Probably you're the only one , i don't have ghost calls.
Using V21E baseband.
You need to be in V21E to eliminate ghost calls so , be sure you're on it.
Download the app GETRIL from playstore , it'll show you which baseband you're on.
But flashing v21e baseband from the start takes about the same time so , you might wanna just flash it again.
Ignore the build.prop line.
Flashing a new baseband won't modify the build.prop so it will stay as it is.
So if you flashed V21E while installing CM10 or any ROM and then V21D or something accidentally , it'll say you're on V21E , which is not accurate in this case.
That is strange,i have only been on v21e because all other roms suffers from gc issue.recently i upgraded to cm10 directly over 21e and now i know two persons that have call me and my phone did not ring!

I confirm it's true, as I have warned about this quite some time ago.
Tested by a friend with 3 different basebands, 21A, 21D and 21E. He is currently testing 21F.
All present ghost calls and at least one of them had also ghost sms'.
And 21f is good so far?i suppose i must return to stock 21e to avoid gc issues?

He has only been using 21F for some days, so still too early to say.

I use to be on V20C and decided to switch over to V21E to see if it will help with ghost call issues. I got everything working. But I noticed my reception is on Edge now. Is there anyway to fix that or is that normal cause I switched basebands? I use to be with Rogers on V20C in Canada
i need some advices on that problem too phone works but no data network (4G in my case its always "E")

Not possible, V21e does not support the required bands. Try v21f.

Is there any 3d roms for the optimus 3d yet wanna root and put new rom on but dont want to lose any of the features

Froyo, yikes. Update to gingerbread with kdz method asap. Froyo is slow and battery drain was diabolical.
Ignore the "no updates" rubbish, that's just your carrier who can't be bothered to give you any.

You are mucking up the forums with questions that have been answered over and over. Please use the search button. I think it's one of the rules (or at least it should be). Everything you need to know is in the dev section. Reading will make you more knowledgeable about your phone, its capabilities and this entire forum.
Good luck rooting your phone and trying new roms.
Sorry i just dont seem to get the right response when i post in right place for some reason. But i will do it from now on.

Good that you have rooted successfully.
21E baseband is the one that doesn't have the :GHOST CALLS" issue.
ROMs are sensitive to the baseband versions, so please be careful about te ROM you are trying out else you will face no network / boot loop / stuck on LG screen.
If you can flash Baseband 21E, then Promethius ROM 1.4 with Promethius Kernel v 1.4.5.1 ( please check for kernel versions with + and without + in the end) will give out the best battery life (as per my experience)
(He seems to be the only one active ROM developer left)

Ive tryed that rom a couple of time twice had no network signal and once stuck on lg screen bloody pain. I thought it was coz i was still running froyo but since on gb still wont work and for sum reason it wont flash the kernals all a bit of a blag for me so just on rooted stock rom now lol

You must be on GB and baseband 21e to use latest prometheus roms, and kernels.I think you can use Prometheus 1.3 rom with 1.3 kernel, and you will have signal.

I have baseband 21a. Is it safe to install cm7. And then restore back to stock cause i've read that if you do something with the memory on cm7 and dont revert when going back to stock you will hardbrick your phone. The reason of why I am so cautious is because my phone just came back from repair. I had hardbricked my phone when trying to port miui.

Im in lebanon and unlocked my g2x, my phone accepted the sim card fine and i can call but i hear nothing. I suspect its a problem with the radio signal. Im using hellfire gb 3.7

Any popping or clicking in call audio?

It may not be if you hear nothing, but worth a shot.
Settings-About Phone-baseband info there. If it mathes baseband in my screenshot, try flashing the newbaseband.zip fix.
If older date, try flashing the oldbaseband.zip.
Than use GETRil from playstore and make sure it says your RIL/Baseband match, if not it will download and match them for you.
Its a long shot but better off to start with the easy stuff.

I recently screwed around with getril and flashed a ril accidentally , I restored the old one but now it takes 5 minutes to get the cell reception.
There's only one ril available in getril for p920 and it is quite old.
What do you suggest I do ?
My baseband is v28b baseband.

Yeah , that's the destructive method.
I'm saving that as the last resort.
Anything else i can do to fix it ?
Just flash it (V28B or V30B) anyways - it also contain the correct RIL. However, LG flash tool will not touch the IMEI during baseband flashing. So it's not really destructive method, actually the opposite.

I'm using cm10 so it'd be destructive... for my personal data plus , that's the easy way out. I wanna learn something , and flashing a kdz doesn't really add something to my resume...
I wanna know how to extract the ril , where is it located how can I obtain it and I can also send that ril to getril developers so no one would have to go through with it anymore.
And various other reasons.
