Database Info

Drivers Driving me crazy!! HELP!

Hey there!!
This must be a very dumb issue but an issue nevertheless and I can't find anywhere an answer to my dumb problem.
I am using my laptop to run RSD lite and other programs to flash some phones and I cannot get my computer to read them as COM ports.
I instaled drivers but nothing.
I am not a technician (obviously ) but I have been very good with computers and usually find my way around, but not now !
My V3M is recognized as a Modem in com 16 but RSD won't read it.
Samsung nothing...
No problem with my HTC or TREO... and pretty much got stuck on this!!
Can someone please give me a quick lesson on what I have to do to get the correct drivers for these and other phones, to install them and have them working correctly with RSD and other programs??

i don't know how helpful that will be.... i realy don't know alot about motorola phones, this is an htc wesite so most people on here will only know how to mess with htc

problem please let me know and IV tryed ​every thing IV seen of
1,000's of videos nothing worked I just want to update from 2.2.1 it came with like 8 mounths

We need some info from YOU.
Give us exactly what you have tried and what errors you have gotten and what the screen looked like on your phone step by step.
Also we'll need what phone model you have (check under the battery) as this is very important, and also what version of Android you're currently running.
The more of this info you get us the faster we can help you.

(Help)In trouble in Los Andes!

Hello, sorry if the title isnt right,but i need your curosity so you enter my post, first o all sorry for my English, i live in Los Ades(Mountains)Mendoza, Argentina, far away from the city, and that's why i need your help, i cant go to any shop to fix my phone, im far away from downtown...i got a Samsung Y 5360l and i made Hard reset, and now, when is starting, its says that com.android.phone got to close, and i get the android Home but i dont got documents explorer,web explorer, 3g...........you can say that you got the half of the phone....
My cell was rooted, i dont know if that is a clue......in other web sites they tell me to flash it with odin, but i dont know what rom to use it that function here in Argentina, and that work fully, i really want to use the stock rom but i dont find it....
any help would be plenty thanks a lot!

Please help me....

Flash a different country nearby with the same network you use, for example,if your network also happens to be in Brazil or Peru or something.

Anything since android 2.1 has tethering, unless stated on the rom as broken.
Also, creed rom 3.5 would work perfect.

[Q] LG P990 After ROM install

Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and i already noticed you guys preverlablie have no noobs in this threat, but i dont know where to put my question and i realy need some experts help ho knows where he's talking about, i thought i did. But apperentlie not. And my english sucks its not my native language. Im from Holland.
And this is the part where you guys can laugh your asses of. The situation : I have a LG P990 mobile and it was working slow as hell with the stock ROM installed, So i dowloaded the Domination ROM for the LG P990, rooted my phone and installed Clockwork rebooted my phone did a backup and flashed the ROM and flashed Gapps. The ROM looks nice but is a bit unstable when i go to internet the screen flashes and installing apps is a bit tricky, my camera works but asks to insert a SDcard. Same thing if i go to Gallery. So i decided to go back to my stock ROM and look for another one ho works better. And this is when the **** hits the fan :crying: When i want to restore my backup using Clockwork it says it cant find no backup so thats problem nummero uno, for seconds ( because my phone likes to F*** with me ) I thougt to be a smart guy and just download a stock ROM and put it on my phone and flash that ROM but here's the catch : My PC wont let me connect with the phone or the otherway around. Its all the same.... Can someone help me please to fix my phone because this sucks big ones.

Thnx for your reply, but i cant find the thread you are talking about. Can u pls help me set me **** up? I got my phone to recognise the damn pc it looked sweet all the **** i wanted, only that was short lived i have a kid 3 years old and run over my "connection cable" so it was lost and when i plugged it in again it was broke again, arghhh

[Completed] [Q] Unbrick Wiko Rainbow

Hey guys!
I have a huge problem with my Wiko Rainbow. Several months ago I waanted to flash a cfw, ending up in having no IMEI... I've tried so many different possible solutions, but today I can't remember which of those had fixed the problem.
For months there were no issues with the phone at all, but yesterday after booting there was a pop-up saying "System-UI crashed". It opened over and over again when I closed it and there was no way to browse to Xposed-Settings (I believe that one of the plug-ins had forced the issue), so my first thought was to wipe all to factory settings. But doing so caused the missing IMEI-problem again. Because I couldn't remember wich solution worked for me in the past, I stupidly downloaded some IMEI backup files and restored them, thinking to edit an existing IMEI is easier than write a new one, but this led to my situation now: the phone doesn't boot anymore, it keeps stuck in the WIKO-logo screen forever. Wiping data via recovery menu doesn't work, and the phone isn't recognized by my pc anymore, so I'm not able to flash a different rom or use the WIKO Updating Tool anymore...
So PLEASE help me bringing my phone to life again! I really don't know what to do know! Is it possible to fix my mistake? Or is it bricked for good??

Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. I think your only hope is to flash the stock firmware, which it sounds like you've already tried.
