Some FAQ made by me :
1/ Q: Why do I need this?
A: It's hardware-accelerated, which mean it's smooth. I'm using it on MiniCM9, with "Force GPU rendering" enabled, and this modded Whatsapp is much smoother than the original version.
2/ Q: Anything other attraction?
A: It's Holo themed, which means it will matches your CM9/10 ROM. The UI has been re-designed, it's much more beautiful now.
3/ Q: I'm not using Whatsapp, how can I join the party?
A: You should install official Whatsapp, register your number with it, and to be safe, send some messages. Then you follow the "How to install" guide. The reason for this mess is you can't register with a modified version of Whatsapp.
4/ Q: Are there any bugs?
A: So far, no bugs is reported. I personally use it heavily, and I'm very satisfied with it.
5/ Q: What to expect/ not expect?
A: The project have just been revived, and it's now under very fast development. Currently, the emoji menu is still laggy. And don't expect butter, it's smooth, but it's still limited by our phone's weak spec. Also, hardware acceleration uses more RAM, so it's expected to see whatsapp service now uses ~30MB of RAM instead of ~20MB.
6/ Q: How can I compare this version vs the official one?
A: Once you install Whatsapp Holo, you need to enable "Force GPU rendering" in system setting. So you can leave "Force GPU rendering" disable, and try to scroll in some chat. And then enable it, and scroll again. You will see the different.
This is highly recommended by me, and if it's not good, I don't recommend it :highfive:. So if you have listened to my advice/ recommendations before, don't hesitate to try this .

....
its better to have such apps which blend into cm9/10....
thx bro

2. midlet manager - -- deleted .... install separately or not install at all
3. clearvue - deleted --- extremely buggy and slow software .. if you need this install separately
4. Backlight button -- works just bind action for it

Really would like to try your V1.01, but I can't run without Flash Disk for extra storage. Will test your version with FD when it comes. Cheers!

We all know that once you have lots of apps, it could be very frustrating looking for your favorite apps all the time, or constantly reorganizing your home page to have your most used apps.
This app is all about making your life easier by adapting your apps use habits and organize your apps by its usage.
My Top Apps monitors the apps that you use and provides quick access to the apps you used recently, most used apps or the apps that you use for the longest duration.
My Top Apps offers a launcher-style view, details view or a timeline view of the apps you use, and a set of widgets so you will never have to customize your home page with your favorite apps.
The app is available for download on the Android market or AppBrain.
Detailed user guide is available here.
nice app to add to your portfolio. i've downloaded it and giving it a try. i like the ignore apps feature with MRU, keeps my handy apps even handier. i might just have to get rid of my folders now, i'll be sure to leave an appropriate rating in about a week.
just for my sake, LRU is only based on last use; MRU is based on the number of uses; and Pro gets an additional ordering based on total time used. is this correct?
edit: sorry, missed the link to your blog, which covers that question clearly.. thanks

Scrollable widgets are painfully slow.
Same as 4 version
Activated fine, but side dock doesn't work. It tries to get me to download Prime (which, remember, I already have because of this), and I can't. Bug? I think so.
EDIT: And there's still ads.
I activated it but I have a question. if I back up with titanium and I delete it, can I install again as prime version ? Because I am using another launcher now.
Thanks.Which activity is for the app drawer? I'm trying to set my navigation functions and can't seem to find it

I don't suppose this update added support for overlapping widgets....?

[APP][4.1+][NO ROOT]DPI Changer

Sometimes you just don't like the size of the items on your screen. If you're lucky, your phone's software has its own DPI changer of sorts, where you can choose among a few different presets, but what if you want more options, or you aren't one of the lucky few with that feature?
Well, this app aims to fix that problem on any Android device running 4.1 or later. There are quite a few apps out there that change your DPI, but this one doesn't actually require root, even if you aren't running Nougat. You will have to reboot if you aren't rooted, but hey, that's better than being around a computer all the time to use ADB, right?
There are instructions in the app for the setup and usage.
IMPORTANT:
- I don't know if this will work on every device running Android 4.1+. I was able to test it on an emulator running 4.1, along with various LG and Samsung devices on Marshmallow and Nougat, but that obviously doesn't include everything. Send some feedback if it isn't working for you, and include your device + Android version.
- Non-root mode requires you to execute a one-time ADB command (unless you uninstall and reinstall the app). From then on, all you'll need is a reboot.
- Avoid setting the DPI below 72. I don't specifically know what happens, but I know Android tools prevent this from happening by default. I will build the limit into this app in a future update.

@ProGuy1 if you can use ADB to change your DPI, that's great! But some people don't know how or don't have constant access to a computer. I figured rebooting would be more convenient than finding a computer with ADB.
Also, devices on 4.3 and above no longer need to reboot, whether rooted or not.
@S. Loranca You can certainly translate it if you want. The source code is on GitHub. Look in `/res/values/strings.xml`.

Thanks for making this! I saw the "Display Size" setting missing on my new Xiaomi phablet; a few apps I tried on the play store failed, but this app works perfectly.
For reasons you'll see soon, I'm removing this project from XDA and closing the thread. If you have the app right now, email me or PM me with any questions.

Hi there,
I'm so glad I came across your post. I've been trying to figure out how this feature works in my unrooted Lenovo M10 HD 2ndGen tablet. I see it in Settings/Sound/Sound Enhancement with only one solitary setting and when enabled, nothing changes. Sound is what it has always been, the same, then and now. I've had my tablet for a year now. My question is how does this feature work ? What does BesLoudness require in order to work ? I have disabled certain features of my tablet for security and privacy reasons, for the same reason, some apps are disabled like Maps, Social Media apps. I have also disallowed certain permissions for certain apps that I felt no need to allow since I never used the feature the permission was required for. Somewhere along the way I might have disabled certain settings, or disallowed permissions that unknowingly rendered BesLoudness not to work.
This BesLoudness Volume Booster for Speakers has stumped me for a year now. Thank you for reading this.
