I have a rooted transformer that wont boot (probably due me to replacing the build.prop file), i have a backup of the original file.
How can i access the internal storage so that i can replace the file in the system directory?
I can get to ClockworkMod Recovery but nothing in there will let me access the internal storage?

If you can get into CWM recovery, just flash the ROM again.
Also I have never tried it on the TF but in CWM there's a "mounts and storage", did you try that?
you can go through adb and move the files.
when mine wouldnt boot i ended up having to do the nvflash method in the dev section
although couldnt get my data off the the sd card as it has md5 mismatch so just started fresh with the nv flash
Hello. This post is related to the post about MIUI for Nexus One(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1479348)
Here are the install instructions:
"Place ROM zip file in your SD card
Boot into recovery
Create a backup
Factory reset device
Install zip from SD card
Reboot and enjoy!"
It doesn't say anything about blackrose, but the filename is "2.5.25-blackrose".
I tried to install that version on my phone with no success.
Do I need blackrose to install that version? Why exactly?
Do I have to resize any partitions? If yes, what sizes?
I just finished installing Maximus rom up to the part where I have to reflash the rom after firmware update. When I'm booted in android, I can copy the rom to my sdcard (I used "download" folder). However, when I get into recovery and click install, the only folder available on sdcard was "twrp". When I mounted the storage from twrp, Windows ask me to reformat my sdcard, but says only 50 megabytes is available. Can someone help me out please?
Side mount in twrp, copy ur stuff if you can and then format sdcard. and do a clean flash afterwards.Try that.

Something went wrong when flashing firmware. Make sure the hboot is 2.16 and make sure you have flash modified twrp from maximushd.

the partition for /sdcard is only 50mb the missing 12gb ar on a partition called /internal_sdcard

Which version of recovery are you using? Tried to switch to last version?
Okay, i did it now without sideload:
push rom to /data/media
somehow the partition for /data/media received 12gb
with twrp you can flash the rom from there, after the rom is installed you will have acces to the 12gb again when conecting the phone via USB cable

Any luck with that?
I am facing a really weird problem.
Initially, my HTC Desire S was running CM10.1 ROM, with sdcard 32GB FAT32 formatted. Recovery was CWM 5.0.2.0. I saw CM 12.1 Lollipop ROM for HTC saga, and decided to try it out. Recovery was updated to TWRP-saga-2.8.5.2-unofficial, and installed successfully CM12.1 The phone was lagging, and decided to revert back to CM10.1.
The sdcard was not detected in CM10.1, neither when recovery was reverted back to CWM 5.0.2.0. I also tried recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.1.5-saga and recovery-twrp-2.6.3.0-saga, none could mount the sdcard. I tried other sdcards (16GB and 8GB), formatting them using SDFormatter, checking using MiniTool Partition to make sure it's not set to logical. None could be detected.
But when I put back TWRP-saga-2.8.5.2-unofficial, all sdcards could be detected in recovery. I reinstalled CM12.1, it could also detect and use the sdcard.
It seems that installing recovery TWRP-saga-2.8.5.2-unofficial and/or upgrading to 12.1. had caused sdcard to be undetectable by earlier version of recovery and OS.
How can I fix this, and have my phone running CM10.1 again, with sdcard detected?
Try flashing 4ext recovery see if thats able to mount anything.
Theres a thread by me in Desire S General and its 4ext recovery as PG88IMG. Just extract the zip file and flash recovery.img via fastboot. (or just use the PG88IMG haha)

Nope, 4ext can't mount sdcard. It seems only TWRP-saga-2.8.5.2-unofficial recovery and CM12.1 can detect the sdcard.

Strange. U should ask the dev of twrp and or the rom dev to see if they know anything bout it.
Check ur sdcard for any recovery folder (twrp) and delete it then try flashing 4ext. There might be something in the folder f****** things up haha.

It happens also to newly formatted sdcards.
How do u format the sdcard? Coz if u format it using recovery then it doesnt delete the recovery folder. Anyway im out of ideas so best contact the dev see if they know why.
