Hi, I'm having a hard time with my old infuse. A while back on it I tried partitioning the sd card in it (a 16GB class 4) and it seemed successful. However upon reboot it gives me the " E: Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmclk0). \n (invalid argument) \n Error mounting /sdcard/.android_secure! "
So I dont know what to do, any help? Thanks,

You reformatted as FAT32 right? FAT16 doesn't work as far as I know.

Yup, I think its a hardware malfunction with the sdcard, so Ill probably get another one.
So I partitioned my sd to have 512mb Ext but I keep getting E:unknown volume for path [/sd-ext] Error mounting /sd-ext!
What do I do? lol

Why did you do this? I'm fairly new to the Nexus S but isn't the main storage built in therefore you can't (or shouldn't) really re-partition it? Or am I wrong?
u cant partition it.
Should I have an sd-ext partition on the nexus S ?
Should I have an sd-ext partition on the nexus S ?
I think I don't have an /sd-ext partition and in the recovery I keep getting /sd-ext related errors. Should I ignore them? If not, how can I fix that?
Thanks!
in recovery mode in mount and storage i see many options
mount /catches
mount /systen
mount/sd card
mound/sd ext
and many more what happen if i mount sd card
tell me
thanks in advance

I got the latest TWRP Recovery (v2.6.3.0). But it says "No OS Installed" what does it mean by that? How can I fix it?
Actually when I try to do anything like wipe something I keep getting these errors:
Code:
E: Unable to mount '/sdcard'
E: Unable to mount storage.
It seems that it can't locate my sd card. Although when I press mount I can see all the files on my computer but I can't see it on the TWRP's File Manager or when I try to install a .zip
Fixed
Mods you can close this thread. I found out what the problem was. It was the way the SD Card was formatted. I have a MacBook so I guess when I was formatting the SD Card on my Mac it wouldn't format it right or to a way recognizable to TWRP
The solution? I just wiped the internal SD Card on TWRP Recovery instead. That fix all the "E: Unable to mount '/sdcard'" issue.
i have an mtk device i kind of wanted to partition my internal storage. now im missing everything. in cwm(which i can access) it says error cant mount cache
i go into mount and storage everything is unmounted i cant mount anything help?
