Is this on CM7? Are you using a battery saver app? Some of them change apn in which case you have to reset the apn for it to work again (if the app did not enable itself).
I would have a $500 brick if it weren't for nvflash. Thanks Nvidia!

Try using a different kernel as some G2X's prefer the faux-based kernels while others prefer morphic/trinity-based kernels. I agree with mansa_noob - check APN settings as well.

I can say by experience and flashing a bunch of different kernels that my g2x really has a hard on for Trinity kernels. So that's what he gets for now lol

Heads up, you don't need to clear cache or dalvik when flashing a kernel. The kernel doesn't use either of those.
At least that's what Faux says.

Thanks. I haven't been doing that for a long time now (had read it somewhere on xda). The problem is noobs like me who complain about issues all the time and hence I think standard practice has been to suggest a wipe when flashing kernels.
Heck I don't even wipe data when flashing similar ROMs (say CM7 based) .

You need ext 4 support for trinity, so touch CWM won't work. Go to the previous version.
I would have a $500 brick if it weren't for nvflash. Thanks Nvidia!

Also, don't get it from his thread. Go to morfic's site, derkernel.Com and then choose to view the "old site." Under g2x you will see a listing of kernels. Im using the t15 Max oc kernel. I heard his elp (extra low power) builds are great too
Edit- even though wiping the caches may not be necessary, i feel cleaner when i do it lol. Just personal preference i guess

ext 4 support?
I've only ever used touch so I'm out of my element here

[Q] Questions/problems icbinb

Installed icbinb with theme and bali 3.3 wifi will randomly error when I turn on and freeze reboot fixes that and some widgets wont load audiogalaxy, catch, pandora to name a few.if anyone how to correct these issues please help. Thx in advance.
For the widgets, make sure they are on your phone and not the sd card. For the wifi, clear cache and fix permissions.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA Premium App
Doesn't Bali 3.3 come packed into ICBINB? Maybe you can try checking mounts, wiping data and cache, and reflash. This is coming from my past experience with ICBINB, I'm not assuring you a 100% fix, but it worked for me. Sorry if i couldn't be of much help.
Yea, I'm not sure why everyone is flashing 3.3 over icbinb. Lol.

I flashed 3.3 over the 3.3UV, cause I recalled UV lowering something. I don't wanna look through all those posts in the Bali thread, haha. Anyone wanna remind me on what it is?
UV under volts the power, basically. So you can oc more stably and it consumes less power.
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA Premium App
or it can be used as pretty sick power saver as undervolting the stock volage does not hurt the phone at all
Sorry, I meant that I recalled UV lowering something other than the voltage. It was something with the benchmarks. No way in hell I'm gonna look through those 95 pages of the Bali thread to find it, LOL! Anyone wanna enlighten me again?

Night and Day Difference After Recovery Reset

Hey ladies and gentlemen, I thought I'd share this piece of info for anyone that's unhappy with his/her Infuse due to performance/bug errors on the stock rom. I recently was feeling the same way until I did a full restore back to the stock build through recovery. This changed my Infuse experience 100%. My battery lasts about 2-3 times longer, and the phone has Zero lag. If you're having the issues I was after getting it stock from AT&T, I'd suggest trying this before becoming totally po'd with the phone. I'm not entirely sure what this fixed, but I did clear out the dalvik cache along with all the other info. Hope it helps!
Probably un-crufted RFS. That filesystem is known for performance degradation over time, hence Voodoo Lagfix for ext4 conversion.

I have no experience with the custom Roms for the Infuse, but it's running faster than my old Nexus S now. Also, there was no flash involved. I just did the default recovery image located on the stock phone.

It happened after I selected "key test" and hit the back button. Also I selected the "reboot in download mode" or something like that and a screen came up saying downloading don't shut off. Well it got stuck so I shut it off haha. But nothing bad happened. Anyways I don't know if I have the option. :/

I suggest flashing the Defuse 1.4 kernel - it doesn't do overclocking but it's solid and stable. Don't flash 1.5 - it has BLN too.
Every attempt to implement BLN on our phones has led to flakiness and instability.
Other option - upgrade to Gingerbread, that's where all the kernel development is these days.

Hey guys I just opened up SetCPU and the voltage tab went away and so did the overclocking. This happened right after I flashed Infused rom anyone know why? Should I just flash the Kernel over top? I mean I was trying to avoid that because of the bin issue

Defuse isn't an overclock kernel. You have a choice of overclocking with some instability, or stability without overclocking.

Crappy signals?

nice work cdshepherd! So I'm currently rooted, KK1, with CWM (along with UOT Kitchen systemUI.apk and framework-res.apk mods). So with the zip you created, we can just flash via CWM, wipe, and we're good to go with UCLA3? (i.e., no need to flash back to 2.3.5 stock and re-root, correct?)

Speed tests are good. Getting two bars of LTE in my house now instead of one.
My house is on the edge of LTE coverage and would average 10Mbp/s down.
I'm getting 16Mbp/s now. Not sure if the update had anything to do with it, but on the surface it looks that way.
I get 40+Mbp/s at work, so I'll see if there's an improvement when I go in tomorrow.
