen, then add the widget 'cLock' not 'Clock'. That should be it

Here is the first known working AOSP MMS with Emoji support, 160 character split, gesture support, full timestamps, etc.
All other MMS apk's seem to crash when sending/receiving MMS messages. This one has been tested working with Jellywiz (a JB TW based ROM). It should work with all ICS/JB TW ROM's, but I need your help to test others.
Instructions to install:
- Download file
- Make a backup of your TW mms.apk (this is usually named SecMMS.apk) by adding ".bak" without the quotes, at the end of the filename.
- Using your favorite file explorer with root capabilities, copy the Mms.apk into the /system/app folder.
- Change permissions (I didn't when I was testing, but you should anyway) as follows: rw-r--r--
- Reboot phone.
- WIN.
All credit for the file goes to beanstown106. This was an apk in his awesome Custom ROM builds. I simply had the good idea to extract it and see if I could get it working with any JB-based TW builds.
Update: Uber, the man with the theming hand, helped me get a themed version based on this file. It was still in testing because I noticed a few glitches when he went radio silent. So, I will release what he had until then for you guys. I tried themeing it further, but I'm nowhere near his level of talent. That being said, it's not perfect, but it's pretty good. Enjoy.
Without further ado, enjoy.
Tested working on:
Jellywiz RLS8

The pop up being the quick reply in the notification bar or a separate deal???? If youre referring to the former, that is a JB feature. Unfortunately, this is an ICS based mms, apk.

Works on Stock Rooted 4.0.4 TouchWiz
Has anyone found that adding a photo that you took vertically on the camera as an MMS only adds it as horizontally? The receiver confirmed receiving it horizontally as well. Using this on Stock Rooted TouchWiz VRALHE.

Happens with GoSMS as well, and if you plug your phone into your computer, the images you took vertically will display horizontally in the Windows photo viewer. I believe the pictures are all rotated the same way regardless of how you orient your phone for the picture, and then Samsung is using some kind of proprietary data attached to the image to tell apps what way to orient the photo. The problem is, only Samsung apps read this information.

You're right. I believe the main issue is the TouchWiz camera because I tested even CameraZoom app has the same issue but it most likely is tunnel through some TouchWiz framework to function so that's why. My guess is AOSP camera would work fine if only it was possible to get it working on a TouchWiz ROM however.
A few MMS apps work with emoji. Make sure you are rooted, push it to your system apps, and fix permissions. Reboot and done.

ALL CREDITS GO TO PARANOID-ANDROID TEAM! I DO NOT CLAIM THIS TO BE MY OWN WORK, I JUST MADE IT WORK FOR THE DOUBLESHOT.
This is an ongoing developer project to make way for a modification that will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the experience of your phone. I know you've seen tablet mode roms before, they change two lines in your build.prop file which you could easily edit yourself in seconds and maybe throw a keyboard in there to make it work better. It's a start, but this ain't enough. This thing has potential, but it is wasted the moment you try to stuff a full blown tablet into your poor phone. Yet we all know our high res phones can very well handle more than silly 1-column layouts. So the magic must be in between somewhere, a place that Google must have overlooked and left blank. Yes, this rom strives to drop your device into tablet mode, but it won't stop there, it will reshape and redefine JellyBean to make it all a useful addition and not just a cute novelty. we're calling it: Hybrid Mode, best of both worlds.

does anyone know the trick for making the secondary feature of the back button go away? in the pic, the down arrow is showing, as if I had the keyboard open with the option to minimize it. I have found that by going into my Wi-Fi connection and clicking on it, that the back icon is restored. however, once I lock the screen, it goes back to the secondary feature, the down button. I have tried changing settings, themes, I've shut the nav buttons off and rebooted, then restored, etc. nothing works.
Thanks for any help.

I'm running phone ui w/ nav buttons, is all. this has been set before I disable the hwkb, but I've tried it the other way. I've tried almost everything I can think of. hopefully you'll be able to see what the issue is, as I'm sure a a log cat wouldn't declare the issue, since there's technically nothing wrong.
EDIT: never mind. I didn't have the hwkb disabled. I knew I had it working once before. that fixed it, strapped.

