Does anyone have an AOSP keyboard that they know will work 100% with the latest Synergy ROM? I chose the AOSP Keyboard in Aroma when I installed the ROM and thought there were no problems until last night when I realized I couldn't receive picture messages or send them. I went through the theme and mod forum, but of all the ones I found, most of them seemed to be for Clean-ROM or were inverted for another ROM. Any help would be fabulous.

The keyboard has nothing to do with the MMS not working. It won't matter what keyboard you use as it is likely a bug in the ROM that is causing MMS not to work.

Before i flash cm9 i could call and send sms sliding contacts name in right or left direction now i cant. I dont know if its about touchwiz o what.. how could i solve this?? Or install touchwiz 4.0 im using last entropy cm9 firmware. Sorry my bad english

Its not about touchwiz launcher...its deeper then that...
Its built into the samsung stock contacts app as well as the frameworks...so you are out of luck (none of the ics roms have stock contacts as we have no compatible version or the twframework to support it...)
However (not positive) you can probably download a different contacts app from the play store that allows the swiping...then just uninstall the one that came with the rom

The option that you are looking for is in Samsung Gingerbread.
I'm not sure if that was built into CM9

No. Swiping changes columns. Contacts swipe to left will move over to favorites column

Yeah i know its in gb roms.. i've seen it on sgs2 using ics.. so i thought it could be in this rom too.. its not a big deal, just was wondering why i could* use it

Running Synergy and love it.. just miss having emoji. Any way to get it back without a 3rd party SMS app? I dont like 3rd party because the darn LED doesn't work right.

I know Jelly Bean got it. I'm on AOKP right now but I can't seem to get the emoji dictionary to stick :/ I think emojis is a 4.1 thing

nah jellybean has fake emojis. they suck. Wait till CM10 merges the emoji mms apk, it works well on there. ( had it on my gnex )

Well thats your opinion but coming from a long time iOS user they aren't that bad. They're smaller and black and sometimes they're kinda hard to figure out what the emoji is but for the most part its pretty good

Not with the stock Samsung MMS app, but I believe the stock Google MMS app supports emoji, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1728308. Personally, I use the blacked out version from page 7 of the same thread, http://rootzwiki.com/topic/29460-inverted-inverted-g-apps-update-7-5-new-playstore-ver-3713-and-mms-app/. It's a bit quirky but certainly better than the Samsung MMS app.
any update on this? I actually really like the Touchwiz mms app haha but when i'm using something like instagram and someone comments with emojis, i can't see them.

Nice app..lightweight and fast..id love to have the blue ics theme though..stock sms in newest at n t leak doesnt have delivery reports thats why i wanted this..

Came here to post that. It's a littttttle buggy right now, I hope it gets better because I LOVE JB's stock mms app, it's great. Gosms is okay but way too bloated.
I think this belongs here under apps but does anybody know of a quality emoji keyboard? I'm running aokp and now that I can see them I would like to use them also. So far the only one I have really found is multi ling keyboard and I don't really like it much.

Not built in the keyboard, but GoSMS offers emojis.
I use it without problems (Except for the new ones iOS just got with their last update)

If u want them in SMS get chomp SMS from play store also the emoji add on has newest iOS emojis and quick reply

I'd mainly like them for twitter. I did like how aokp jb had an add emoji option in the options menu for messaging though.
I was using the design rifts team blackout apps for a while but it appears they have stopped updating. Is Anyone still working on inverted apps?
I'd look into the ultima rom team! I use their inverted hangouts app and its SUPER clean..they also offer other basic inverted apps via their website: http://ultimarom.com/themed-apps/browse/

Team Black out does some great stuff. This is just what I've found. In order to get the latest versions of their blacked out app you'll need to install the blacked out updater app. Its not on the play store anymore so you'll need to download the apk. Once installed, go to the Beta app section. There you'll find the latest versions of popular apps (at least now).

Yeah they do really good work as well. I just always had a hard time telling the difference between an unread/read message since it only bolds the letters (which are white). I also don't think I was too fond of their emoji's. But for OP, the more options, the better!

I grabbed hangouts and google now
EDIT: Holy flyingspagettimonster this hangouts is ugly, restoring backup. The package for google now did nothing, probably for the better after seeing hangouts
I'd like to black out the dialer. The white is a little too much.
