Hi guys, I have the following problem with my ICS android phone (MTK 6577 based). When I try to send a MMS message, it always fails. I have a working data connection and also APN settings are valid (I have received settingd for GPRS service and the second one for MMS service from my service provider Si.mobil Slovenia).
Any help?

i have a T-D1 brand software on my mda and have a e-plus card inside, so i can´t send SMS nor MMS. any idea how to change this?
I get a Fawlty Towers feeling here, so go to the phone settings -> services tab & get the settings for 'voice mail and sms' from the network. Compare these with the one's you got from e-plus. For MMS go to the connection settings & create a new gprs connection for MMS according to the e-plus values & use that one in your MMS app.

look up on google..
search for TMOBILE MMS configurator.. and u will select whatever unlocked phone u want.. and they will give u the settings

I spent a lot of time to resolve this problem. For sending and receiving MMS/Picture messages within US territory with T-mobile on Samsung i-780 you just need to set up MMS Client (because samsung provide not recognized MMS client for T-Mobile) Install ArcSoft MMS Composer following by the link: http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2008/05/27/arcsoft-mms-50317.html Just copy to flash card of your phone and start it. After Installation go to Messaging/Menu and you will see second "MMS option", enter all necessary properties and and it will resolve the problem with MMS sending/receiving. Good Luck.
i am facing this problem my gprs settings are working fine for opera mobile. but mms are not working i am not been able to send or recieve mms. i have manually configered my phone according to my service provider settings available. i am using touch pro on bsnl north network in india. if any body can help me with the settings also

I'm running the 8107 build on my unlocked v1.4 Samsung Focus.
For some reason, when I'm connected to WiFi, I'm unable to send MMS messages - when doing so, I receive a "Can't send message Try again" error.
If I disable WiFi at that point (revert to 3G) and try to resend the msg, it is sent without issue.
Whatdya' think?

Are you turning cellular data off and then going to wifi? You need cellular data on to send MMS. MMS can't be done over wifi.

Nope - phone just picks up the WiFi connection automatically (as it's been previously connected).
My wife has a non-unlocked v1.3 Focus, and she has no issues sending MMS when connected to the same WiFi network (?)
i have the same problem with my htc 7 pro. but i found out that it has nothing to do with wifi, the mms of wp7 are concepted only to use 3g and not wifi internet connection, it has something to do with the MMSC server where the messages come in from your device. and MMS and SMS look similar but are two different systems in message delivery.
an other way to send it over wifi is with an email to the recipient in this form [email protected] PTN is public telephone number and the carrier name is carrier specific... thats the only way sending over wifi/http.

On my newly acquired toy (gPhone i5) which is currently on the TMob US network I'm unable to send MMS messages. I know there is some specific settings called for by TMob. As I'm looking through the device settings I'm just unable to find where I can plug in the server address, IP address that is required for MMS to work. If you have been in a similar situation or have an idea how to resolve this issue please respond to this post. Thanks very much in advance
