Has anyone had any experience using super one click on a Motorola i1. After intense searching on various forums and google I have come up with nothing except it is not listed in the cannot forum and not listed in the capable forum. I am having my doubts that it will due to the nand lock, but adb is my next shot if there is no one click method.
Some one must know
Try z4root.
I updated to 2.3.6 using cheesecake last night and i tried to root it again and i get one error. Ignore the ones about already having the stuff already. Can anyone help me re root? Now instead i get an error stating segmentation fault /data/local/fault (update) I am using the Motorola Atrix 2.
You will have a better chance of getting a reply if you post your question in the Q&A thread relevant to your device, whatever it is.
Hello,
I started a new thread to try and gain some more experienced attention. the other two threads within this massive forum don't have any real support in the way of actual, knowledgable developers.
There are apparently a lot of people that have the AU/KDDI version of the Galaxy S III. (SCL21). There is apparently not, however a lot of support for it. If anybody has any resources or advice for rooting/moding I'm sure we'd all be very grateful.
Thanks in advance,
And happy droiding!
Bump! I know a lot of people that has this phone but there really no support on it.
I'm willing to give you something to buy your beer for your hard work.

Have you by any chance tried Bin4ry's Root Restore method? I used this to root my father's Kindle Fire HD several weeks ago, over a remote internet connection no less, and it works a charm. I can't post links yet but do a search for "Root MANY ANDROID" and you'll find it. If you do try it, you'll probably want to run it as an Administrator, I think that's how I had to do it. There have been several posts from others in that thread that have rooted their S3 variant with this. Good luck!
Hi guys,
I just got the AU SCL21 about two weeks ago. I agree, I think it's really strange that even on the Japanese forums, there is very little info on rooting this model. From everything I've found, the Japanese sites also both say it's OKAY to root using the Docomo SC-06D recovery and Superuser zip and that it's NOT safe to use that same method. Really odd, conflicting messages...
I just tried using Bin4ry's Root Restore*version 30 with the latest Samsung ADB drivers and after the ADB restore and phone reboot (while still connected to my PC), the command prompt in Windows says that Superuser failed to be installed. :/

Hi all, Im new to this site and to Android, I was an iPhone user for a long time and could do anything with it, jailbreak etc. had it all hacked, but got fed up of apple so I bought myself a Motorola Razr i XT890 and I love it. I rooted it straight away and no problems. As im new to this id like someone to point me in the right direction of where to find custom ROMs? Would i be right in saying I cant get clockwordmod recovery on my model and therefore cant get/install custom ROMs?
Just a quick Google search will return some results for roms (droid razr . com is a good site) Otherwise though you do need safestrap in order to flash roms. (again just Google it) anything else you need, just look through the forums and you'll find it.
And might I suggest simplex as a rom.

Hello XDA Team. I am new here.
I am having HTC Explorer with default OS version of 2.3.5 GingerBread ( I know there are many updates out there).
Yesterday only I download Modern Combat 2 with its data. Now when I try to run it, it says that "Device is not Compatible with this Game, Please ask for Refund." Thats really annoying.
I know there is a fix something called build.prop where we have to edit some model name and brands and all. But for that I need to root my Phone.
But I don't want to root my phone at all. Is there any other way to Run MC2 on my HTC Explorer??
Thank You.
