[Q] Request tun.ko for TF700T fw 10.4.4.25 - Asus Transformer TF700

Please help me to find tun.ko module for firmware JRO03C.US_epad-10.4.4.25-20121228
At the tun.ko installer repository listed module for previous firmware version (JRO03C.US_epad-10.4.4.20-20121026), but installer doesn't download it to my pad.
I'll try it at the my device if anybody post it here.

Problem solved
tun.ko for JRO03C.US_epad-10.4.4.20-20121026

Does this just go into the /system/lib/modules folder?

I am also seeking tun.ko for JRO03C.US_epad-10.4.4.25-20121228
According to the tun.ko installer, the version you posted JRO03C.US_epad-10.4.4.20-20121026 is not compatible with our firmware version.
Has anyone installed this on a 10.4.4.25-20121228 firmware and confirm it works and won't brick the device?
What directory does this module need to land in? Can it be copied with ES or does it have to be pushed?
Thks

CONFIG_TUN is already enabled in the kernel, you don't need the module at all.

[REQ] ADB binary from Transformer

I am trying to get a copy of the ADB binary found at /system/bin/adb on the Transformer and Transformer Prime.
All the original system dumps are dead (Megaupload/Multiupload are gone, and the mediafire and depositfile links are 404), and downloading the firmware from asus or other backups only provide a packed blob I don't have the tools to unpack.
This is a android/arm compiled version of the adb sdk tool. This is not the adbd daemon that is enabled by turning on usb development or adb over wifi. It actually lets you adb into other devices.
Can anyone share a copy from their Transformer?
Bump, noone?
Here's one from the Prime (the latest .21 build).

Is it zip file or renamed binary file.?
Says corrupted.
BTW, are these adb commands same as that of PC adb.?
Why don't you download a stock based ROM like Revolver or ARHD and extract adb?

[Completed] Restore

Hi, I installed Xposed and now i have a soft brick, and i haven´t got the exposed Disabler zip file. Can you share it please?
Bimalnxb said:
When you first install Xposed it creates a file in your sdcard folder called Xposed-Disabler-Recovery.zip. All you need to do is boot into recovery and flash the disabler file so Xposed will be disabled and your device will be working again as it should.... just search on your sdcard0 folder.....

I know, but I think I cancelled it, and now i haven´t got that .zip, so i´d like to download it and after that restore it, but I didn´t find this file uploaded anywhere, how can I obtain it? Anyone can upload it?
Please review Xposed - General info, versions & changelog The First post has the zip you are seeking.

will it run on rooted htc d820u lillipop device?
Now in marshmallow after rooting you can use Busybox from Play Store. SuperSU in version 2.65 is enabling file system overlay and you can modify /system/xbin dir.

Latest SuperSU uses system-less root and I don't think you can write to /system/xbin from MM (in 820).
Install busybox from recovery...
Read what I wrote earlier. SuperSU creates layer on /system/xbin path. You can write files in this path but changes really is saved in /su/xbin_bind. System path /system/xbin is not really modified. Read >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64161125

A poor man's overlay is used on /system/xbin. We are creating a copy of /system/xbin in /su/xbin_bind, adding a symlink to /su/bin/su there, then mounting the entire thing on top of the original /system/xbin. This is likely to fix some compatibility issues with some apps, without actually modifying /system

My friend, I suppose there is a misinterpretation of chainfire's concept. The idea is, transparently placing files in /system BUT without modifying the actual partition. Pls take a look once again...

That I was said I think that you misinterpretation my words. Word 'layer' makes big diffrence
newer/alternate versions (flashable) can be found here and here. they both work well for me.
I have rooted my htc 820pi kitkat. Now I want to install custom recovery. But, not finding any way. Can you please help me.

PureCM OTG option

Hello there, I am new here and I am not able to post directly in the right post, so I will start from here as instructed.
I flashed my OP3 with cm-13.0-20160823-UNOFFICIAL-PureCM-oneplus3 because the stock ROMs 3.2.6 and 3.2.7 don't work with 2 important tools I use very often. These tools are Drivedroid and Airdroid airmirror function, both essential in my opinion. So, I installed PureCM and I love it, ran into some issues but after two clean installations I was able to get rid of them, one was no home or fingerprint sensor at all and the other one was push for Blue mail not working.
The only thing that I don't see on my phone or any post is how to enable OTG. I read on the main thread that the development on this has stopped, but I see nightly updates coming in. Anybody out there using PureCM with OP3 with OTG enabled?
Move .xml file to /system/etc/permissions.
Set permissions to rw -r -r
Reboot!
If u can't download the XML file then download from

Hi, I found this file already on my folder. I believe that you were maybe trying to help me with Oxygen OS and the USB host issue in drivedroid.......? Thank you, but I am not on Oxygen anymore, I am using PureCM and I am trying to find an option to enable OTG on it.

Question Trying To Root Samsung A76 5G

This is my first time rooting my phone (tried rooting an o+ phone but couldn't unlock the bootloader) and I want to know how to my get phone's firmware. I tried using the Samsung Firmware Downloader but it won't accept my model and region.
I've tried using SuperSu to root but Root Checker says root access wasn't properly installed. What do I do now? Can I download a different firmware from a different site and is it safe? Does showing my pda code safe?
Edit: Forgot to mention I've already flashed TWRP.
Excuse me but what is your region and model number

Never mind, I manage to download the firmware and root my phone thanks to Samsung Downloader. I wasn't able to download it at first because I keep using XXU (the one I saw in *#1234#, samsung firmware) as my region but it was actually XTC (I checked Software information in the About Phone).
Ok
if twrp is installed
root the phone with magisk
My next problem is changing the /system/ into read/write. I can't access build.prop. Haven't tried using adbd insecure but I have a feeling it won't work with Android 13. I'm currently trying to find the flashable zip from this thread to convert my /system/ into read/write.

Accessing the build.prop file was not the problem, I can access it with any app (build.prop file, root explorer, etc..). My problem is whatever change I did to the build.prop file will not be saved since I don't have read/write access.

Since our system is F2FS you can't modify system it stays RO you can make a magisk module yourself to modify build prop also don't use supersu rooting is very easy just flash twrp then flash magisk. I'm making a custom rom which I'm hoping to release soon that's ext4 but I'm limited by time and the recent events from where I live so I can't give a ETA
