my nexus S i9023 ask me for un update to android 4.0.4 !
i downloaded the update by wifi on my phone, it asked me to restart the phone so it will finish ! but my nexusS never restarted?
please help me i bought it just 5 days ago :crying:
PS: i can't acces to the recovery mode

1/ i can't install java on ubuntu
2/ when i choose open (.jar) as program it does not check
It can be only the battery as a burned motherboard. Some solutions for you:
- Do the JTAG/JIT fix using the RIFF Box.
- Open your phone and try to find something strange
THE EASIER: Give your phone to Samsung, they have to fix this, you told that it's only five days right? Probabilly it will be free.

If you're on warranty time, just send it to s amsung. I once fried my motherboard because I pulled the battery during boot and thanks to Samsung's repair I'm typing this message from the very same phone stay cool

first i wanna say that i solved the two problemes i had on my first message
i started the unbrickable resurector and it worked well, it said that the phone is on download mod ! i can now see some light on my phone !
right now only one thing is missing : How can i use odin on UBUNTU

Hy everyone !
My name is Laurentiu, I am from Romania, and a few weeks ago I just bought a Samsung Galaxy S Plus (i9001) and from yesterday I have a problem with the battery duration.
Last night at 2 am my baterry was at 95% and in the morning at 8 am my phone was closed, i have tryed to open, I saw the message with plug in your phone and the phone has stopped.
Now ... I want to install 2.3.4 because I saw that is coming with some battery leacking bux fixed.
How can I do this ? Please help me !

Or

Hi guys I thought I would see if I could find a solution here you all seem to be a nice bunch of folks with little or no trolls lol.
Right I rooted my phone today and installed beastmod using clockwork recovery mod I followed the instructions and everything down to the T and well my phone comes up with the samsung galaxy sign with the ! mark in the yellow triangle then it goes black and nothing happens I am worried I have bricked my phone.
So I thought ok ill switch back to the original rom but I cant find the original ROM ,well I can but the links are dead my Kernel from what I can remember was BOKG2.. which seems to be macedonia strange since I live in the uk and I am also on tmbile lol .
I have no idea what to do any help would be very appreciated! I just want my phone back to normal now although using beastmod would be cool too!
oh and I can still boot in recovery and download mode ..

Im from Brazil and ts my first post and and, of course, I do have a problem...kinda big one!
After installing and factory reseting a couple of ICS versions, to my Razr HD XT925 my IMEI has changed to "0" and my cel phone.Of course I dont have a back up (I know...silly me) and of course that, as a cel phone, it isnt working anymore!
I've found a great post here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1960918), but I cant get the right drivers installed so my phone isnt in the QPST config list (Im using Windows 7 64bits Compilation 7061). I've installed the latest drivers version already (MotorolaDeviceManager_2.3.4) and no matter what, I can´t get it.
Attached I'll post a screen shot with the missed drivers name so maybe someone can give an advice about how to get them in order to complete the procedure and get my cellphone alive again...because till now, it's has became an expensive iPod!

I bought nexus 7 2012 from an online shopping site .(Warranty was not there)
It ran good couple of months. Then I got an udate from jelly bean to Kitkat.Unfortunately the update was not sucessful , the device got bricked , after a lot of googling I somehow unbricked the device and installed kitkat manually using some custom tools. After that ,the device worked for couple of weeks then suddely it doesnt respond to touch .
I tried all I could like reconnecting the display ribbon cables ,went to a repairing shop but no use .
Dont know what to do , need your help guys ... please

hi guys this is my 1st thread in xda forum as this forum helped me alot in the past, well!! here it is, i have an lg g3 i bought it from someone on the street so i can repair it, but thins are not going well actualy, the previous owner clamed that the phone has only softwar issue thats why i didnt hesitate to buy it.
this phone is an lg g3 internationnal version D855 16gb rom / 2 gb ram the problem is that the phone restart whle using it, i cant find any pattern when it restarts but i tryed the following:
- hard resset
- downgrading to kitkat stock firmware/upgrading to marchmallow or lollipop.
- rooting and instaling cyanogenmod.
-changing the battery (swaped batteryes with my cousin he has the korrean version F400S) while he was using my battery his phone never restarts with 24hours of use but mine did .
so till this moment think the only thing i will do is to throw it in the toilette and flushe twice and say good by to my 90$ lol
ps: the restart procces is : frezez then a black screen after that it boot normaly with no boot sound.

I see that you have tried and successfully flashed the stock rom for the device and the problem still occurs
In this case there is nothing much to do but to ask for assistance from a LG service center , it is most probably a hardware problem since you have fully restored its factory operating system

hi! thiank you for your reply, as you said it is probably a hardzare issue so i will do as you said and ask assistance from lg but i dont have guarantee on the phone, do you think they will hepl me solve this ??
They should, if there is no warranty then you may need to pay a fee, go and ask them, won't hurt Cheers
