Compared with old sense

Sense 5 looks way better IMO. Less clutter, less chrome. It should work nicely in our screens with so much black.
I think it looks **** lol

I must disagree with you on that .
I like the new look with simpler icons and widgets more than the current one.
I especially like the looks of new lockscreen. Hope the usability has also been improved. I might be clumsy or something, but i find the current ring shortcuts too difficult to use. I'm currently running stock JB and have replaced the lock screen with Holo Locker.
As long as its faster, I'll take it

I'm with him... I really like Sense 4 - 4.5. =/
So it's basically your usual Sense update. Some like it, some don't, none can grasp that.
Cool.
It's cool for a slimmed down Sense look that is. What would be really cool is if there was an option in Settings for plain vanilla Android or the Sense version.
Just saying is all...

Can someone pull the ACTUAL HTC clock widget? I switched cm7 and I really miss it.
The ones in the market just aren't quite the same. I have my HTC rom still if no one wants to pull it. Can someone just tell me how?
Sent from my Microwave
From my understanding it is not possible on cm7. It is a widget designed for HTC sense framework and cm7 does not have any of that bloat. Sorry to bum you out
There are many different clock Widgets out there and I had a hard time finding a good one so I keep it simple and use digital clock widget with bat stat side by side.

As far as apks? Just use root explorer, but once again I doubt it will actually work because sense objects are designed for sense ui

My first android phone was a MT4G. I didn't root it for 6 months. I got really used to expresso. Then when I rooted I went VU and loved it. I tried CM7 and I just didn't dig it. Moved to the Slide on a alternate exchange. The doubleshot ROM is pretty OK. Crackin DS is just that much better (running Roman's kernel and actually quite stable). Maybe I should give Senseless a chance...

You should, its pretty much sense with ADW launcher (cm7 launcher), with all the needed sense features such as dialer, contacts, camera, etc. So you get the best of CM7 in a way and the best of Sense. I highly recommend it to you. Use the stock kernel with it though.

Boosting post count.. lol. I tried your update and it works great! I was attempting to leave some feed back there but since I'm new I wasn't able to. It seems like the FC option comes from the "Facebook for HTC Sense" when it tries to sync the calendar. At least this happens for me.
Other than that so far this update is great. I'll keep poking around to see if anything else becomes an issue, although I doubt it seems perfect.
I'm odd. What I do now is if I need sense I restore my last nandroid sense on crack. If I want to use my daily driver agent orange I use my other.

Why do some phones have different home screens when running the same OS? Example: the Infuse has a much different overall look than other phones that run Froyo.
Might be a dumb question, but its a curiosity.
That's the beauty of android....every manufacturer gives their individual android devices their own personality....

Maybe not stock as previusly mentioned since Infuse stock its not naked its actually running Touchwiz, HTC stock is running sense.
Naked I think means as for the called "vanilla" android meaningno customization per manufacturer, nothing like touchwiz or sense or motoblur on top of the "original" android home sreen the "AOSP" home screen.

Also in top of the touchwiz or sense or motoblur, the home screens can change as you can run different home launchers (launcher pro plus, go launcher ex, regina launcher, 3d spb shell) to mention some.
And of course even in the same launcher everyone can vastly customize theyre home screens as everyone likes(with widgets, no widgets, 1 screen, 7screens, full of apps, no apps at all) without mentioning the still wallpaper or the live wallpapers.
So basicly... If you are on Android its gonna be REALLY hard that 2 home screens are the same.
And that for me its Android .

You're gonna have to modify a load of m10 files or you're going to have a lot of things falling off the screen. A kernel is gonna be even worse since you need a Sense compatible ICS kernel, and that won't be fun to conjure up.
Is it possible to see how the camera is configured in that ROM. An take another aosp ics ROM, remove the camera in it, then try to put it in Feb's ROM? Just a thought.

Being that it is sense, I'm figuring it has sense framework, that won't work with aosp. But sering how it works well be helpful. Another thought would be to take a gnex ROM, rip it apart, find the camera files. Keep in mind where they go, then try to duplicate it in our ROM.
