Cannot get my tb to charge to 100% no matter what .... - Thunderbolt General

I cannot get my bolt to charge to 100% ...it is always a t 99 and quickly drops..
I have bump charged, and wiped battery stats after the led turns green and still only 99

That's the latest right? Can't get to 100 and battery drains fast

Ive had the same problem. I noticed if I plug the charger in then reboot all is well.

Did I mention to try wiping you battery stats in recovery? J/K- my bad I didn't read and thnx for rubbing it in mustang I guess I deserve it. If you tried basically everything and if it's still an issue to them how about flashing the Rom again? (I am assuming you have not tried that already).

Night and Day Difference After Recovery Reset

Hey ladies and gentlemen, I thought I'd share this piece of info for anyone that's unhappy with his/her Infuse due to performance/bug errors on the stock rom. I recently was feeling the same way until I did a full restore back to the stock build through recovery. This changed my Infuse experience 100%. My battery lasts about 2-3 times longer, and the phone has Zero lag. If you're having the issues I was after getting it stock from AT&T, I'd suggest trying this before becoming totally po'd with the phone. I'm not entirely sure what this fixed, but I did clear out the dalvik cache along with all the other info. Hope it helps!
Probably un-crufted RFS. That filesystem is known for performance degradation over time, hence Voodoo Lagfix for ext4 conversion.

So you are running 100% stock? And it has better battery than rom's......I dunno
Explain more. Like you did flash back to with ultimate unbrick or what

I have no experience with the custom Roms for the Infuse, but it's running faster than my old Nexus S now. Also, there was no flash involved. I just did the default recovery image located on the stock phone.

Crappy signals?

I finally got a rom that I like, its fast and stable but now my wifi is crappy. My wifi shuts off out of nowhere then comes on for a while then goes away again. Is there a tweak I could flash? Or should i use a new kernal?

try this thread:

you can also search for wifi problems.
you can also factory reset, wipe everything esp data and reflash if nothing works.

[Q] Can't mount /cache/

So I have read the other threads where people run into the issue of not being able to boot their phone back up but it isn't helping me with my G2X....
I am getting the error message of can't mount /cache/xxxxxxx every time I try and wipe my phone. I also am unable to flash any new ROMs or boot my phone into a normal state. Has anyone had this problem? can anyone help? I greatly appreciate it....

They don't stock them anymore, so if they don't have anymore in stock they say they give you the next best phone which in reality would be a Galaxy S2.
But they mean next best in terms of price, and since the Galaxy S 4G sells for the same price as the G2x used to sell for, that'll probably what you'll be getting if you return it and they don't have any G2x's left.

Facfing issues!

hey guys! I'm having problems with my phone. At night my phone switches off on its own, i had charged my phone 57% but at morning it was switched off; THere was no data enabled on it! I do agree with you on battery point. Well he already written he is using Stock ROM GB 2.3.3.
@ayazm.140895
Check your GPS also, as It can drain your battery faster. And also try to check your battery health (means how old its is?).
One more thing I want to say kernel also play a fair part in performance and battery backup. So you can try and check with different kernel.
Guys, I'm using Franco kernel#4 and I can't unmount my sdcard after turning on usb mass storage device and when I disconnect the usb cable, my phone doesn't recognize my sdcard. I have to reboot my phone to access my sdcard on my phone. Nowadays I get a “sdcard removed error“. I have to reinsert my sdcard. My battery is almost 1and 1/2 years old. I have 24 wake-ups from android (system itself)

Is this on CM7? Are you using a battery saver app? Some of them change apn in which case you have to reset the apn for it to work again (if the app did not enable itself).
I would have a $500 brick if it weren't for nvflash. Thanks Nvidia!

Try using a different kernel as some G2X's prefer the faux-based kernels while others prefer morphic/trinity-based kernels. I agree with mansa_noob - check APN settings as well.

Heads up, you don't need to clear cache or dalvik when flashing a kernel. The kernel doesn't use either of those.
At least that's what Faux says.

Thanks. I haven't been doing that for a long time now (had read it somewhere on xda). The problem is noobs like me who complain about issues all the time and hence I think standard practice has been to suggest a wipe when flashing kernels.
Heck I don't even wipe data when flashing similar ROMs (say CM7 based) .

You need ext 4 support for trinity, so touch CWM won't work. Go to the previous version.

Also, don't get it from his thread. Go to morfic's site, derkernel.Com and then choose to view the "old site." Under g2x you will see a listing of kernels. Im using the t15 Max oc kernel. I heard his elp (extra low power) builds are great too
Edit- even though wiping the caches may not be necessary, i feel cleaner when i do it lol. Just personal preference i guess
