I am trying to update to the last Vs but wen i pres the recovery button is not going on this menu ,is just buting normal on android>i remove the case to see if the button is working on android wen I press the recovery buton the volume is going down on GK802.
Can you please help me on this problem ??I am fowling all the steps and I cannot goo on recovery mode .

i'm new to this Android thing. last night i upgraed my sgs from 2.1 to 2.3.3. it works fine and i can go into download mode by holding down volume down + home +power but i cant get the phone to go into recovery mode.
can anyone please kindly show me how to get into recovery mode? (i tried volume up+ home+power, doesnt work)

Hello guys, I have a problem. I did everything like on this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1776095 and after doing this I menaged to enter CWM mode but the phone didn`t wanted do reboot. So I had to rollback to a stock ROM.. Now I have a stock ROM again, I and I tried do put CWM again... And now I have a problem, when I press volume down+power button it won`t get in download mode. Also i have one more problem, when I press volume up+power it says something like black screen with text FORCE UPLOAD.. Can somebody help me, I`m trying to put this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1735976

Hi all, I have a prob with my Samsung Galaxy S Plus.
I installed a cwm and now my phone start always with a cwm. The problem is that I can navigate in this cwm but I can't select any option!!!!!!!
So I tried to change it by ODIN but when I go in download mode ODIN can't see the phone.
So what I can do? My cell is bricked???????
I just need to change my cwm with one that work.. means one that I can select options!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please help me.. I'm afraid that I can't recover my phone!!! Thanks to all.....

are you using permanent cwm ?
hey mate chill it hehe , just search for kernel with non cwm recovery which mean can get to stock recovery, also the touchscreen in cwm not working so you have to use volume button. and for odin download samsung usb driver pack search in google

I installed Samsung USB Driver but ODIN doesn't connect to phone!!!
I know that for navigate in cwm I have to use voume button, the problem is that VOLUME+ go UP, VOLUME- go DOWN, HOME button go DOWN, MENU button go UP, BACK button DO NOTHING, and POWER button DO NOTHING......... so can't select any options!!!!
So how instal kernel with non cwm without odin....
oh god,my fingers are breaking down to enter into cmw recovery mode !!!!!!! :crying:
tried 20 times to enter into cmw recovery mode ,with in few seconds it is going off !!!!
can i make cmw recovery mode boot up first ?

Do you mean that you have to press 3 buttons at the same time to get into recovery mode ?
I don't know if this help but there is a mod from wanam exposed that allows you to boot into recovery mode without pressing any buttons

If your phone is rooted, use app Quick Boot from play store.
Your phone reboots because you keep finger too long on the enter button (either home or power button) and default option in recovery mode is "reboot"

turn off your phone, press volume up, volume down, power button, and home button. hold it until your phone vibrate.
Note: for Samsung Galaxy S Duos, it can take several attempts to enter recovery mode, so do not give up immediately!

i have a gionee ps2 1gb ram. i want to format my system capacity because it is totally full. so i root my phone then i download a CWM " carliv touch recovery v2.7" then when i want to click the reboot phone. it cant. it cannot restart.:crying:
