Hey guys, I need the original stock ROM for my beloved L3. If you guys are thinking that I'm the one asking about the same thing in Yahoo answers, you are correct. Cyanogen9 and MIUI doesn't work nicely on my phone. The graphics aren't good, it's all dark and the texts are most of the time missing letters. Please help me out. I tried the KDZ Updater and it also doesn't work, it would even open.
I would greatly appreciate as much help as I can get.
Thanks

I have the same problem and I think my phone is a knock-off L3. The screen has a very bad quality.
I checked with IMEI.info, and my "L3" comes up as a Nokia!!!
***.imei.info/?imei=354851053307144
Can other LG L3 owners please tell us if your box says "Made in China" or "Made in Korea"?

I am at the same position over here!!
I tried so many different ROMs and none of them worked fine. I have problem with the graphics. I don't know what to do.
Please if anyone find a stable ROM share it here with us.
BTW my cellphone is "MADE IN CHINA"
do you mean it's better if I leave my phone L3 on the original rom it's more better .. ??
because I'm trying to root my phone E400F to change for Cyanogen9 ??
and you can try LG drivers and support tool for making recovery I think it will turn your phone back to original rom .. maybe !!
Hello, I have a problem. I had a cm9 rom. I don't like it. I flashed to stock V10D rom. Now screen is blured. I want to flash V10N, but I can't, because usb is not working. I think usb port is working, because when phone is turned off, plug charger in, then phone show lg logo and start rebooting. I think it's a rom problem. Phone is working. How can I flash stock rom?

Hi there!
I'm having a HUGE problem with my G2X, i accidentally flashed both the Optimus 2X Firmware and Baseband on my phone, and now the system is messed up (battery not registering, Screen not changing brightness, etc..) and also i get NO reception from my provider, Wind Mobile. I flashed the wrong firmware as Wind sells the G2X as the O2X, so i followed the wrong guides.
If anyone knows how i can get back to stock firmware and restore my baseband, please help me. I got the phone 2 days ago and i don't want it to become a fancy paperweight! Please help me!
Thanks for your time everyone.
I had the same problem like yours. here is a link. on 3rd page there should be a link on post # 21. It works for most of the people. try it. Let me know if it worked for you or not. good luck man. I know how it feels.

Awww. KDZ is like, level 5.
Whilst messing about with my phone earlier, I think I may have well and truly bricked it.
Its not turning on at all, so I cant get into recovery and when I try to use one of the 'unbricking' tutorials, I connect it to the computer (winxp) all I'm getting is it recognising the OMAP4430 but before I can do anything it goes and then comes back and goes again. I've managed to get the OMAP drivers installed but it still carries on showing up then going again... obviously if I cant get past that stage I cant restore it... Does anyone have any idea on how I might get it back up and running or is it a lost cause???
Almost same situation here. I went to LG Main here in the Philippines and they said it's a PCB issue and I need to wait for 30-45 days for the PCB to arrived
Same happened to me
I had that problem after trying to update to ICS. I tried some tutorials on internet, but no way. Finally, I sent it to repair, as it was on warranty.

Can you please send me the link, I have been searching for a fix for a while.
its the resurrection guide
HI all,
I am new to this forum.
i got factory unlocked samsung galaxy s2 hd lte i757m with android v4.1.1 from canada.
I am using this cell in INDIA.
I am experiencing some freeze and sometimes restarts almost daily in my first week of usage.
battery drains fast with just 1hour of wifi usage.
Also cell phone heatsup while charging
Samsung support says officialy jellybean is not been released to hd lte yet , so u might be facing the problem.
Guys does anyone has faced same issues?? please help
There is no official JB for the i757m yet - Samsung are right. The issues definitely sound ROM related, I would recommend rolling back to ICS as it's very stable for me, with good battery life. Also worth noting - your phone will always heat up while charging
Here is a thread relating to installing CWM on the i757m. Ignore that, under the 'Download' section (expand the hide tag) there's a Dev.host link to some files. Go into the Bell SGS2 HD LTE folder, grab Odin3_1.85.zip and in the Factory Images folder, grab 'Unzip Me Stock ICS'. Don't forget to click 'thanks' for dsixda in his thread.
Once you have both those files down, unzip the ROM to get a tar.md5 image, and use ODIN to flash. There are many ODIN tutorials on this site, I suggest reading a couple BEFORE doing anything, as this has the potential to brick your phone completely.
If you need further help after reading, I will be here. I have this phone, and have done this a few times
Good luck!
Justin
thanks Justin,
I am newbie to android and samsung

That's no problems, we don't actually use Kies to do anything, plus we are downloading the ROM ourselves. I have done the same thing from Australia, so I don't think that India should be a worry
If you follow that link above, and grab the two files that I mentioned, that's the first step. Once you have them on your computer, I'll send you some USB drivers, and then help you with the next steps to get it working

Any idea when would be Jelly bean released for SGH-i757M?
I bought a LG G2X from someone and they failed to tell me the phone was rooted, I have no clue what to do with a rooted phone and honestly I don't care to have that access. Could someone please help me unroot this phone. I know enough about cell phones since I did sell them. When I got the phone it was in safe mode, I rebooted it and did a wipe of the phone and seen that it had superuser on it. I have all the information with the phone but not sure what to do so that I can update this device. PLEASE HELP! I can't afford to brick the phone at this moment since I have no clue what I'm doing. Thank you.
I'll tell you off the bat I do not know how to unroot this device. I will also tell you that this phone is worth its weight in sh*t if its not rooted. If you do a little reading around the stickies you'll see this phone is nearly impossible to hard brick. Most of the time a full wipe and reflash or nandroid save fixes the worst of issues. We have had some amazing developers create awesome software for this device that I think you would love to experience.

Thank you, the only reason i want to unroot is since I can't update my phone it keeps turning off for no reason and sometimes it will take 15 minutes to place a call, I need to shut it off or do a battery pull all the time for the phone to function, thank you very very much for your info I greatly appreciate it I'm thinking it over or I need to figure out how to upgrade while rooted
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda app-developers app
When you say "upgrade" do you mean the software on the phone or upgrading to a new phone in general? If you do some searching you can find some stock unrooted roms that you can flash I believe. If I were you I would flash vanilla Cyanogen Mod 7. It is the most stable ROM for this device and offers wonderful customization options. The only thing that will not work is blue tooth calling. You can find the latest nightly build at get.cm. If you wish to make battery life better there are great developers for this device who have manufactured some awesome kernels that can be overclocked and undervolted. I'm currently running CM7 with Trinity's MAX 1500 kernel overclocked to 1.2mhz and undervolted across the board. I get amazing battery life and buttery smooth performance.
Use ROM for recovery nvflash method to return to stock. Then you can update either OTA or using the kdz method.

In the absence of a valid argument, 2+1=3 may be used to explain why the g2x did not get the ICS update!

As GT-N8013 is the Cellular South version, this should be the matching stock firmware --> LINK.
You can flash it via Odin. It will restore phone to stock.