Can you replicate it on the spot? I just set my nav buttons on but I'm on tabletUI ( which shouldnt matter ) and I'll see if I can replicate it. My first thought was because the KB issue we seem to be plagued with, but the only real way to tell would be fix the KB issue ( mattlowry has ideas ). Or just see if it will happen to me before the KB issue is resolved and depending on how and when it happens it could be narrowed down.
But I do have to ask, was a full wipe performed before flashing? And was anything restored with Titanium Backup?

AT&T owner here.
TWRP installed flawlessly. CleanROM 1.0 installed flawlessly and booted up just fine.
OP was not kidding, Factory Reset took about 5 minutes. Just be patient.
I'm happy to report TWRP did not nuke out my pictures on Factory Reset, like my Factory Reset via LG settings menu did the other night (sadpanda).
I really, really, really wish AT&T Ready2Go or whatever the hell that is was replaced with the Stock setup that triggers a proper App Backup/Restore process, but no big deal.
FYI, if you want street names back in Google Maps, change your Text-to-Speech to Pico TTS from LG TTS. Unfortunately, Pico TTS is not natural sounding, and there doesn't appear to be a way to sideload Google Text-to-Speech yet. I attempted ganking Maps/VoiceSearch from /system and installing them manually to get the Google Services directly, but it didn't help.
Thanks Scrosler! Runnin' just fine.
Looks like I lost the ability to change my lock screen wallpaper with Clean ROM, anyone else experiencing this?
I tried a clean re-install and got the same result, so I'm pretty sure maybe something might've been debloated that it hinged on...
Nope. Not here. Mine changes fine. Are you using a third party launcher?

There is actually a file that you can freeze that would cause this issue. I dont recall the specific name of it but its something like lockscreen settings. I had to edit the file to change out the wallpaper. But I cant recall the name.

I have this problem. I can switch to different stock wallpapers on my home screen, but I'm locked to a blue wallpaper for my lock screen. I'm kinda sad because I like using the stock papers for my lock screen.

I heard its running slow... Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesnt.
I have another server I can mirror on, AndroidFile Host, but its not as user friendly so I dont care to use it.
If they would give me shell acess to use wget I would do it. But alas...
Here we are with what we have...
No worries. Understood. I've downloaded enough files from goo to know it's "potential". It will eventually get the job done. Just happy for clean rom.

I have successfully ported IOAP to the Kindle Fire HD 7". In order for this to work your KFHD must already be rooted and have 2nd Bootloader & TWRP recovery installed. I used the Google Nexus (flo) version from Sourceforge to port and I couldn't have done it without the help of Prallday168.
I have not included any other mods or tweaks. Simply ported from one device to another.
Thanks to Hashcode for everything he has done with the KFHD, Prallday168 & South956 for their assistance and tips, MikeChops for motivating me, Jamison904, mrimp, all the Infamous Developers involved and everyone here.
Update 02/06/2014: I have made a 2nd PORT with Double Tap to Wake feature added. Everything else is the same. (CREDITS to jb2kred)
Update 02/12/2014: I have fixed the Bluetooth and changed the Boot Animation to "CMRingOfFire" by PartimusPrime, Also included the Double Tap 2 Wake, and the Xposed Framework Installer. Enjoy!

Thank you, I will look into fixing that.
Update: I flashed IOAP to my Samsung Galaxy S4 to see what the differences may be and if my issues were related to the ROM or my port and I found, the Galaxy S4 version is newer than this and it looks like they removed that option, all together. Som other things are taken out. I will have to wait for an update to (flo) before I can look into this more, I think but, maybe they removed it because they couldn't get it to function. Also, the Black UI is working on my phone so, I have to look into that more.
This rom is pretty fantastic so far despite the silly clown mask boot screen. Snappier and more responsive than Im used to from the latest cyanogen. I also recomend the Gapps with the custom font.

It's a great ROM and runs very smoothly on the KFHD 7. The masks are like the Infamous Developers logo. Like Cyanogen's "Andy". They make great ROMs. Plain and simple. Try it or don't, your choice.

Couple of quick issues. Any dpi other then 240 the side navigation bar disappears, and installing pretty downloaded apks, the install button is unclickable. Other then that great rom, lots of features, quick and snappy response times, and the Guy Fawkes masks sold it for me lol. Clean install coming from BsHarmony (great as well). Is anyone else having these issues?

