XDA friends,
I am new on this forum, and can post it on the right place because i'am not authorized so i hope this can be solved over here.
Today i' did a clean install of the new CM 10 ivendor Alfa 7 rom, before that i used ics 4.0.4 of BROODPLANK.
CM 10 works very good an is smooth and stable. but i think there i a bug when you use location services.
because different apps that are using this service telling me that I have to turn on location service! but it is already on!
also with wifi it still can't find my location, gps is working fine.
i hope you guys can help me to solve this problem, and when it can't be solved over here i hope you guys can post my problemover here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2000828

Same Problem width Windows Mobil 6 - Since the beginning of the year

No Problems width UMTS or GPS

Dunno about Typhoon or MIUI rom, but try American android and see if it works. It works great for me.

wifi problem
he try the new typhoon 3.6.2 it has the kernel r12 beta from tytung! for some this is giving problems but for others it is working fine! just keep followong the development of the typhoon thread as almost once a week there will be an update and you can update youre rom without losing youre settings or data!!! so it is the best way to always have the latest versions!! if you dont know how to update youre rom pm me!

If the mobile phone up to 4 inches away from the router, WiFi works without problems.
From 4 cm no longer connected.
P.S.
At the beginning of the year my display was replaced (complete). Can there be a problem because of this? (I have only problems with WiFi and Bluetooth)

You have in your HTC a cable between the motherboard and wifi. The cable is probably loose.

I recently put the Hypersensation ROM on my HTC Sensation but my Latitude doesn't work anymore. I tried using the maps and gps features but they don't seem to catch my location. I'm fairly new to this, what would I need to do?

Check out the page for Revolution HD 3.6.7 there is a Q&A at the bottom of the page for GPS fixes.
I'm runnung the Revolution HD software and the info on there helped me with my GPS issues.

Any help would be much appreciated. I like MIUI ROM 2.10.19 and want to use it with LUPUS Kernel V4. But I'm experiencing problems with WiFi. Everything is working fine but I am unable to start WiFi. I've flashed Kernel and Rom many times and installed the WiFi modules provided by the developer Wedgess with his Kernel but it did not work.
I like LUPUS kernel because it saves lot of battery and really like his work. Please help me resolve this problem.

Thank god im not alone with this, i have been running cyanogenmod9 for over 6 months now with a common wifi issue which is pretty easy to fix by deleting some dhcp file...
my issue now is that i fear i have deleted an important file for the wifi to work as it is now greyed out in the settings and although it says "turning wifi on" after 5 mins of waiting the handset reboots and still no wifi, i have re flashed the rom a few times with kernals and even tried a few different roms that did not work on my device i may have flashed them on wrong but i dont understand how.. so i have concluded that it is not rom related for me at least,
any chance anyone can send me the critical wifi files and locations? or possibly suggest another solution? as my device is as good as a paperweight right now:crying:

Fix for wifi problem
I´d also had long time the problem that the wifi button was greyd out and not working. Just now i found a fix for this problem in lupus´s kernel thread:

At the bottom of the second post you´ll find a attached wififixfile. These one i´ve installed via recovery an now wifi is working again. :highfive:

i have updated my nexsus s to android 4.2.2 cyanogen mod 10.1
when i Use GPS TEST or similiar apps it takes a lot of time to find my loction on the satellite.
pleases help me what to do?
or tell me which rom is More relible with GPS service to change my rom. thanks

Hi. I've installed the Resurrection Remix ROM from this thread and i have some bugs that i don't know how to solve. I want to fix my GPS, that is only working in Google Maps (also track me) but can't use it anywhere else. Also, i can't make an hotspot, and i need this to have net connecton on my tablet and my storage shows only 2.41Gb, but i have a 16GB space. Thanks in advance.
PS: I have the stock kitkat rom version.
