Dead XDA II

Hi out there,
have a problem with my XDA II...it just can't turn on.. I was using it and suddenly it just went dead..might be due to low batt...went back and charged it, only shows the red led light that goes off after awhile..but still dead phone...anyone encoutered this before?

Red light, do you mean orange/amber?
I get amber when charging and green when charged (complete). Red to me would indicate lack of a charge entirely or extremely low. Make sure you are actually charging unit.

I mean red as in...when you get a miss call or low battery situation.

Orange notification LED stays on

Everything is in the title.
The notification LED stays orange like when my phone is charging.
The LED turn on when the phone boot and stays on all the time.
My phone is rooted with the Fallout Evolution rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679125
Anyone can help me ?

For the notification LED to stay orange is perfectly normal. It should also stay on when battery is low.
But for it to stay on, all the time even while not charging is kinda odd.
Have u tried doing a full wipe or maybe a different rom?

My battery is full charged and works perfectly...
haven't tried a full wipe because the led turn on before system booting.

Need help please..

Make a backup of Fallout and flash another ROM to see if it is software related. If the problem persists then most probably your hardware is causing it.

The leds don't consume that much power, so if a warranty return is out of the question I'd be tempted to simply ignore it!

Since the led is allways orange, my battery doesn't last a day.
I ordered a new battery to see if it's the problem

On the investigative side, and also for everyone to avoid the situation. May I ask what have you done prioir having this orange led problem? What have you tinkered, or flashed prioir to this?

the battery replacement doesn't change anything T_T

[HELP] [C1505] Battery or software issue?

Last night my xperia e c1505 fully discharged, now when I try to charge it the red led starts blinking as usual, but when it reaches the sony logo, it shuts off and the red led starts blinking again.. any ideas as of what could cause this, and how I can fix it?

I think you've got a loose connection with your charger, make sure its plugged in properly it shouldn't turn off unless you unplug your charger or press the power button.

I tried flashing the stock rom again, and it got stuck in flashmode after that. I used flashtool to boot into system, and boom it worked. Thank you anyway for your help. :highfive:

Charging LED?

On all my past phones (sGs5, ReZound), they lit up with a charging LED when it was plugged in. On the note 5, there isn't one. Is there a setting, or work around for this? I do have tasker which I'm sure I can rig up something. But it seems weird it doesn't have an LED to indicate that it's charging.

This setting is under Sound and Notification / LED Indicator.

Hmmm... Very interesting. My LED turns red when it's charging, whether wired or wireless... and then turns green when charged, just like all of my other notes...

Nexus 5 ie acting weird...

Hey guys...My N5 is facing weird issue...The only thing I can see glowing is red led..nothing else...I can feel the vibrations too...
Ps-Tried with alternate display too...same isue...help me...

Glowing red LED may indicate a very depleted battery or defective battery.

Not only red led glows...green and blue also glowing if I charge it up... Don't know what is the problem with it

Is the phone running a custom ROM?
