Hi, I know how to change the operations that the keys are editing the file. Kl which is located in / system / usr / keylayout. Kl, however I would like to set the home button so that the first click run BACK to double click to run HOME and holding another operation ... does anyone know where to find the file to edit that contains this information? thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english but I'm Italian
But what file I need to change? which contains the operations that the home button does? that is, as I find them with root explorer?

Found an alternative way to mod buttons You have to edit the file named mtk-kpd.kl located in /system/usr/keylayout
Key 113 -> MUTE
Key 115 -> VOLUME_UP
Key 114 -> VOLUME_DOWN
Key 102 -> HOME
Change commands to whatever you like and the physical buttons will change their behaviour. Don't forget to reboot (complete reboot, not just the Android one, as long as it only restart the Java VM) in order to apply the changes
I remapped my buttons as follows:
Key 113 -> MENU
Key 115 -> HOME
Key 114 -> VOLUME_DOWN (i click VOLUME_DOWN and the use the Android built-in touchscreen interface to change the volume)
Key 102 -> BACK

I think so..Got to /Windows/ directory and look for the file - Short_AP1.lnk..Copy-Paste to PC and open with Notepad and change the values there..you might need to play with it a little to get it work.

This registry-key defines the main-menu order:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Startmenu
The key 'order' contains the links of each menu item
I have Sense 2.5 installed on my phone and comm manager, but the wifi switch does not work, is there a fix for this? if there is could anyone uplaod it?
Go to key in registy "HKLM\Software\Drivers\WLAN" and copy the value from 'AdapterName" string. Now go to key in registry "HKLM\Software\HTC\CommManager\WLAN" and edit "DeviceName" string. You see there value like this: "{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006}\TNETW12511". Delete the last part of this value ("TNETW12511") and past the value "AdapterName" which you copy at end. Make soft reset and that is all. Now Wifi button on your device should work properly

if you are using windows 7, use compatibility mode (windows xp)
This is confirmed working with "Samsung Blackjack 2 Windows Mobile 6.5"
Download the attached file. "lock.zip"
Extract the "exe" file and put it in the "\Windows" Directory
In the registry, go to: "HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSQuickApp"
Change the string "1" value from "quickapp.exe" to "lock.exe"
Save and there you go! Your power button is now the lock button.

I've succeeded in installing 1.6 on my SD.
But when I tried the latest version from sourceforge, I found some problems.
I've been seeing the "hold down volume up or dpad center to launch installer" message again and agan. but I tried every keys, it didn't work.
The files in my SD root are:
androidinstall.tgz
default.txt
haret.exe
initrd.gz
zImage
zImage-eclair

I chose the right default.txt

I made it!!!!!!!!!!
u must hold the key right after u see the scrolling text.
It could be TOO LATE if u push the keys AFTER u see the prompt "hold down volume up or dpad center to launch installer"
