Most stable aosp Rom? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I've used kingsbeat jb Rom, It always got stuck on the lockscreen. The touchscreen would work but it wouldn't unlock.. I'm using viper right now but really like the speed and other features of aosp.. any suggestions?

Cm10 since most other roms use it as a base

IN BEFORE THE LOCK
THESE ARE NOT allowed

I'm just going to save myself a bunch of typing and quote redpoint

Q's go in the "Q&A" subforum.
And "Best ROM" threads are frowned upon here. There is no good answer to this question, as everyone has different preferences and needs. Further, suggesting one ROM over another, is an insult to the devs, as it suggests that the other ROMs are somehow inferior (when its largely a matter of personal taste). These discussions often devolve into a popularity contest. And just because a ROM is popular, does not mean it will be the best for you.
Just look through the ROMs, pick a few to flash (with the features you want), and see what you like best.
The ROM threads usually indicate very clearly what works, and what doesn't. If not in the top post, just reading through the last few pages of the more recent responses to that thread will often answer your questions.

Questioning the utility to reorganize the threads on the forum???

Hello everyone.
That's my issue may not be the right place, but this is where I find the most relevant, since for this section.
I think for some time the number of threads are increasing enormously for new ROM, which is fine because it shows that the community is very active) but many of the Roma are found to be the same base or from ports of other devices, and there are so many with names that look alike or have nothing to do with the content (I will not name to avoid any controversy and stay in a general term) that we end by not knowing what exactly that is.
So I think it should be revamped a little with all that can be sub-sections by Dev ports or Roma, ways to try to eclaicir section and avoid ending up finally with questions about a thread that has nothing to do with this thread Rom.
That's what I feel for a very short time and I think it would be good for both dev and users of éclaicir things.
When do you think??
Arma, a user begins to consider warning from the time I practice android flash device.
This makes little to no sense, so can't really reply. Think youre essentially saying that maybe devs combine their different ROM releases into single threads?

Or subforums? So the DHD Dev subforum has a couple more subforums within it (one for ported ROMs, one for ROMS built on a native base)? That's how I read it anyway.
Sorry for my bad english (google translation), but yes I think it would be although it is organized by several sub-forums, for example, the ports of other phones, stock rom, rom MluI, or do that every dev its own sub-forums, and finally they are ideas, see what might appeal without being overly burdensome for devs who already have enough to do.
If someone else with ideas on how to build the threads?
The discussion is now open.
I think people would over see things and it would be a mess then a dev gets a new device and his sub forum is left behind and annoy like sticky threads

sub forms like : Sense Development, MIUI Development and Ported roms development would be super cool and better than just one single development section.
It takes me a roughly 15-20 mins just to find a thread here lol

I totally agree to that!!
Agreed. Either that, or we need someone to keep an updated sticky again. But a "Utilities" section, for radios, RILs, and recoveries would be a good idea also.

Why not just search, read or test for yourself? This question has been asked too many times by lazy people and is not funny any more :banghead:

I am going to be the good cop this time, ok Simon?
@ jebinio
If you are not worried about using ginger bread, then I would vote for Endymion. This thing is more stable and rock solid than most stock roms on any device. As a matter of fact, I'm still on 3.4 (latest is 3.5) and I swear I won't flash my d.s with anything else.

