[Q] upgrade to JB lost toggle widget - Asus Transformer TF700

Upgraded to JB from rooted ICS and restored root after OTA upgrade. now i dont have the toggle widget. Any ideas ? Thanks.

What toggle widget are you referring to? If you mean the bar in the notification area, there's a toggle in the Settings under "ASUS customized setting". If it is something else, can you be more specific?

On ICS there was a widget for WIFI, GPS, SYNC, BRIGHTNESS that i could place on the desktop anywhere. Now it is gone. i still have the asus quick setting menu but i became used to using the wudget.

[Q] Notification icons not showing?

My notification icons on the status bar aren't showing up anymore. Does anyone else have this issue and/or has a fix?
You nudged the notifications slider button by mistake?

Is there any way to get that ? i dont know what it is called but I saw on my frnd's cell and its pretty handy at times. So is there any app by which we can get that thing ?
Thanks
Never mind I found app called notification toggle
My recommendation would be to install a ROM with toggles already on it. Which most do. Notification toggle is an app, which you'll notice it says "ongoing" all the time. That's because it's an app that runs all the time. This is likely to consume battery, and it also sits IN the notification area, cluttering it up, while a ROM with toggles is above the notification area.

power control widget from the notification bar

Here is another newbie question. I installed stock jelly bean with a matrix kernel. I really miss the ability to access the power control widget from the notification screen like cm7 has. Is there anyway to install this without installing another mod?
Thanks.
Lots of apps do that. Power toggles (used to be power controls) comes to mind. But there are a lot more.

Widgetsoid is also another alternative.

Flash CM10 :3?
Nexus S (GMS i9020a)
Paranoid (1.6 - 4.0.4)
Matrix Kernel (CFS - 20.0)
Ondemmand (1000/100)
Deep Idle (On - Deadline)
Live OC - 100 (400/800)
BLX - 98 (Inverted Apps)
Edit
Nevermind app already mentioned in
There's Notification Toggles.
Now, with Widgetsoid and Power Toggles already mentioned above, you know the 3 best apps for this purpose.

Thanks, there seems to be an issue with power toggles. Even if I enable it in the accessibility settings, it will always be superceded by notifications, and never on top. Anyone else have this issue? or am I missing something...

In Power Toggles settings, change the notification priority to 1
Power Toggles is the best, it's the nicest looking, easiest to configure, and you can hide the notification icon.

Did that, messages still knock it down towards the bottom
ahh, changing it to 5 fixed it. Thanks for tipping me in the right direction
ok, now the issue is getting rid of the icon in the notifications bar. i know i can make it transparent, but is there any way to make it go away completely and still keep the power toggle active and on top?

Are you talking about having the battery percentage with the icon on the status bar? Stock Android (and in this case mostly stock) doesn't have that option. You can use what I use, power toggles, to have it pinned on the left side of the status bar. Not the greatest set up but for now it's all we got. Another reason why I really hope we see an unlocked boot loader so we can get some roms that will have this feature. :good:
Or you can two finger swipe down on the notification bar and it will show your percentage

Yes, that's what I was talking about... I added power toggles and put up top. Thanks

[Q] Toggle button for quick toggles?

I have Gravitybox and Xperia Flip Settings installed, which is great, but if I already have the notification bar pulled down I can't change between the notifications and the toggles.
So basically I'd like to know if I can have this button on Xperia L: http://imgur.com/330kKaT
It doesn't have to be this button, but something that makes it possible to change between the toggles and notifications just like what that button would do.
Yeah the Last option in statusbar >Quick seeting, u can chose side (left or rigth) to pull noti bar or the Quick seetings.

Maybe you can try pulling down from left side or right side to get the toggles!!

I have that option enabled, but I often forgot that I wanted to pull down the quick toggles, and when I've already pulled down the notifications I can't change it to the toggles, so I have to swipe the notifitacions back and pull down again from the right side of the screen.
It's not really a time-consuming task, but it's kinda annoying since it happens to me so often.
