Place the update.zip on your external sd card.
Wasnt working, got it tho. Installed CWM, flashed it. (After it took me awhile to figure out the CWM Recovery buttons :-/ ) Thanks for the help anyway.

You installed CWM before you flashed it?
Used fastboot to flash the CWM recovery.img then flashed the ICS leak update.zip from the sdcard, I couldn't get it to flash the update.zip without CWM for some reason

So that means the process for unlocking the bootloader for ICS works on HC. Great find (although you almost ended up with a paperweight ).
i did the same as the OP and I've tried the reset button and it doesn't seem to want to work.
Any help would be appreciated.

I can reboot and enter CWM but it seems nothing is mounting, the external nor internal files/folders seem to not want to mount but I get on CWM juss fine

I can get into APX mode but no fastboot. And as you know you need the CPU ID to get through EUUs, I'm not sure how to get the CPU ID number.
Hello, I have a similar problem, I can enter in APX mode, I have CPUID and I have SBK key but I can not do anything because give me a error like...:can not write to usb....
any idea please?

Can I ask how you got the SBK? That's not available for the A100. The method used for the A500 doesn't work on the A100 bootloader either. If the device is stuck in APX mode then it's bricked and will need to be sent to Acer for repair or a motherboard replacement will need done by yourself or someone you take it to.

Did you replace the boot.img in the zip file with the fxp 151 boot.img as well? If not, you have again unknowingly flashed corrupted boot.img.
Just fastboot 151 boot.img again
For stock ROM enter flashmode, download ftf, flash with flashtool.

why you didn't mention it first time ???
and this time my phone is not blinking a single light so i can't boot my phone into flashmode.. so what to do now ???
If you looked through the fxp thread, just the last couple of pages, you would have figured it out. How was I to know you just saw instructions in first post and decided to flash rom?
Are you pressing power + volume down and holding them when phone is switched off? Green led should blink

I too have noticed the issues with this rom and am now having difficulties getting flashtool to flash my phone back to stock rom. I am planning some minor tweaks to stock once i get it back, any ideas on why flashtool is sticking at 0% and wont flash my phone?
FYI I have left it for hours and it still stuck at 0% so its not that Im not giving it chance, also i have tried 2 separate USB ports and 2 PC's other than this one so i think its something phone based not PC based...
I sort out my problem myself.. i flash new gapps and restart my phone twice and now everything is better than OK.
I had switched off my phone for some days and switched it on today. the phone wont boot, gets stuck at htc logo. I CAN go into bootloader but when i try to get into recovery, i get a blank screen. please help

Fellas try flashing another recovery. Or download again this one that you currently have and flash this again
Which recovery?? Twrp 2.5??

tried flashing both twrp and cwm. still giving me a blank screen when i try to boot into recovery
ok im going to try to go back to ruu and flash recovery again. can some1 give me the link to the thread containing all the ruu?
No need to flash the RUU.. Just reflash the recovery using
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
yeah, when i tried that and it says fastboot is not recognized as internal or external command. :\

That means fastboot is not installed... Or is not recognized..
Go to the original android development section, and download fastboot for windows from the twrp recovery thread..
And also download twrp 2.5.0.0 from the same thread(bith links are in the 1st post)..
Extract both zips in a folder, then from cmd prompt, navigate to that folder, and from there, run
Code:
fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
If you have the android sdk installed, run an update, to get the newest version of fastboot(not needed) and then run the "fastboot flash.." command..

Try again if it doesnt work ... Sometimes after a freshly flashing the recovery it gets stuck at teamwin splashscreen.. then just remove battery and by using the power and vol button combo boot into bootloader and then into recovery. If its still getting stuck at teamwin logo.. try redownloading the recovery.img.. this time from the thread..and flash it again.. if it still doesnt work .. then go to the Rooting tutorial by jaggyjags and flash the A310e recovery using the bat file.. That must do the trick.
when i reflashed and tried to go into recovery, first it goes to splashscreen then suddenly goes blank and then comes back to splashscreen and gets stuck there. when i tried the jaggyjags recovery it goes blank. how could have something gone so wrong just coz i switched off my phone for a few days? i was running cm9 build 14 and yannou cwm5. now nothing seems to work. any other suggestions?

Try removing SD card and booting into recovery. If it enters into recovery fully , electrocute your SDcard by putting it back in,while inside recovery ,then do what you have to.
If all doesn't work ,could be a burnt recovery ..You May try this.. not sure about exact code.
Code:
fastboot boot recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
You need twrp 2 5 recovery.img in /SDcard
Complete cute prince recovery procedure and try booting your Rom. You will not be able Flash any other recovery if you've actually burnt it. Only way is by the above code.. If your Rom boots, read twrp thread fully.

Hi,
Download a working boot.img of a kernel/sense ROM
Then put it in main folder of adb stuffs, then open command prompt and navigate there, while your phone is connected via usb in bootloader, then type this:

Here is a guide on flashing boot.img
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1631861
Read the flashing boot.img section in this thread
Also since you are flashing with S-On, I would suggest you follow the other stuff in this thread too...specially the part about using 4EXT recovery
I too had this problem when I flashed my first rom.....it is because our phone is S-On and cannot update the boot partition on its own...it has to be done manually....the best solution to this problem is using 4EXT recovery

Sir, dont know how to go to the download mode manually & my phone is also not connecting to my lappy. ???????
This will solve your problem.....xD
Just follow this method ...
1. Download and Put this attached file in external SD
2. Install this zip using CWM recovery..
3. Turn off your mobile through CWM advanced menu or by pulling out battery..
4. now enter into bootloader mode using ( vol down+menu+power )
5. Reinstall CWM recovery using Odin.. ( don't worry this you will be connected to Odin trust me....)
6. Install new Roms or ignore it if you dont want...
All the best.........xD
Please note that this problem comes most from force recovary restart by any apps......so enter into CWM through buttons is safe .

Try mounting system it helped for me. If it has not helped, flash stock revovery using odin and remember NEVER reboot to recovery on core using any app script. Flash cwm again after you roll back to stock recovery and use three button combo first hold vol up then home and then power button and hold it till the heptic feedback (vibration continues) and to enter download mode or we say bootloader mode for odin just hold vok down key insted vol up key.

I think you are using volume up+power+home buttons that will take you to recovery mode..
try using power down+power+home buttons.

I have updated my posts..... Now people who are stuck in cwm recovery will have no problem
Sent from my GT-I8262 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
hi guys
I'm stuck at download mode. Odin does not recognize the phone, but the computer does. drivers are properly installed.
I have i8262. I rooted the phone with framaroot. When I got stuck into recovery I installed CWM_De_Loaper.zip.
Now I'm stuck to download mode and Odin does not see the phone. No recovery no nothing.
I have to say that since the first time I got the phone everything goes wrong. I gave it to support and they flashed stock rom already one time. I couldn't do it because Odin does not recognize the device (while drivers are properly installed).
I don't know if I missed anything. I'm desperate. HELP.
Thanks
Well, I have sorted it out. I'm not sure what the problem was though...
It worked on another computer. Drivers are properly installed to both of them. KIES is not installed on the computer that didn't work and I suspect USB problems as well.
I cannot be sure of the nature of the problem...
Thanks anyway