Absolutely fine mate. The OP should know better as he has been a member of the forum for long than me. However, out of 118 post he has started 24 new threads - none of which seem to have a single benefit to the community as a whole.
Just a quick list of some of the recent 'Best ROM' threads;-
[Q] Best Non Sense ROM
Best ROM for HD gaming
Stable ICS/JB ROMs?
Desire s fully working roms
JB ROM with HTC Sense?
[Q] What Rom is Smooth For Desire S.
Andromadus vs. Jellytime vs. PACman vs. Pure CM10
Best jelly bean radio ?
Best ICS ROM ?
Which is the most stable Jelly Bean Rom any idea?
And that is ONLY the ones marked with November - and if anyone ever frequents the top-level General or Q&A forums then they will know that "Which is the best ROM" threads are locked with 100% efficiency by the moderators as being against the rules of XDA.
The OP's question has been answered regularly by the good people hanging around here on multiple occasions and it is getting beyond a joke that people just can't be bothered to read or search. They take absolutely zero part in contributing to XDA as a whole and never attempt to help anybody else, but then feel they have the right to just come on and post whatever questions they want answered then and there because they are too lazy or impatient to actually look for themselves and they consistently post in the wrong part of the forum - General for a question?
I know I can sometimes be a grumpy sod, but I really do feel that our Moderators should start taking a slightly more pro-active stance with regards to the forums the are in charge of - maybe if people started finding their pointless/redundant threads deleted or locked they would actually start to follow the Rules of XDA and help themselves. The amount of times I find myself pointing out;-

is simply incredible.
I would never call you a grumpy old sod, and to be honest I'm not exactly the most knowledgeable person on here.however I do get your point even I'm beginning to think twice about putting in my tuppence worth in these threads, they pop up daily yet if most people just scrolled down half a dozen threads they would find an identical question.

15 seconds typing into the search engine or hours of your time plus mins or more of others to reply of course I'm exaggerating but time is the one thing you can't buy save every ones and use the search engine. I'm using viper saga 1.0 great rom seems very stable for ics
It's also very fast compared to my old one which mind you wasn't slow either. Very easy install process for apps and addons there included in the rom and you choose what to install first run. But other than that your best bet is to get some of the older more promanant ROMs, as there will be allot more known about certain problems.
Hope this helps

And this is crazy
OP've lost his interest
So close/trash me maybe?

[Q] What ROM should I use

I am looking for a Jelly Bean based rom to flash on my phone. Is there a rom that has many, if not all the features of Jelly Bean, including Google Now and the camera improvement? I understand everyone is going to have there opinion I simply want to see what people suggest. I also understand some people have had some issues with apps such as the camera, the battery, phone calls, etc so if there are any roms to suggest that are pretty stable in functionality that would be great.
Smh......

[Q] New to rooting

Hi, I'm planning on rooting this weekend when I have the time. I also plan to flash a custom rom. So, does anybody have any suggestions for a sense jelly bean rom? I've been eyeing viperxl, so any feedback on viper would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks.

Best rom threads are frowned upon. Try out the ones that you think will be best for you. Also, questions should go in Q&A. Glad to have new people, hope everything goes well for you.

[Q] I'm looking for a stable rom to try out

Hi
I am looking for recommendations for stable roms. Right now I'm running the ViperXL which is pretty stable I don't see much problems except some hiccups but it's overall a good rom. I wanted to see some opinions on other roms and if they are stable. I want to try a new rom
Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
Asking which ROM is best/most stable isn't allowed here. To say one is better is to infer that the others are inferior in some way, this isn't fair to the devs who put in a lot of work in their spare time to give us these ROMs free of charge. It's really up to you to do your research, check out a few ROMs, do some reading in the threads and you'll soon find out what bugs may or may not be present.

Its not like we have an overwhelming Nexus sized lot to choose from here. Test driving the great ROMs we are privileged to have is half the fun IMO. Ahhhh the day I achieved s-off.....
If you don't have time to get behind every wheel then just follow tim's course of action. Research. After thoroughly reading the OP of a ROM you are interested in, browse the last couple pages of the thread to bring yourself up to speed.

Yeah I agree, flashing different ROMs is half the fun. You're definitely gonna end up flashing something you don't like but another ROM is only ever another flash away. We do have some great active members here, reading the last five or ten pages of any thread usually gives a great snapshot of how the ROM is performing.

Agree with the above responses. Also, stability is largely a function of how you have your particular device setup, and how you as an individual use it. Your mileage can (and will) vary compared to others. So asking others for a "stable ROM" is not going to tell you much.
Asking for a ROM suggestion is also just lazy. Its easy to look though the ROMs and see what issues people have (or aren't) having. Pick a couple that look like they fit your needs and preferences, and flash away.
