If u want very good audio quality, great interface and customizations - PowerAmp !
I use powerAmp. Before that I used playerpro. Playerpro has great UI whereas poweramp has more features.

Everybody is always talking about Poweramp or Neutron.
I don't agree, I've tried almost all the main players and decided Gonemad is the best one. It's the only one with perfect gapless (have never tried to listen to Pink Floyd the Wall? Neutron and many other players sometimes put small "ticks"between tracks even if they claim to have precise gapless sound). The UI is simple and clear. There are many many options, the audio is great.
Try it by yourself.

This is just a matter of personal taste, the best you will get here is "suggestions".
I've tried Poweramp, winamp,N7player, Zplayer, playerpro, TTPod and few others, if you want a clear answer you might want to tell us what you are looking for in a player ( Effects ? Lyrics ? folders ? Battery ? etc.)

Like the title says, what's your music player of choice on your G2x?
Personally, I use Poweramp because of the Eq, folder based playback, and it looks very nice.

On the stock Froyo ROM, I was able to use the camera while listening to music with Poweramp.

I'm using MIUI for Rom now and the music player is just ok... same with Google Music. I actually liked the Sense 3.5 music player from my Incredible, the beats by dre setting actually did make for good sound. I'm curious what you guys use, I'd rather not pay for an app since I'm just using my phone more like an iPod.

You need a kernel with voodoo or buy the voodoo app and you'll love the new sound it provides.

Get the voodoo kernel and app and try ttpod from the market. Best free player out there. Even has lyrics support like none other.

None of the equalizers from the market work,idk if it's just my rom (xboarders quickwiz) or not, only the stock music player's eq works, if there any way to get the others to work, thanks

If I play any music off my phone I used to use the Miui Music player on my old phone (Xperia PLAY), but now on the Nexus 5 I use the Walkman music player. Although if I want to listen to all my music collection from home I use the pogoplug app and stream any music or movies from home server to where ever I am.
