That's the latest right? Can't get to 100 and battery drains fast

Did I mention to try wiping you battery stats in recovery? J/K- my bad I didn't read and thnx for rubbing it in mustang I guess I deserve it. If you tried basically everything and if it's still an issue to them how about flashing the Rom again? (I am assuming you have not tried that already).

Hey ladies and gentlemen, I thought I'd share this piece of info for anyone that's unhappy with his/her Infuse due to performance/bug errors on the stock rom. I recently was feeling the same way until I did a full restore back to the stock build through recovery. This changed my Infuse experience 100%. My battery lasts about 2-3 times longer, and the phone has Zero lag. If you're having the issues I was after getting it stock from AT&T, I'd suggest trying this before becoming totally po'd with the phone. I'm not entirely sure what this fixed, but I did clear out the dalvik cache along with all the other info. Hope it helps!
Probably un-crufted RFS. That filesystem is known for performance degradation over time, hence Voodoo Lagfix for ext4 conversion.

So you are running 100% stock? And it has better battery than rom's......I dunno
Explain more. Like you did flash back to with ultimate unbrick or what

I have no experience with the custom Roms for the Infuse, but it's running faster than my old Nexus S now. Also, there was no flash involved. I just did the default recovery image located on the stock phone.
How'd you get to that?

Essentially, yes lol. I just wanted to put it out there though, because it really made a huge difference and may help out all those people with GB thirst because of performance and battery issues.

So I have read the other threads where people run into the issue of not being able to boot their phone back up but it isn't helping me with my G2X....
I am getting the error message of can't mount /cache/xxxxxxx every time I try and wipe my phone. I also am unable to flash any new ROMs or boot my phone into a normal state. Has anyone had this problem? can anyone help? I greatly appreciate it....
How did your phone get in this state? What did you do before this problem occurred?

I actually have no idea, I had just flashed an eagleblood ROM and it was working fine, I went to make a voice command and it froze, after 5 minutes i took the battery out and put it back in and tried to boot it up, that is where the problem began.

They don't stock them anymore, so if they don't have anymore in stock they say they give you the next best phone which in reality would be a Galaxy S2.
But they mean next best in terms of price, and since the Galaxy S 4G sells for the same price as the G2x used to sell for, that'll probably what you'll be getting if you return it and they don't have any G2x's left.
I can't find anything for our phones... I plugged my phone into the car charger and a screen came up stating I was about to install custom software. I hit the wrong button & next thing I know, I have a screen that says I need to use kies to boot back up....
I odin'd back to stock and went from there, but now my flash counter is tripped and my phone is still borky. I wanna try to exchange it, but don't want the counter to be an issue

You should have used the sammobile tar, it doesn't trip the counter and also installs the baseband as well. Anyways, I have read conflicting reports on the jig working to reset it on our skyrocke, but it sounds like your car charger is a jig

Yeah... sounds that way. I usually have my powerskin on and have no issues. Not so much without it I guess. I've seen a triangle away app, but it's not recomended for our processor I guess. I could always run it, and if it bricks, problem solved! lol!

I have already tried the triangle away app. Both versions only popped up as an error that said Magic header not found. I thought posting in Chainfire's thread about this and asking what it would take to get this working for us.

I kept getting the magic header not found error. This was on first night of the leak.
I'd love to hear more about this special jig that actually resets the skyrocket! Mine doesn't work... forces download, no counter reset.
I recently bought an extended battery for my skyrocket. I used it for a few days and one night while on the charger it apparently didn't charge. It was only at 70%. Then I noticed it would drop charge while plugged in and using it. The charge icon would stay on but it would consistently drop in percentage. So I switched back to the factory battery thinking that was the problem. Nope. The phone will charge as long as I'm not using it. I also can't get my phone to connect to the computer. Tried 3 different computers and 2 different cables (1 being the factory cable).
Another issue is that I have a custom ROM installed and if I'm going to turn this in for warranty how do I get it back to stock if I can't do it through Odin?
Thanks for the help.

I would suggest cleaning the contacts on the battery and phone and try a can of air duster to blow out the usb ports u are trying to use including the phones usb. If all else fails read the stickies in the development section to go back to stock.
P.S. im not sure if u can go back to stock without ODIN. But just read the stickies cuz i could be wrong

I'm not sure if its possible but on my i777 I was able to use the mobile Odin app to flash the stock firmware. Possibly something a dev could come up in cwm since failing USB ports are becoming more and more common. A cwm flashable rom maybe and a separate stock kernal to flash after.
