That to a degree is kinda missing my point, something like this (which with todays government climate on data) will possibly migrate abroad, making Dev sites like this become underground.
Something that can have such an impact, even if I can make a contribution or not, wish I knew sooner (*hint* vital site e-mail) I could have had people get to sign it.
Hope something like this gets a more Site-Wide notification

There is an Awesome app called Phonebeag. Search for it on the Market, but download it from there website. So that it will not show up in her market downloads. Excellent app that will give you word for word Sms, Mms, Gps, call log, even apps downloaded and even every website pages Visited.
Warning you will find out things you might wish you never found out... YMMV

Does anyone else have a problem with the sidekick 4g screen not responding to touch sometimes, and goes crazy, I have to lock and unlock just to touch the screen?

Yep, I see that same issue, I think it may be the touch driver crashing, but haven't had the time/motivation to test and find out if that's the actual issue.
I have that problem constantly. Go to answer a call and discover that the touch screen is dead despite the screen being on.

I've had the same issue, and I reserched it and did a few test it is the touch drivers crashing due to a lack of memory the 2.2.1 default leaks memory like a sive so use a task manager or memory booster or flash a new rom lol you'll see it stop

Oh okay I just downloaded memory booster full from black market, I only had 15% memory free and just got this rom, it free up a lot of memory from leaks I'm gonna see if I have his problem now

I've had constant problems with the touchscreen on the SK4G. Any amount of sweat/moisture and it didn't work properly, had phantom movements, etc. I put a screen protector on it and it's not so fidgity now, but my old G1 worked like a charm compared to this thing. I don't know why it's so bad... is this a different/cheaper/crappier touchscreen technology than the G1???

Did you turn the optical trackpad off? On mine it would always be going crazy when I took the phone outside on a bright sunny day.

I agree its not apple or microsoft, but do keep in mind that paid apps you don't have to buy and not buying an app and pirating it is like stealing from your locan mini mart it is open sorce not take what you want when you want an crook is a crook. Just like it isn't fair to charge you for "something to make your phone work" its not fair you take money out of a developers pockt, and no personal attacks just speaking truth.

Sorry to revive an old thread, thought I was going mental for a bit cause I just got this as a beater phone till my upgrade. But do I really need to use a TM to make this problem stop?
Yeah I've also seen its a driver problem. This happens a lot, unfortunately there is nothing we can do. Lock/unlock works but is very annoying.

With the whole Motorola takeover, Google should soon have enough patents to do some damage to Apple. Why don't these companies just put their money towards making better equipment to compete with, instead of all these lawyer fees to just ban the competition..it's pathetic. LOL Apple patent trolling is cute. Android isn't just a 3rd party OS anymore (if ever). Let's remember that Android is Google's baby, as one of the comments under the link suggested. In what world is Apple going to "dominate" Google? Android, a small part of Google, is in competition with Apple. Studies also suggest Android is "finally" more popular and more used than iOS and its devices. Obviously if Android fell, Apple would rule the world...but this is all hypothetical on a thesis that Android is its own company, not belonging to one tech giant- Google.
Also if Google/Android do struggle, so do Samsung, HTC, Motorola (the part not owned by Google), LG, etc. At the end of the day it's Apple vs. all of these companies
