Is anyone still making blacked out/inverted apps - Moto X Themes and Apps

I was using the design rifts team blackout apps for a while but it appears they have stopped updating. Is Anyone still working on inverted apps?

I'd look into the ultima rom team! I use their inverted hangouts app and its SUPER clean..they also offer other basic inverted apps via their website: http://ultimarom.com/themed-apps/browse/

Team Black out does some great stuff. This is just what I've found. In order to get the latest versions of their blacked out app you'll need to install the blacked out updater app. Its not on the play store anymore so you'll need to download the apk. Once installed, go to the Beta app section. There you'll find the latest versions of popular apps (at least now).

Yeah they do really good work as well. I just always had a hard time telling the difference between an unread/read message since it only bolds the letters (which are white). I also don't think I was too fond of their emoji's. But for OP, the more options, the better!

Blacked out apps.

Can you use this with stock ROMs?

Some things yes, some things no.

All I really care about is blacking out chrome. White web pages are hard to read at night

The cyanogenmod MMS app works on stock. I am using an inverted one I made myself.

Do you have a link?

A quick search brought me here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2490100
Has the latest hangouts version, newer than the other two listed earlier in this thread.
I grabbed hangouts and google now
EDIT: Holy flyingspagettimonster this hangouts is ugly, restoring backup. The package for google now did nothing, probably for the better after seeing hangouts

I'd like to black out the dialer. The white is a little too much.

No such problem for me. Additional details?
How does one go about blocking the update on a none root phone?
I don't like the fact that mixes the purchased with all and makes it hard to look thru.
My god i hate this update. I hate the fact that i have to scroll through a lot of rubish apps i've installed in the past, just to check and find my purchased apps. God damnit Google...

Dark Themed Google Apps - Link Included

Found this last week. You can download apps in a black or dark theme. Be advised some will say ICS only, there is even the option to download all as a flashable zip to your phone. All apps are free.
Here is the link:

** I take zero credit in this, simply sharing what I found. If you wish to thank anyone thank the people at the link above...send them an email or something and say thank you.

I used the XDA app, then went to the link in my first post and it popped right up with a nice mobile look and let me download what I wanted, Google Talk, Voice, and Google PLAY. You do have to select a version of what you want to download... ex... Google Market 3.7.15 (or whatever version is latest)
I just downloaded the above apps not 5 minutes ago and they worked fine..
Thanks man.
Downloaded the black play store and ics keyboard and the keyboard looks great.

[APP] Older versions of Facebook

As we all know, Facebook for Android sucks. 1.9.12 was the last that worked for me allowing sharing, statuses, etc before the latest version broke all that.
The following link contains downloads of old versions.
Delete current Facebook for Android (if latest)
DL apk and install like normal
DO NOT UPDATE through play store when it says you have an update. You'll be back at the new crap version.

Android apps help.

Recently I've made some very simple apps on the android market and I'm looking for any simple apps that I can make. It's going to be free so I'm not going to make money from it. If I use your idea than I will put your Twitter name if you give it to me and your xda username in the app it self and I will also send you the app before it's released on the market. Thanks from a 13 year old amature developer.

Or you could make a clock, that deletes one randomly picked app if you press snooze more than (pick a number here) times. This would definietly wake people up.

Google+ Home is definitely not a simple app, and would need months of development with Trial And Error. He asked for an idea for a simple app.
But your idea is great for a developer willing to make something big

Any advise on black.

I'm looking for an app or something that will give me a black theme, icons, most importantly when I open an app (like CNN, PlayStore, etc.) It will have a black background with white text.
I tried using the inversion setting but is then trows off my already black wallpaper to looking white and stuff. I have vision issue which is why I am looking for this.
I am running stock but am rooted. I was Running the carbon rom for this but got tired of installing nightlies for hammerhead. I'm just going to wait until they have a production version.
Thanks in advance,
Angel

Just curious, but is the reason for wanting black everything to try and conserve battery life? Because as far as I know that only works for AMOLED displays.

To your problem:
Install a Rom with inverted ui like mahdi or slimkat and flash the slim gapps. The alomst everything is a nice dark black

Search black icons in the store, heres one recommendation https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.threekzerothree.softinsetroundicons.black
Use slimROM, a lot of people have this thing for black and holo blue and that is what slim uses, and you can enable darkslim or whatever. I think they have a milestone so you can load that and it will be stable. http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/orig-development/rom-slimkat-hammerhead-t2511512
Go for Mahdi ROM and flash Slim GAPS with it.

Check out team black out. They have flashable zips for tons of apps even for Google now. That way you can keep stock Rom and the okay Google functionality and have blacked out apps. That's what I have, and it's awesome.

BTW if you want a standard rom in black and white with no blue! Try "Elixr" good stock and fully black and white, when you add icons

You already have the Team Blacked Out link so here is a more obscure theming app. This app allows you to override the colors on most Web pages. It works with both browsers and apps that display html pages within the app itself (eg. Flipboard). I use it on both my Nexus 5&10. Read how it works and how to install here:
[HOW-TO] Blacked out theme effect for Web pages (needs root)
A theme able alternative to YouTube which has some additional features is called Viral. Find it on the play store. That app allows no end of UI Color theming.
You can also use the XPosed framework and two modules (Gravity Box and HKTheme Manager) to implement dark themes including Color finer tuning nav and status bars. Here is a dark theme on the playstore which works with HKTheme Manager.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/theme-black-blue-infinitum-theme-t2597690
Good luck
I like to thank everyone for their suggestions. Based on all the information everyone contributed to this thread I was able to customize my phone to work with the dark themes. Again this was requested because of some vision issues I have and despite one individual who decided to rant off without reading why I requested this, everyone else's suggestions help me set up my phone to work perfectly. Thank you all again.
