Everything works fine with CM until i decided to install sense based roms (Trickdroid 9.1/Viper one s 2)
Discovered that the wifi problem exist with the hboot 1.14. I don't really want to downgrade my hboot
What are the options I have?
Why is it that my CM rom has no issues with wifi which uses the same hboot??
Having the same problem with trickdroid and viper, you updated right? Are you saying NON-SENSE roms are working with WiFi?

Its not your hboot, its your Wifi partitions that are flashed which tend to correspond to that hboot. (this tends to be a T Mobile problem)
Solution is to downgrade your hboot and flash a different set of Wifi partitions.
I had 1.14 hboot with Bell Mobility and ROMs and WiFi worked fine.

Yup... sure it does work perfectly fyn with the NON-SENSE roms..... thats vat my question is....
If it was a wrong partition issue, shouldn't it be persistent with the NON- SENSE roms as well ??

All the aosp ROMs have a 2.35 base fingerprint...and new sense ROMs have a different base 3.16.. That is the reason aosp has no WiFi issues..if you flash a ROM sense or not with a base 2.35 or lower you should have no WiFi issues..

Greetings,
I looked around and I haven't quite found a sense 3.5 based rom that has everything working properly, many are having issues with bluetooth, video playback and odd problems with the stock camera app. Well, perhaps I am mistaken, I would appreciate if anyone could recommend one that is fast and reliable enough for daily use without bugs or issues with bluetooth..etc.
I'm on Alpharev HBOOT 6.xx.xxxx and sense 2.1/GB 2.3.3 and EXT4 recovery. Do I have to upgrade HBOOT ENG 2.00.2002 to have sense 3.5 based ROM working properly?
Endymion seems to be the favourite choice for sense 3.5
I'm pretty sure it's bug free
I haven't flashed sense 3.5 but I'm pretty sure you don't have to change the hboot or anything else as long as your rooted

+1 latest runnymede edition had issues as per the comments
Endymion. Without a question the most stable and bug free sense 3.5 rom out there at present.
Beamed from far far away using xda premium.

Endymion is advertised as a sense 3.0 rom, I don't exactly know the differences between the two. Perhaps you could enlighten me please

From what I see no, there were people who did develope off of the tmous but they stopped due to reasons that should not be rementioned and they have moved on to another device, so the only Rom that actually has WiFi calling on it is the trickdroid with sense 4.1 and new updates, there hasn't been much developing going on for tmous one s that still has what your looking for there is viper Rom that has sense but no WiFi calling, I see mostly non-sensed roms and european roms not too many tmous roms hopefully I helped you out just hit that thanks button and if you got anymore you want to know, just ask

Oh when I read about the trickdroid rom for sense 4.1 I think version 8 but was not tmous had no wifi calling what I got from the description.
There is a TmoUS Trickdroid thread in the development section. The Rom in that thread has everything you are asking about.

Yes. Radios and ROMs are two totally separate beasts. I've run the stock radio (F2) on JB just fine. In fact, I find F2 and G7 to be better in CM10 than the latest releases.
I'm on viper one S 2.1 but want to try out some non sense roms... Is there anything in particular I need to do. I'm gonna try the 4.2.2 ones. Do I have to change the radio to work on the non sense roms? Is there anything else I need to do? Thanks

Full wipe and flash away. Radio changing is not necessary.

(My Sim and Provider is T-Mobile Germany)
Can anyone helpe me ?
I post it not on http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...5520&page=1117 well i was new here.
Yes, it's a bug. Therefore it doesn't work on albinoman's ROM. In fact, I don't think it works on any 4.2.2 jellybean ROMs(other people should correct me if I'm wrong)

Yes, it's a common issue in 4.2.2 (Jellybean). All ICS roms should be fine.

Yes. Since inspiration ROM is ICS, then the search for network problem should be fixed
