You can use juopunut bear as opposed to revolutionary, it works for hboot 1.29...

Enable smart flash in recovery...
If u r trying to flash ics Rom then u required ics firmware 3.33

If you don't already have it please download 4ext recovery. Then you will be able to enable smart flash. Because your S on you must use smart flash every time you flash a rom. Also make sure you have correct firmware as said in above post. Because your s on you must flash a bit differently than us with s off. I'm going to send you a link to flashing roms with s on. Skip down to where it talks about smart flash. This link will also show you how to permanently enable smart flash. Hope this is helpful. Hi,
What ROM did you try to install?
You are on a GingerBread firmware.
You cannot load any ICS ROMS.
And you cannot change firmware or radio with s-on.
S-off for you would be possible using Revolutioary.

S-ON? No. You'll need to S-OFF if you want to downgrade.
Only S–Off let me flash this Rom ?
And., do I flash this RUU normally or by SD Card?

You'll need to S-OFF to go back to 3.32.
You run the RUU on windows as it's an executable, not through recovery.

You don't need to download a kernel for your ROM if you don't want to. The ROM you have probably already includes a kernel. Also, don't randomly flash kernels that aren't compatible with your ROM/phone. It may brick the device. You may download a custom kernel if you want, but make sure you download the right one.
The kernel is like the "brain" of the phone.

if you still want it then:
are you rooted?
if not then use the one click root tool from here(nothing else)

Now I want to install cyanogenmod and I need s-off. But when I search online, the only thing I saw how to s-off is to do the wire trick.
I don't want to do s-off in terms of hardware.
Is there any way to s-off using any softwares like last time we did in gingerbread?
Please reply me at least whether yes or no! I will be looking forward to the replies.

You dont need S-Off just to flash custom ROM. You just need Unlocked bootloader and 4EXT Recovery to flash custom ROM being S-On. And for S-Off, the wire trick is the only method to achieve S-Off with 1.2X hboots

Now the recovery I got is ClockworkMod Recovery Touch v5.8.0.9
Last time I flashed the Cyanogenmod Zip from the ClockworkMod Recovery, it stopped during the boot stage.
As you two said, if I use 4ext recovery, that problem will be gone, right?
So can you post any link to tutorials or videos to install 4ext recovery?
And also I don't know what is smartflash.