In the build.prop, dpi is set to 213 which is standard for our tablets. I have not tried it at any other setting. As far as installing .apk's, I have had no issues. Have you gone into Settings -> Security and enabled "Unnown Sources" ?

PartimusPrime makes some great Bootanimations that you can easily use as a replacement to the mask, if you prefer. I like the "CMRingOfFire" especially for the KindleFire. The 800x800 download looks great. His second post on that thread tells you how to use it as a replacement.
Went back to 213 from 240 and navigation bar disappeared, unknown sources selected and verify apps test on setting and turned off. Selecting the apk, strolling till the word changes from next to install and it's not allowing me to click. Cancel button works but nothing else. I use ES Explorer, auto install to over come the issue and 240 isn't an issue much. (full screen quick settings sucks but oh well )

Change your LCD to either 240 or 320 dpi. I had the navigation bar disappears before when in landscape mode and this solves it.

Hmm, ok. I'm waiting on the next update to be uploaded. Maybe that will fix the problem you are having. I know mrimp said he is working on many bugs. I'm not sure exactly what they are but, it is buggy. I can't seem to get a logcat, somehow I borked it or something. lol
And, the issue you were having with the installer was what I was referring to when I said to do a clean install. I am unsure about the navigation bar thing.

About
CyanFox is a free, community built distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone and to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
This ROM was originally developed for Samsung Galaxy S2. I have successfully ported this ROM to Samsung Infuse with the help of CM 11.0 for Infuse 4G by scott.hart.bti.
I have been using this CyanFox Ported ROM on my Infuse for a while now, it is still working fine without any problems.

CyanFox team for developing this ROM Ofc.
And the most special thanks goes to scott.hart.bti for bringing CM 11 to Infuse 4G. Without the CM 11 ROM, I could not have ported this ROM. And without his help, we could have never received the KitKat update for our Infuses. Let's say that you guys MAYBE liked this ROM and MAYBE decided donate to the developer, than donate to Scott and CyanFox
I am not a developer or anything, I just understand this ROM concept a little so don't thank me or anything, all the thanks goes to them.

Just flashed the rom, running smoothly so far. This same thing has happened with other KK roms so it's not a big deal.
I'll make sure to let you know if I come across any bugs.

Yes it was made on January, I wrote on instructions that I've been using this ROM for a while. I made the Zip on January and been updating and fixing stuff till now (did not want to change the ZIP date because some apps are still not updated to last update). This ROM seems smooth and stable now, that is the reason I posted this ROM .
Thank you all for trying this ROM. I will keep on working on updates for this ROM. CyanFox team said that they are going to release their V3, I will try to port it too when it is released
And @bokonon9 Thanks :victory: let me know if you come across any other bugs.

I don't know much about the Russian letters in the dialer, can you explain a little more about what you meant?
About the Percentage, It totally works fine with me. I used it with the percentage for some time, did not occur that problem. But, I will look into this and see what I come across with.
Till then can you try this:
Change back "Battery status style" to Icon Portrait or anything you want except "Icon with percentage" and then tick the "Show battery status perc.." tick box and see?
I appreciate to see another dev...
Is there a benefit to this ROM? I keep trying ones and going back to cm... I guess what I'm asking is what is different?

I mean, I choose Russian as main language of the OS, and when I open the dialer I saw only english letters on number buttons, so, I can't apply quick search in phone book, because all contacts are written on my native language.

If your battery is going down this fast, look to see what is using so much power.
You should be able to reboot in to recovery, clear cache and dalvik cache then reboot - problem should be resolved.

The two culprits were cell standby and android os. My infuse doesn't have a SIM so I just put it on airplane mode with Wifi on. My phone was apparently awake because of Android OS for close to 15 hours. Talk about wakelocks.

Where it says "select runtime". Tap it and switch from dalvik to art. It will reboot and optimize all apps for art. That can take 5-10 minutes.
Still, I have not tried on this rom yet, so it may/may not work.
EDIT: Don't use art with the op listed gapps. They cannot support it. I will try some other gapps packages today that are known to be compatible with art.
