Why can't i recieve the apk files through BT? i hv encountered such pb in my Galaxy Tab P1000 with Custom ICS ROM. Someone suggested me to send by rename the apk into txt. it's also worked in this device. But it's really annoying to do so especially when i want to use myAppsharer.
Is there anyway to fix this pb?

I heard its an android issue and I can't do it either, but some roms support transferring/downloadinng any file types. Try Jelly Belly, it has the feature.

Its already available in CM based roms.. if you want it for stock roms, it involves a lot of framework modding. Please check out this thread for further assistance.
Here you go please flash and test out! i needed a differnt boot sound as the one you posted was a .wav hope the one i found will do

EDT: Converted the same audio file to mp3,i replaced it in the archive,i installed it with Xrecovery and...everything fine but when i boot nothing-same old song can you try to fix it ? Tnx !!!

Should i flash it or replace the bootanimation? Becouse the last time no matter how much i flash the zip there wasn't any differences...
EDIT: After flashing...nothing again.Will try to replace bootanimation.What about bootaudio?

Try mounting /system first! If not then umm idk why its not qprking ! What rom ar you on??
But try copying both files into system/media

I am on Feralab V20 and there is a problem again-black screen while booting.No bootanimation.2.3. is my Rom (Gb).No audio,No sound
Its not possible to have sound on a boot splash screen for a stock based rom its only possible on cm/aokp based roms.

wrong,how about other brand like lg,etc that have 2.3.7 with sound in its bootanimations? and by the way feravolt's roms are stock based and yes,he made a bootanimation with sound.

Hello Guys,
I tried installing the Xperia Z launcher on my Atrix 2 (Leaked JB 4.1.2 for Taiwan+HK version) and it worked like a charm. Used it for a day and was very happy with the way the launcher responded on the device. So i took a backup from CWM, as i was flashing the updated version of JB 4.1.2. However once i got on to the newer version of JB, I was never able to install this launcher again. While installing from recovery it works fine but after booting to the main screen i dont get anything now ..I have tried moving back to ICS 2 times and also on 1st update of JB but was never able to get this launcher :crying: .... In short i flashed my phone 5 times just to get this launcher but it doesn't work..Also did this continuously for 26 hours...Can anyone help by trying on their cell and let me know if it works or not..Because i cannot understand why it installed fine at the first go and since then was never able to install it.
Please if someone can help me getting this launcher into this beast, i would be really grateful..

Can someone please extract the files from the above package and see if anything can be done for this to get ported on our Beast..Help would be very much appreciated..Daily i keep trying to install the package from the recovery hoping that it will as it did for the very 1st time, but doesn't seems it wanna gets installed

It was originally built for TouchWiz, but it seems to be working with everything but blur. Someone on an aosp rom should test it to see if it's actually blur causing the problem.

But how come it got installed on JB 4.1.2 on the very first attempt. But dont know why it is not getting installed now.
nwaz can anyone try this on AOSP ROM and update on it.

Maybe the v1.0 version works with blur, and the v2.0 does not work.

Thank you so much..That was the issue.. Version 1 works fine with MOto Blur and V2 doesn't. All this while after my first successful attempt i was trying to install the V2:silly:
I am very happy with the launcher finally on my Beast and that too on CM10

Yup, it worked on my CM10 as well ..I have even flashed the Walkman Series after flashing the launcher and must say it is amazing

Kool, it worked for me as well. I was using the wrong version of launcher hence was not able to get it working. Finally figured it out but trying another version of it

Make sure u install another launcher first..then use some kind of root browser and go to system/apps. Find the launcher and delete then reboot.

If you can work with the bootanimation.zip and you know the basics then this tutorial should be enough!
.ogg files can easily be added to bootanimation

You Can Even Disable The App Instead of Uninstalling by Switching the sevices off in settings->accessibility
