[Q] Unlock Sony Xperia Tipo - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Hello. I have a Sony Xperia Tipo but it's locked and it's not possible to unlock by IMEI because it's exceeded in number of attempts. In Sim lock it says 0 attempts. Is there any solution to unlock it to can use any operator SIM?
It´s possible to reset the count of attempts?
Thanks!

Couldn't you call up your movie phone service provider and they can do it? O.O

Is this about your simcard being blocked? After typing the PIN-code wrong too many times?
You should have received another code, usually around 8 or more digits. I believe it's called a PUK-code.
Your phone service carrier should have given you the code, or you are able to get it from them, for free ofcourse. If they want you to pay for a PUK-code they're doing illegal stuff.
Try if your phone locks when you take out the simcard. If it does, you should contact a local Service Point, then it's not the carriers fault, but a phone issue.

[Completed] Xperia Z1 - unlock SIM with code problem

Hi guys,
I've got a problem with my Z1 C6903. I bought the unlocking code to unable the SIM lock, but then I found out, that my phone is blocked (no idea how it happened) - in service panel everywhere is 0 in SIM lock informations. Orange, who sold me the code said that I can send it to the Sony Service and they will unlock Z1 for free. But I will be waiting for my phone about 1-2 months... Is there any possibility to unlock it?
Hi !
Please e-mail the seller of that code about that and keep in touch with him , this matter isn`t on XDA1s area
Cheers !

Galaxy S8+ not prompting for unlock code

I have one galaxy s8 which was claimed to be unlocked b4 buying it,put in my sim and it's writing "invalid sim card, sim card not supported"if i go to settings and search for available networks,it will bring different networks but wont allow me to register on it.if i try to call...it will say "not registered on network"
I made an enquiry and they said if it is locked,it should prompt for an unlock code immediately i put my sim inside.even if i wana unlock again,d phone is not asking for any unlock code neither is it asking for unfreeze code.i also tried secret codes with it and it is not working #7465625*638#.it is a branded at&t phone
You may need to configure the APN for the new carrier manually. Go to settings, connections, mobile network, then APN (Access Point Names), select add and type in new APN settings.
However if that doesn't work, It may be hard locked. Meaning that an invalid sim unlock code was entered too many times. In my past experiences if it doesn't prompt you for the code when you enter a new sim card it is either hard locked or already unlocked and needs the APN settings configured. However after inserting a new sim card the phone would normally configure the APN automatically and only on occasion would I need to modify it to get data/text working properly.

invalid sim card, sim card not supported means it is locked device, i would like to help you to unlock it if you're interested
I'm facing this same issue. When I got the phone I installed an unbranded firmware (XAA/XAA/ATT) and I've since upgrade to Oreo. I can't seem to restore an ATT firmware so I can be prompted to enter the unlock code. Any suggestions?
make sure you using non at&t sim and it must be an active sim card. submit an unlock request to at&t on their website or use an unlock service like attunlocker.us to get your code.

Yes, it's a T-mobile SIM.
Sorry to necro, but does no one have a solution for this? I've seen plenty of threads such as this but very few solutions.
Necro double-post, I'm really asking for it...
First, you have to get an unlock code from the carrier. I had AT&T and it told me my phone was active under an account (previous owner). When you call AT&T and ask for an ulock they loop you to the website and you can't progress there, so you just have to ask for "customer service" twice and then get to the second level support. They can get you an 8 digit code for unlock. But I still never got prompted for the code and neither AT&T (5 calls), Cricket (3 calls), or xFinity (3 calls) could tell me how to get to the unlock screen. The following did it.
My solution was to use the following method, as found on https://www.tenorshare.com/samsung/samsung-unlock-code.html:
Step 1: Open the phone and type #7465625*638*# in the dialer.
Step 2: Then, it will ask for the Samsung Reset Code, it is an 8-digit code.
Step 3: Provide it and you will be done.

Any way to unlock network carrier

I have a S8+ (955F version) which is locked to 3 in sweden.
Is there any way to remove the network lock?
I've tried 2 different ROM's but both seem to have the lock there

Usually the simplest way is to request an unlock code from your carrier, quite often carrier app will allow you to request the code.
Hope this helos

Unfortunately ive been in touch with the carrier, however they claim that they cant find the phone in their database and still the phone is preloaded with their app and it only works with their SIM card.
Try a third party, you'll have to pay or there is a guy here who does it free in his free time so don't bug him.
Flashing any ROM like you've done won't do anything. The lock isn't in the ROM software.
What message does your phone reads when you insert a non-accepted SIM Card?
Does it ask you for anything or does it display a message?
Also, check your IMEI's status on imeipro.info to make sure it is not blacklisted.

It says:
"SIM Network Unlock PIN"
and then 2 buttons, Unlock or Dismiss.
Ive already checked , its not blacklisted. The device is brand new.

Do you know who that guy is? I dont mind paying for it.
I already tried a third party who claims they will send an unlock code within 10-30 mins. They sent me an app and also an unlock code. The app itself shows that "the device is permanently unlocked" but its not and they dont answer anymore now.

If your phone asks for SIM network unlock PIN, then you should be able to get the unlock code from any unlock code provider you find.
There is no need to install an app, you just need the 8 digits unlock code.
you can use https://www.unlockgsm.net website to unlock any network carrier.
