I am new to the forum and did a little research on it first before asking this question. I've seen some questions of a similar nature but not one of the same unless I missed it - been searching all morning!
I've purchased a HDC Galaxy S3 phone from China and it does not have the English UK Language on it. It has English US which is no no use to me, It does not have a dictionary either. Can one of you guys point me in the right direction as to where I can get an english dictionary and english uk language for the phone. Its Andriod 4.04.

I recently purchased an HTC magician with a chinese rom. I wish to install the english rom. Reading through the forum indicates that some people have had trouble doing the upgrade, so could any one point me in the right direction torwards what to do and what not to do?
Hi guys I'm new here, sorry if i may have posted in the wrong section but i do feel it's the most appropriate. And i did read the rules about making a new topic as well.
Anyway I just got my Touch Pro today and having problem with changing the language. My dad bought it for me from Taiwan and I can read mandarin/chinese fine but i prefer to be in english.
I did some Google search and apparently you can't change the language of the phone due to the rom or something?? I think it's stupid coz every fone i owned be4 can change languages. In fact, this is the first time i've seen and used a fone that doesn't let u change the language and it's quite disappointing.
Anyway, I still wanna use chinese when i type, but i mainly want english overall. Is there a way to keep both??
If it's not possible, can someone please show me how to change it to full english then?

you will need to flash your pro with an english Rom.
before you do i suggest you search the forums more
to start goto:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=448008
then select any rom according to your phone (GSM or CDMA) so do lots of search and reading first that is my advise to you and good luck.
thanks for your reply, my phone has a sim card slot so it's a GSM then?

Ok it seems that if your phone doesn't have a sim card slot, it's CDMA, but some other guy told me that his phone is CDMA but has a sim card slot, so what's going on??

this month my brother gives me an usa smartphone t-mobile dash, I did a long search and after much difficulty I managed to put the rom English kavana.
I wanted to ask if there are programs that work really put the English in this kavana of windows 6.1 and also wanted to ask if there is a rom specific because I can not find aa nowhere and the S620 does not work.

Hi! Please somebody who knows if HTC SENSATION bought in SCHWITZERLAND/SCHWEIZ is reading arabic language... Need answere quickly sinse I`m leaving the country tomorrow and they don`t seem to know it here. And by language I mean not just on the display but also writing and reading in arabic just like the phone read english for example.

XDA while understands your want for a forum in your native language this not not an option. In the XDA rules it states that all posts are to be in English. This is the way it has always been and always will be.
