[Q] Any way to get ICS transition animations on JB? - Asus Transformer TF700

I have tested the ICS transition animations from Nova Launcher on JB and they seem to make the tablet visually snappier. Is there any way to make them default on JB?

[Q] ICS - Landscape launcher

Does anyone knows whether the launcher on ICS supports/will-support landscape orientation?
An early drewgaren(or beezy, whatever) ROM had a launcher which went landscape, and with the ICS integrating some of the Honeycomb features, I thought it would appear on 4.0, though I don't see it in any of the AOSP ROM's as of now.
Being so that its going to support tablets as well, it will have landscape

No resizable widgets with ICS??

I just updated from 2.3.6 to 4.0.4 on i9023.
Everything seems to be working perfect but I see no option to re-size widgets in the stock launcher? Even those I was able to with ADW launcher on GB, I thought the ICS stock launcher was able to re-size.
Did something go wrong with the update? Anyone else with the problem?
Just long press on the widget and drag it to the desired size.
Ok it seems like the ics launcher has very limited capability of resizing, only a few widgets I can resize whereas ADW resized pretty much everything. I am unable to resize the animated analog clock widget and a few other widgets that ADW could.

TF700 Laucher after Jellybean update

Hi,
I was on stock launcher on ICS because I thought JB would bring me the buttery smoothness it promised... but it didn't. It runs smoother, especially in stock browser, but the animations when killing and opening applications isn't "buttery" smooth. I don't want to turn off those animations because I think they would look nice at 60 fps. The weird thing is killing an application from within another application is way smoother than from the home screen hence my question: What launcher do you use since the JB update and does it make everything smooth on the Home screen? (including the animations when opening and closing applications).
So far, I've tried the following:
Nova launcher (my favorite so far but has the same problem as the stock one)
Apex launcher (not as smooth as stock or Nova)
Go launcher (looks bad imo and not really smoother)
Launcher Pro (It is smooth for opening and killing applications but the page transition is laggy and icons look bad)
Holo Launcher (not that smooth either)
..... some others I can't remember, but none were perfect.
I've also tried the Force GPU rendering in the Dev. options which doesn't seem to make a difference and change the 3 animation scales to .5x instead of 1x which makes the sketchiness less noticeable but doesn't fix it.
TL/DR: What is your TF700 Launcher after Jellybean update and does it make the animations from killing and opening applications buttery smooth (60 fps).
Nova launcher, animations set to fast. Dev options set to .5
Buttery smooth....not sure what the issue is with your setup

I re installed Nova and tried those setting and it makes things better. Thank you. Did you notice what I was talking about on stock launcher tho? The animations being sketchy.
not really...my stock launcher is pretty smooth too.

[Q] Wallpaper scrolling disbled on Sense 4+?

I've been on CM10 for a while, but for the last couple of weeks, I've been trying out the new JB Sense ROMs. Has wallpaper scrolling been disabled in the JB ROMs? It's been a while but I would swear that the Sense ICS Roms had scrolling wallpaper.

I've been wondering this same thing. It seems that since the homescreens loop from end to end it no longer scrolls the wallpaper. I've dug through the settings but could not find a way to change it.
Yes, it has been disabled, while ICS had scrolling wallpaper. This is due to the new feature in Sense 4+ that allows the homescreens to loop around, and HTC didn't want the wallpaper to get funky when moving from the last homescreen to the first, so they disabled scrolling altogether.

Can't get launcher with tablet UI on 4.2.2 CM/AOSP

Hey guys, I have done a lot of googling but can't seem to find a solution. I'm running Paranoid Android 3.60, so I can have an AOSP android 4.2.2 rom while keeping the 4.1 tablet UI. Only problem is the stock launcher and trebuchet even with the DPI and size played with still have a dock on the bottom like the phablet UI. Apex launcher has an option to use Tablet UI so i get what I want, but Apex doesn't have the play store icon in the corner of the app drawer like stock launchers do. I know this is being really picky, but I really want a stock launcher with the 4.1 Tablet UI. How can I achieve this? Is there somewhere I can download the 4.1 Tablet UI launcher for android 4.2.2 or something?
Thanks in advance for any replies!
