Hello guys,
I have been searching but couldn't find anything, do you know if there is any way I could connect my Galaxy S to a projector? Like a dock in which you put the phone and it has a projector?
Or any other means of connecting a projector to the galaxy s?
Thanks in advance!
Just buy a tv-out cable and connect it to your projector using RCA.
maybe this can help

I bought this one some time ago for my 5800 but works ok with my I9000. You can use it with stock ROM but I've managed to make it work in CM9 too (with the help of the "Galaxy S Settings" app).

XDA rules state you need to wait a minimum of 24 hours before bumping your own thread.
However, I remember reading something a few days ago about some MHL adapters (knock-offs) not working with the S4. So the only thing I might suggest is making sure you have an "official" HML adapter from Samsung that is made for your exact model of phone. Do you?
The thread i read was either in this sub - forum or in the App sub forum. Good luck.
**EDIT**
Here is the thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2412756&highlight=mhl
If you do a search in this sub forum you will find threads with more info as well.
So I tried to mirror Galaxy S6 to Samsung ue48h6400 and I got this error in my phone "Unable to connect to screen mirroring due to hardware issue".
Is there any fix for this? I heard this is due to rooting. Maybe there's some third-party app that is able to mirror my device to TV? I'm sure unrooting would fix it, but I don't want to do it.
Any thoughts?
Bump
Am I the only one having this? Has someone else fixed it?

Hi,
MHL and Screen Mirroring are not supported on the S6. I've been trying for days to figure a viable workaround. So far all I can find is the samsung all share smart hub or chromcast.

I don't understand how Screen mirroring is not supported when you have option for it. Do you think it's fixable with the updates?
just tried with my philips TV everything working great.
i have S6+root.

If you could, would you provide your step by step to get MHL working?

WiFi on----> screen mirroring on----> wait until it find my Philips TV WiFi connection---> hit "Phillips TV-WiFi" in screen mirroring menu---> accept connection on my Philips TV.
that's all.
I also have this issue with my Galaxy S6 connecting to my Samsung 50" Led smart TV. It worked before I rooted, but will not work since root
Hello, I purchased a Dodocool 3 USB 3.0 + HDMI + External Power hub for my OnePlus 7 Pro. The adapter works fine on my Note 9. However, I can only get HDMI to work with my 1P7P. I have OTG Enabled. Any advice? Would really like to use the hub / monitor / keyboard and mouse. One I use a standalone type c to a OTG adapter keyboard and mouse works, just not with the hub.
Thank you in advance!
USB storage is detected on USB 3.0 ports just not the mouse and kb.
I have the same issue and I opened some threads around the web looking for other feedbacks.

The problem seems to be common on hubs that deliver video out. I tried using the original OTG cable paired with a simple USB3.0 4 ports hub and all the devices are properly recognized. Instead, complex hubs are recognized as a "storage" device, no matter what you attach to them (but storage + HDMI works on several hubs).
I posted a similar question on Reddit. No answers yet, I basically want to know if Dex style hubs work with op7p. I currently use my old v20 with HDMI USB mouse and keyboard with power delivery, but it doesn't work with my v30 even tho USB to HDMI works. I want to buy this phone, but don't want to make the same mistake twice. I like using moonlight to stream my PC for gaming.
Dang, yea - I wonder if it is an issue with usb 3.0? It detects drives attached and HDMI just cannot talk to kb or mouse. I am going to keep poking around the system.
I wonder if it is a kernel level issue?
I fixed it! Flash this kernel! https://forum.xda-developers.com/on.../kernel-kirisakura-1-0-0-op7-pro-aka-t3933916
So just to clarify, HDMI, USB keyboard/mouse, SD scard, and power delivery all work together?

Yep 100% after flashing the kernel.
Can confirm, same here! It's just that kernel though, other kernels don't seem to work.

Which kernels have you tried? It would be great if we could make a list of working ones.
I'm wonder if this will fix the issue I'm having with my PS4 controller via otg? It doesn't work at all except for in Steam link app. Sorry for hijacking the thread.
Probably it has to do with it, I'm having issues with the Xbox 360 wireless receiver here. :/

Not yet. I'm thinking of giving it a go, but I've never had any custom kernels.

I'd back up via Twrp then flash the kernel.
Sent from my OnePlus 7 Pro using XDA Labs
Is there a Kernel that would also work for the OP6T?
Just installed twrp, rooted my new and fully updated OP7 Pro and then flashed the kernel but the result is the same.
USB-c to USB works
USB-c to hdmi works
USB-c to HDMI/USB/SDCARD/JACK/RJ45 - Only HDMI Works.
Anyone got any suggestions to where I might have gone wrong?
Does anyone have another solution other than flashing the kernel ? i dont want to root my phone and i really need to use my device to connect hdmi+usb port+audio jack at the same time .
my huawei mate 20 just work fine . but oneplus 7 pro doesn't .
