Hi. What type of cases are the best that fully protects the phone? I have read that OtterBox silicone cases are good. Or maybe there are better cases than the OtterBox and silicone?

Hi,
About cases, it matters how much you want to spend. I myself have bought a Brown Sena Ultraslim Pouch which is very stylish & high quality.
Here a few websites:
www.senacases.com
www.noreve.com/
www.vajacases.com
www.pdair.com/
These companies are the best for high quality cases
Glad I could help

I just got the case-mate 2 part case, $30 plus 'free' screen protector. Not a ton of grip, but it's nice with the hard back, over a rubber case for extra shock protection.
All the holes line up great and doesn't cover the sensors at all.

Hi. I wonder if custom nexus one cases are perfect fit for the desire?
One more for that list would be www.fortte.com
I had a case from there for xperia. Pricey but extremely high quality leather and build quality.
I see they do a slim case similar to the sena for the nexus one.
Cheers
I have been using the Case Mate Tough Case for about a week and it's awesome. It's the closest thing you'll get to an Otterbox Commuter case. One thing I noticed which I found useful was that is has a nice rubber lip around the front edge of the phone which gives your fingers a great sense of spacial boundaries so when you hold the phone your fingers aren't accidently touching parts of the screen and bugging it out. I found the screen to do that a lot in landscape mode when I used my phone without a case - I also have large hand.

The dimension of the Desire is slightly different. Go to www.GSMARENA.com & compare the the dimensions. I think it might still fit.
I don't know what type of case to get.
I know there are 2 or 3 main types being:
Rubber
Silicone
Plastic
I want one that will offer the most protection with the least amount of bulk. Less bulk being the most important. Never had a phone worth buying a case for but this is!
EDIT: I know there's leather but that way to bulky!
then the silicon type is for you, it offers more protection.
i've not seen any case made of rubber.
did you check out the other topic about cases?

Which would be?
Wonder how long Otterbox will take to make one for the SGS. I want some defender or commuter series goodness Silicon on the inside, and a hard plastic shell on the outside.

Spigen Slim Armor View or OtterBox Defender?
Which case is better /in droptest & everyday life/?
It is very important to me, because I would like to buy better one
Please, vote!
The otterbox defender is a more protecting case than the spigen slim armor case...if you drop your phones alot and you dont want to have to much expenses on always repairing the device i suggest the otterbox defender case

Yeah, I allready watched some videos on YouTube with Otterbox. They are very good, but I can't compare it to Spigen Armor View, because I can't find anything like "droptest S4" in this case. It's important to me to keep my superamoled screen & gorrila glass on S4 after something bad happens. That's why I wonder about Spigen View Case. Maybe it's more protective for stones when it drop on front face?
I currently use a Slim Armor with a Nano Slim Glass Screen protector and I love it, now it also depends if you drop your device a lot, I usually dont or even hardly ever do, but im sure if I drop it with this combo that I have i'll be OK.
There's a reason why there isn't any drop tests for the slim armor, it's because it's not that protective. It's good to protect the back and sides from everyday use, but for drops, not so much.

Maybe just the slim armor, but the slim armor view protects all of the sides when closed.
The Slim Armour view is just the same about the regular slim Armour but just with a face cover..and the cover is there to just only cover the screen..nothing more..

Are you saying it's not worth the 50 bucks?
I'd used Spigen Slim Armor View for about a month and I liked it very much. But after official KK 4.4.2 update, the home button on the front cover is no longer working (I guess Samsung had their S-View cover in mind). So I returned it the retailer and awaiting for Otterbox Defender as a replacement (credits to MobileFun). I've read a lot of positive reviews about it. :good:
Is there any other good S-View case, aside from the official samsung one?

I've seen a few out there, the one at the below link is quite decent looking and offers some more functionality over the Samsung one.

Thanks but it seems a bit expensive... for that I would prefer to buy a fake black matte one from AliExpress for 5 bucks shipped.

I have the OtterBox defender and love it. Also, why buy from Amazon? I got mine at walmart for like 39.88 with tax.

I had the Spigen for my S4 and absolutely loved it. But, for my S5 I went for this one. I like it a lot and it is quite rugged. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IEFUC4C/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have both the Otterbox Commuter and Spigen Tough Armor Case. I use the Otterbox if I'm going to be outdoors at the beach or in the sand dunes 4 wheeling. It's bulky but does a better job at protecting the phone from the elements. However, the Otterbox case is NOT waterproof so keep that in mind. I use the Spigen case when I'm going to be in the office or indoors most of the time. They are slimmer and fits better in my pocket.
Seeing as our phones are waterproof and dustproof (for the most part anyway), the case not having that distinction isn't very important.
That being said, I have that exact Spigen case, and the only complaint I have so far is there's no beltclip for it. If that's important, get a case with a holster, otherwise, the Spigen works just fine. The Otterbox adds too much bulk for me..

Whatever anybody does, do not get the OtterBox preserver case. HORRIBLE! The two pieces that "snap" together come apart VERY easily. Pathetic.
I have the Galaxy Note 4, I love outdoor activities and I bring the Galaxy Note 4 with me always, I have the Rugged Case for Galaxy Note 4, i-Blason Armorbox Dual Layer Hybrid Full-body Protective Case to protect my phone from bumps and other accidental drop when I do some activities, and it serves me well, I wonder if what are other alternatives for it, I would love to have one but reluctant to buy other brands, any recommendation based on your personal experience?
Here is the one that I bought
, i-Blason Armorbox Dual Layer Hybrid Full-body Protective Case
Can anyone suggest me another one?
Otterbox Defender...THE last case your Note4 will ever be in.

+1 for the Otterbox Defender, the commuter is also a perfect case for the Note 4.

I dunno where you got that info from. I've had the defender on mine since day one and no problems with it at all.
I don't know how you guys can put such an ugly bulky case on something so beautiful. Trust me, I'm all about protection, I've never cracked a phone before (*knock on wood*) but I feel like putting something like this iBlason case or the traditional OtterBox just covers up the true beauty of the phone. I usually go with a Spigen case (good protection, yet not as bulky). This time around I'm going for the Ringke Slim case with a wrist strap.

I understand where you're coming from and I too find the Ringke slim case exceptional in terms of looks and minor protection. But after using it for a whole month, I finally caved in and ordered an Otterbox Defender. I just don't want to be afraid of damaging my phone. Being able to use it with an extra peace of mind is worth sacrificing the appearance in my opinion. After all, you can always take it out of the case and it'll still be the beautiful, slim phone you purchased. But each to their own, I can only speak for myself.

Is Tech Armor for rugged case a good buy?
I have the UAG and the Otterbox Defender for mine. I used a UAG on my Note 2 for 2 years and was completely satisfied and feel that it is a solid case. However, I like the amount of protection the Otterbox Defender gives and I also like the way it adds some bulk to the phone. It seems easier to hold.
That being said, it does not fit well in my pocket and I've actually started using a belt clip (included with the case) for the first time. The belt clip also doubles as a stand for your phone when you are charging it.
